She explained what really happened in all the times she was called a “diva” or “rude”, also I met her 4 times, twice at sweetener tour, once at dwt, and once at the hmt and had nothing but great experiences, so please put yourself in her shoes and that donut thing she was still high after getting her wisdom teeth removed, and notice how she didn’t try to be defensive or anything while getting called out for that.

She's v humble now. Her non publiziced humanitarian works too👌🏻

I always think of little pageboys toddling up the aisle with a ring on a cushion while everyone holds their breath and hopes he doesn't fall over, start crying, or spot a kitty and dash away after it.

It's a nice little way to be inclusive of any ringed person. I work in the birth world and I must say child bearer like 35 times a day if not triple that when I teach.

I loved it.. and may be it's because I'm not very much into wedding ring tradition. My own ring is a gold band with my husband's name, and his is with my name in it.. and we seldom wear it 🤷🏾
the pearl was from her grandfathers pin after he died and dalton got permission from her parents to put it on her engagement ring which is thoughtful
The pearl actually is very important because it was her grandfathers which was given to her by her grandma, so that's why she has it.

It’s starting to grow on me but overall the asymmetry did mess with me. I think the fact that it is so simple but also has two parts and not just one thing helps.

The pearl is actually from her Grandfather’s pin (who passed away) and her Grandma made it into a ring. Then she always wear the ring for goodluck. The way that her fiancé incorporated her grandpa’s pearl pin is really touching. Its very thoughtful.

It’s not the same pearl - the one from her grandfathers pin is actual quite large. The designer who made the ring posted on instagram about the process and he confirmed that Dalton (the fiancé) wanted to incorporate a pearl element (not the pearl itself) as it has meaning to Ariana

"I believe that each engagement ring should be tailored to the ring bearer, you know, the person who's actually going to be wearing it", where were you when my mother-in-law was trying to tell me that it should be what he picks 'cause it's what he thinks represents what he feels for me? 😆 I am very happy with the ring I have, I took into consideration ideas he had and we came to a compromise that made us both happy. But I know for a fact if I didn't let him know my feelings I would've ended up with a ring that I wouldn't wear and that I didn't like, and that's not fair to either of us 🙂
Wait why should the ring be what *he* likes if you’re the one wearing it? It’s like if you were to give him what you’ve always wanted for his birthday or any holiday. Odd. Maybe he should have gotten himself a ring if he wanted to get a specific one and then gotten you one?
I picked my own ring, which was what we both wanted.
I dont even wear jewelry so someone telling me what i should wear is like nope
Yeah, my fiancée purposely purchased a ring at least 2 sizes too large and when we went to get a wedding ring I wanted to size it down but both my jeweler and future husband were convinced I was going to gain a ton of weight during future pregnancies because we wanted a family in the future, so they convinced me to get a little adjuster. I had 3 pregnancies and never gained enough for the ring to fit. After the pregnancies I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which led to me gaining a lot of weight (10 years into the marriage), and gained more than the ring could accommodate. I finally found an anti inflammatory diet that caused me to loose all the weight 20 years into the marriage and the ring is too big. I always hated wearing the ring because it was never comfortable with the size adjuster which broke 3 years into the marriage before the pregnancies. Such silliness to not have a ring that fit me in the beginning. Now I realize I just don’t like wearing rings so I don’t get it resized, so really having it fit me back when I was trying would have been best.

I think the sentiment behind the ring is lovely but the ring itself just looks bad. I think because of how big and tilted the diamond is compared to the thin band and smaller pearl is weird.

My dads a professional jeweler/goldsmith and he told me that because pearls are so soft they make for poor engagement rings, especially if you’re hard on your hands (even like house cleaning stuff). They get damaged really easily and have to be replaced every few years. For a more “special occasion” kind of ring they work better. I guess tho for someone as well off as Ariana it wouldn’t matter if they had to be replaced, but I hope the pearl wasn’t sentimental to her if she plans on wearing it every day!

I’m surprised you didn’t really discuss the use of a pearl. With hand washing and general wear, that pearl is not going to last. It’ll need constant maintenance (replacement) over the years as the nacre becomes damaged.
the pearl is from a pin/pair of cufflinks that belonged to her granddad who passed away, and was given to ariana by her nonna after his death which is why it's included in her ring

Someone in another comment said it wasn't the actual pearl her gpa gave her, so like the wealthy celebrity she is she will likely swap the pearl whenever it shows noticeable wear and tear.

I really like how this video was edited and this was a super cool video! I love jewellery and design, so subscribed ! First her ring threw me off a little bit because we're so used to seeing symmetry, but also I immediately thought : that's Ari for you, spacey, up is down and down is up. But the more I looked at it, the cooler I thought it looked. It's definitely a cool and modern ring but still sweet and girly and it goes with her style. This could easily blend with her outfits, so I say : original, cool, young, dreamy, romantic ( with the pearl ), spacey with the angle and placement, modern, and Ari.

I do love the meaning behind Ari's ring and respect it, the tribute to her grandfather is admirable. But the ring still looks off kilter! That being said, pearls are VERY delicate and daily wear will be tenuous a best. I would have suggested using the lead in a necklace and letting the diamond stand alone in the ring.
But if Ari is happy, I'm happy for her. I just don't want her to be heartbroken if something happens to that irreplaceable pearl!
The ring is supposed to be off kilter, if it wasn't there would be a gaping hole in the center lol.

Idk where you’re from but there’s a decent number of colleges here in Canada that offer programs in goldsmithing, gemmology, etc.

There are college’s, universities and private schools all over the world that offer jewellery making trades. It’s a profession & it has to be studied. Don’t know which corner of the globe you’re in, but I’m sure if you looked into it properly you would find an appropriate school to study the trade
