A full English is definitely a breakfast you eat on a Saturday. maybe in a cafe, when you’re hungover and have nothing else to do for the rest of the day 🤣
Hangover cure or prepping the stomach for a all day drink session
Unless you train strongman and eat it every morning 😆
@@conortoms9575 *laughs* Not everyone is Eddie Hall!
@@DeAnoJackson no its what I do ✌😄
Only eat them before an all day drinking sesh or after. If I’m on holiday, both scenarios usually apply.
Americans do realise bangers is like a nickname for sausages and we actually call them sausages
Ginger nobody gives a damn about gingers as you have no souls
Ginger we made you anyway so you just insulted your great great great great grand parents, you racist, untorable, uneducated, obese numpties 👍
@Ginger going to cry over jokes again?
@Ginger you serious someone made a joke about America you cried over it now your making jokes about the uk that's a bit hypocritical if you ask someone who has a fully developed brain unlike you
@@jamiewalker1493 this is true xD
I saw a video comparing fast food I'm America and the UK
UK McDonald's fries: Potato, sunflower oil, salt
US McDonald's fries: *deep inhale* (proceeds to recite the periodic table)
I would like to have seen the American breakfast be comparable to the Full English. I think of a southern style breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, grits and biscuits with jam or gravy.
It is. Most people eat what you state here (or cereal/milk) for breakfast traditionally. Eggs Benedict is a "fancy" American breakfast so I think she was giving her a challenge.
What you described are food item but not usually eaten together or for breakfast.
The traditional American breakfast is similar to a full English. Eggs, toast, bacon, often with hash browns or fried potatoes of some sort. Bacon might be substituted with ham or sausage. Pancakes might be subbed for toast. Most people don't eat it anymore. Maybe on a weekend or in a diner. Biscuits and gravy is a southern thing, but you'll find it in greasy spoon cafes more or less everywhere in the US.
Yes 👏
Gravy?! 😂😂 in the UK we on ever have them with Jam and whipped or clotted cream 😂
The only breakfasts I can think of that screams “America” is milk and cereal or pancakes 😂 (this is from a non-american)
Or becon eggs and toast or pancake bacon and eggs I dont know what that crap was.
Or with bangers as they say.
Oh it depends on where you go. I’m American and there are several versions of an American breakfast. I personally like cinnamon rolls, biscuits (fluffy versions of crumpets) and sausage gravy, skillets ( eggs topped with minced potatoes, meat, and toast), and breakfast burritos. There’s also waffles, oatmeal, grits, muffins, and a bunch of other things.
Here in Texas, we like to eat breakfast tacos.
@@Scz-wu9fh Breakfast burrito would've been a good one, although the salsa might be challenging
Meanwhile it's 12mn where I'm currently at and these girls made me get up just to fry bacon for midnight snack. 😅
@Around the World in April Days 😂🤣🤣🤣
But like, American or British style bacon?
I can tell you fat but cute🤤
@@ybleano4396 people can be fat and cute :P
Ew why would anyone want to eat bacon as a snack? Pork is nasty
American breakfast is a ziploc baggie of frootloops on your way to school.
Hi, average fat American checking in. This is not the “American” breakfast. It’s eggs, toast/bagel, bacon/sausage, cereal,and/or pancakes/waffles/French toast
well eggs benedicts are super popular in California since we go crazy for brunch, especially in LA lol and seems the girl in the video is very LA Californian
@@Camillelele69 you’re right this is definitely the”LA breakfast” not the “all American” breakfast.
Eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast is the American way whatever this “American breakfast” she made is not it and is over thought of
Eggs Benedict are popular in Ireland as well.
But mate, why toast AND a bagel?? I can't imagine that. That much bread would give me painful and humiliating hiccups.
@@NoudlePipW my bad the slashes were meant to mean "either/or" _however_ on a cheat day I will eat everything on that list. You'll get it, just takes practice
The full English didn’t have hash browns 😮 ...
I know right
It had filthy richmond sausages instead of cumberland
so sad...hash browns are my favourite part in a full English
Rude
Was thinking this!!
Its kinda funny how the UK breakfast is 10 times the American breakfast, when it usually the other way around when it comes to portion sizes.
Jason L. If you start the day with a good breakfast, maybe you don’t need to eat all day.
A lot of Americans don’t actually eat as much as you’d think. Although some eat a lot but I guess that’s the same with a lot of other countries.
Because it's not eaten everyday and when you do eat it you could probably skip lunch and not notice.
@Theo Bloomfield Nauru has the highest obesity rate
Lol we don’t eat like that every day don’t worry. Maybe once in a while cuz nobody has the time to make it. Most students skip breakfast or just have cereal/toast.
Im English and i have never heard anyone call an English muffin a bread roll, a bread roll is a very different thing, I also leave the bacon till the end as it cools so quickly, on a side note you can also get white pudding same as black but its just pure pig fat never tried it but might be good for cooking other things in like you would with butter.
That's exactly what i was thinking. Its a muffin and that's it!
An english muffin has different texture to bread rolls.
White pudding is more than just "fat" or suet if you give it the correct name. It's Main ingredients are suet plus oatmeal/barley and pork meat.
Very similar to the Black Pudding just without the Pigs Blood. Definitely a good alternative if you don't like the strong Iron/metallic taste of Black Pudding.
@@TJWhiteStar Many thanks for the info so its more of a spam type thing then by the sounds of it
@@jamesfry8983 tbh if you just take Black Pudding and make it a boring beigey white lol 😂 that's white pudding. I think these days they make it same as the black type but just don't add the blood in commercial ones so the difference is minor in terms of ingredients but massive in terms of flavour as the Pigs Blood is the strongest flavour in it. I think SPAM is cured whereas this isn't hence beige not pink 😂. I would definitely recommend trying it (tastes like a more oaty/mealy sausage is best I can think of)
That is not an American breakfast eggs benedict um no!
We eat it regularly in America... therefore an American breakfast. Not saying we exclusively eat it as a lot of countries and cultures share cuisines.
@@hayleymiller7032 I'm American they again.
Tracey Del-Gado Being American is different from eating like other Americans.
I agree, when I think of an American breakfast I think of pancakes, eggs, and bacon or some variation of that.
@@Bardium Exactly!
Let's be honest, we all just have cereal...
Yeah the only time I have a full english is like on a weekend or from a cafe
Yup. That's about right. I only make bacon and pancakes or waffles once in a while. Most of the time I just do cold cereal and Almond milk.
Lol yeah.
How I start the day is oatmeal, a fried egg, and magical delicious coffee.
Weetabix
lets be honest, we all skip breakfast lol
The black pudding was my favorite thing on my plate! 😍 Don't knock anything until you try it!
Where should we swap with next?
India!!!!!
have u lost weight? 🤔
or is it just the paleness u got during the quarantine, which lets u look thinner? i mean u look more beautiful than normaly lool
I think you liked black pudding since it tastes similar to 순대? I wouldn't know coz I don't eat blood nor innards. 😅
Anywhere but should include Ada more. She was entertaining.
Ewald W. I’m doing something on BuzzFeed Video that might explain this ;) Keep a look out for it! ( but thank you!! ☺️ )
I really dislike US breakfast.. I’m jealous of Asian breakfasts it seems so comforting and healthy compared to us. I feel like UK and US are the most fattening breakfasts lol
Tbf I think french breakfasts are up there in level of unhealthy
truee..
Make the breakfast you want you don't have to eat the us breakfast
Ye and true
Also im in south east asians :)
Comforting and "healthy" yet not as much energy
That full English breakfast looks amazing. Ada did a great job too.

