Him saying that him and his mom had a rocky relationship does not mean hes slandering her. Family's have arguments and different view points all the time and given the context that hes gay and his family is Mormon, its great that they seem to still have a great relationship. He's allowed to be his own person and speak his mind even tho he's a disabled child who was adopted. You're talking like you want him to kiss the ground she walks on or something.
