  • John from www.discountjuicers.com/ demonstrates juicing 1 pound of leafy green vegetables in both the NEW Omega NC800 and the Omega 8004. In this juice-off episode, John will briefly explain the differences between the Omega NC800 and the 8004 and then proceed to juice 1 pound of organic spring mix baby leafy greens in each machine. After he is done juicing, he will share with you the total length of time it took to juice, as well as the moisture left in the pulp and finally how much each juicer created in green juice. After watching this episode you will discover if Omega has been accurate in stated yield improvements with this machine or if a online reviewer of this machine is correct.

The parts are not available to upgrade the 800x machines at this time. You must purchase the new machine currently to get the new parts. I believe it is worth the upgrade.

I did a juice off between the 8004 and champion at

For leafy greens, the 8004/NC800 will OWN the champion.

John, Does the champion juicer beat both of these? Could you do a juice off with that one against the new NC800. I am trying to make the best choice for my situation. Juicing greens is of utmost importance! Thank you

The NC800 screen will NOT fit the 8004. Neither will the end cap with the adjustable tensioner for the pulp.

Hey John I believe the screen for the 800 will fit in the 8004. I have the 8004, my screen cracked and omega replaced it under warranty and sent me one last week with a bigger screen and it fit perfectly. Assuming they sent me the screen from the 800 you have. just a thought!

John, I read about there being a red version of the NC800. I don't find it online, is it a color choice that is yet to come? Just curious. I own the 8004 and absolutely love it. I would like to own a second juicer "just in case". The NC800 will be my choice. Thanks for your videos.

Can you juice any old leaf (like the ones that grow outside on trees)?

is there any place/on line shop I can get the parts to make my omega 8006 work as a Nc800? I mean the front/working parts with larger hole.

While this juicer will juice ANY leaves of any tree, most leaves off trees are not edible. I encourage you to juice standard vegetables. To learn if a plant is edible or not visit the web site Plants for a Future at PFAF.org

what about omega 8007 ..I haven't seen it been tested against Omega 8004 .. that only tells me Omega 8007 upgrades didn't work to be better juicer than Omega 8004.

The Omega 9000 juicer is the old skool centrifugal non-ejection style machine. Im not a fan of this style machine.