If you didn't know Domino's has vegetable pizzas in India.
We dont call an English muffin "a roll" dont even get started on the roll, bap, blah blah cake etc none of which are a breakfast muffin
my American breakfast: inhailing a bowl of cereal as I'm running late for work to go to the nearest Dunkin's for my iced coffee lol
In what part of the US is Eggs Benedict considered a “traditional” American breakfast??? Cuz I’m from the South and if we’re not eating cereal or poptarts our traditional breakfast consists of pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, fried/scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, and biscuit and gravy!
There is no traditional American breakfast
Gravy for breakfast????? Noooo that only goes with your Sunday roast dinner
@@yournan5195 Hey don’t knock it til you try it :P It’s not the same type of gravy that you eat with a roast. It’s white and tastes completely different. Compliments biscuits perfectly 👌
@@celticlord88 That is a dirty lie, you dirty birdy.
@Your Nan White pepper gravy, often with chunks of sausage. It isn't a runny English gravy. It's thick, and chunky, and full of cholesterol--just like we like our women.
The part that has the coastal elite hipsters. The parts of the US that think the rest of the country are backward racist's and that look at the states that grow all the food they eat as unimportant fly over states that shouldn't have a say in the governing of the country.
I'm still looking for the US breakfast ...
Ain’t never seen an eggs Benedict made like that
As a fellow Brit, who the hell calls an English muffin a roll
@Ginger cry some more
@Ginger stalker? That's not how comments on the internet work I don't know where you live or anything personal about you but ok

actual "U.S" breakfasts:
general: eggs/bacon/cheese sandwiches or pancakes
Western: Tex mex style breakfast like breakfast tacos or burritos
Mid-Atlantic/eastern: Lox bagels
Gen z: black cold brew (+oat milk)

