Oh man getting my feet up has been a challenge for the Handstand.. I can get my feet up for the headstand easily but the Handstand has been challenging.. tk you for the tips
Lifting the toes for press was difficult for me also. Leaning enough in front goes a long way to do this as you've presented. Mobility definitely helps also.

My wrists hurt too much in that position
Slowly condition the wrists with more volume but less intense positions, work on general upper body mobility and it’s also worth trying low P Bars (parallettes)

Does trying this with parallettes work as well?
Coach that's a nice explanation, it applies to every freestanding skill, when you record yourself you understand that your hips should be on top of your hands to succeed.
Yes 100% and its cool to look at different skills and see the similarities
What are some benchmarks/milestones with mobility to know that you have enough to do the press to handstand? (just wondering how to identify a bottleneck)
Palms to floor standing forward fold will makes things easier, but adding strength in the upper back and shoulders at the same time will give you lots of options
I tried leaning forward into crow pose and fell over.
Move slowly and hold just before you fall. Video from the side to self critique the position and give it time to condition
You are blessed not to have too long legs.