Ada Enechi You did great! Should do a dessert episode UK vs US next 👍🏼
Mitch Rapp that’s what I’m thinking @jasminepak 👀👀
Ada Enechi I’m down let’s do it
That was so fun to watch you two. Thanks for the lift to my day!
I love the idea of US vs UK Dessert! Please and thank you.
So Red Velvet Vs Banoffee pie that be cool
I cringed when she placed the English muffin on raw bacons...
Both looks great.
Our typical breakfast from the Philippines are silogs and it looks simple but taste amaaazing.
As a Brit, we don't call English muffins bread rolls. We call them English muffins. Bread rolls are entirely different things.
@Ginger nope that infact is false
A customer in the US : So what’s your special ingredient?
The Chef : pulls out the periodic table.
This eggs benny recipe hurts my brain and soul so so much, please no one actaully use that hollandaise recipe
That hollandaise was thin and pale, probably not her fault but the fault of the recipe. Would agree.
The egg yolks are healthy tho because they have the good kind of cholesterol (look it up)😁👍
Its true! Theres a difference between LDL and HDL
@@chyeaitslucy yep!! We need to spread the word lol
Highly nutritious!
Actually tomato is fruit and mushroom is fungus. I would add some brown sauce and ketchup to all of that.
That full English looks so delicious! I'm down for the blood pudding! I'll try anything once! Twice just to be sure!
Black Pudding is delicious once you overcome the thought of eating it lol. It is absolutely DELICIOUS.
Need some hash browns on that fry up, sacrilege
@Ginger I mean for the American breakfast in the video they used an English muffin so?
@Ginger Traditional English breakfast is just bacon, eggs, fried tomatoes, fried mushrooms, fried bread, and sausages. But most English breakfasts nowadays skip the fried mushrooms and have hash browns and baked beans.
@Ginger everyone and there mum eats hashbrowns with there English breakfast just because you got your info from wikipedia dosent mean your right
@Ginger that's sadly not believable
@Ginger I don't have the time to write a paragraph with punctuation on a UA-cam comment section sadly
The girl did an amazing job for someone Who doesn't usually cook !!
I love Jasmine's energy
Her Hollandaise was thin... you were supposed to use clarified butter
But you guys did amazing...
Try to incorporate egg white too in your Hollandaise it will be more creamy...
Yeah I was a little concerned putting 8 tbsp of butter so I just did 5 lol
She didn't cook it either
pork was usually reserved for the winter, to survive the cold back in the day.
My fav American breakfast, is shrimp & grits with cheese, tomato, peppers, and onions. So good!
Yessss!!!! Someone from the south
I’m engaged to someone in the UK, and we always compare US and UK foods, and debate who’s is better.
We dont call "english muffins" rolls we call them muffins 💀
Nowhere near enough oil for the fried bread. That was grilled bread, not fried.
ooh, i love this!
That English breakfast on the thumbnail brought me here.. It looks incredible!
I live in California and I know that’s not a US breakfast
~pancakes or waffles with syrups and butter, maybe even with fruit or chocolate in it if you’re feeling frisky (you could even do biscuits and gravy, or breakfast tacos, bagels with cream cheese)
~bacon and sausage
~ eggs
~ fruit
~hash browns
~toast with butter and maybe jam
~ orange juice or coffee
~ fill that plate up!!
Seriously, how is that American so clueless to this? She's eating brunch for Breakfast it appears.
After watching this, I’ve never wanted an English breakfast so bad because I miss them :(
Who on earth puts lettuce and tomato with eggs Benedict , shocking
call the cops !
was thinking the same thing. That is NOT eggs benedict. And not only that, but eggs benedict isnt a traditional american breakfast. Thats like an occasional treat if you go out to eat, and its more like a brunch food.
someone should get the chair for this !
It's untraditional but I loved smoked salmon in place of peameal on eggs benedict. Or with caramelized onion and goats cheese. Sometimes non-traditional is tastier. 🤷♀️
@@daniellewinkelspecht8356 Its definitely a Sunday brunch food. Eggs Benedict with lobster in the sauce or crab is absolutely delicious.
This just made my day❤
Im from the UK and I'm pretty sure most people just have a few slices of toast or some ceral for breakfast. Who has the time to do a full english in the morning lol
No one calls it bangers u should explore south London man
Ok I’m sorry but British Breakfast is just ELITE
Nothing beats a full English for real

@T Erhhh weirdo
The moment the egg yolk broke I also had a moment of oops was that supposed to break? 😂
American here (in Cincinnati Ohio), about to cook myself breakfast. Today is bacon, eggs, French toast and sausage gravy over biscuits.. 🔥🔥🔥
Just wanted to say I live in England and we’re I live south London no one says bangers and usually just restaurant do the English breakfast but ngl dat breakfast slaps different
So... the hard part of the English breakfast is making all of this at the same time so that it's all hot and ready Lolol
That's why most larger US families have an electric griddle. It can put out all those things very fast. We like our eggs, bacon and hash browns OR pancakes and sausages! All yummy breakfasts.
Or french toast for 4-8 people! Maple bacon and sausage optional.
UMMMM Where was the cup of tea though???Criminally left out. *ELECTRIC CHAIR!!!*
People forget that, traditionally, if you have a full English breakfast you're not supposed to eat again until dinner.
Usually as brunch
do australia next!
9:33 sound effect
A full English breakfast is a Saturday job or at a cafe I’d have a square sausage and bacon bap maybe with beans but normally it’s got to be tea and toast
Both look really good .
Imagine if Americans actually ate that I just Cereal
never use butter to fry a full english it burns too easy you use either lard or any high temp oil like veg oil
@Ginger no your from America.
Nah no il needed, fry the bacon and sausage (they cook in their own fat) then egg in the pan after to cook in the oils yum :)

Black pudding is incredible... especially when you get them from a butchers or farm shop. Best part of a fry up/full English.
How dare you not chop the mushrooms
Full English over eggs bene any day!
Well thanks to you guys after watching your video I made a try at eggs benedict it was awesome. Thanks for the inspiration!!!!!!!
A full British breakfast is incomplete without a rainy day. And the neighbours dog just took a dump on your lawn.
Do you say tomayto or tomarto?
So many factual errors with these two :( Concepts that we've known for decades are wrong.
Fat isn't bad for you - the bread is worse. Getting your calories from fat is better than from carbohydrates.
The cholesterol in eggs isn't bad either.
Thank you! Finally some real food facts! 👍🏽
I must admit she did make a very nice looking Fry up.
It looks amazing ❤️😋 Also I am hungry now😅
“Cutting bread can’t be too hard” WELLLLLL apparently it can be, because you are doing it wrong. You use a fork to open an English muffin, not a knife.
Sausages are only called bangers when they’re paired with mash.
i agree 🙋🏻♀️
Omg truest thing ever
Every time Americans call them bangers I cringe

ngl that fry up looks bomb
Only a small amount of upper class Americans eat eggs Benedict. Why not a typical southern breakfast? Sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and either a small side of pancakes or grits?
You didn’t really show how you did the sauce hollandaise. Did you cook it over very low heat and such??? It looks like you just put whisked cold egg yolk with lemon juice (not even fresh one) over the untoasted muffin - yuk!!!
True. You have to be very careful making hollandaise sauce so it doesn't separate.
What about hash browns 😭😭
The best part of a runny yolk is dipping your toast in the yolk! I think making a egg muffin sandwich with crispy bacon and lettuce and tomato for breakfast would be so yummy! Crap, now I’m hungry! It’s nearly midnight and no one is still delivering anything. Ugh!
id say some classic american breakfasts are, biscuits and sausage gravy, cheese grits, eggs, toast, waffles, pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns
The footage from the eggs Benedict brunch doesn’t show poached eggs though
Does Tea count as breakfast?😂
American bacon is sliced pork belly. English bacon is loin which we Americans eat as pork chops/roast.
Not happy they didn’t put hash browns into the full English that’s the best part, literally my fave
@Ginger well I absolutely hate baked beans but hash browns are my favourite part of the breakfast 😂
That chopping board is amazing!

Hearing her say bangers in that voice for like the entire video even though that’s just a slight nickname 😐
dont they realise that we do call them sausages and we also have the option of streaky bacon too
0:54 Its only eight hours in some parts of the US, not the whole country. The UK is six hours ahead of me and I know it's just five hours ahead of people on the East Coast.
The UK is 2 hours behind me... East African time...
The Burundian Dude the uk is only 5 hours ahead of me
I'm a Chinese-Singaporean. My mom likes to serve baked beans in tomato sauce as a dish on its own, in the midst of our Chinese soups and rice and sometimes curry. I swear I am so confused.
My dad adds wasabi to everything lol
Has she tried cooking eggs in baked beans? It good. 😉
Black pudding is amazing , white pudding is included in an Irish fried breakfast , 👌
Part of the reason people eat a full English breakfast on a weekend is you're gonna need time to digest all of it, also it replenishes all that energy you lose working during the week, it's like refilling the gas tank. One of the best tips ever given to me was that if you are getting a cold or the flu, eat a big meal like this while you are still able and that gives your body max reserves to fight the infection, it boosts your immune system.
Blood sausage is common in my culture too but can’t really get into it. Just...no
I do not like blood sausages but blood pudding is delicious 😋 it doesn't have the bloody taste to it
