I got a Honda Pioneer 500 2 years ago for $7,500. Brand new. The thing can go absolutely anywhere. Narrower and therefore can go in between trees that larger ones could not. These side by sides are getting to the point to where you should just drive your truck instead of getting a SxS.

yeah I'd have to agree with you I had a heck of a time finding the one that I wanted with ride command. My dealer looked all over and found one six and a half hours away and made the trade for me. I predict this will be extremely popular once people absorb the pricing. You can't put a price tag on heat and air conditioning to get you out in the woods a ton more than you otherwise would have. I'm really looking forward to hitting one of my bucket list items and doing some mountain riding and that ride command will sure come in handy. Thanks for the overview. oh and not to mention the complete redesign of everything with this new 1000 model :-)

A guy we move cows with just got one of these. They are sweet, and I'm kinda hoping my dad will buy one of these instead of fixing our old 06 700.
I can’t wait for the other brands to get on page with the heat and a/c. I know it needs a regular windshield to keep the heat/cold in, but I’d like someone to figure a way to make it split so you could open it and be more in the elements if you choose

I’ll have to say I’ve never been a Polaris fan at all. But these 218/19 ranger 1000’s have really been redone nicely. Hopefully they’ve improved the quality and reliability of them. This northstar is very nice. They all cost too much. Even my pioneer 500 ( WHICH I LOVE!) cost to much. 10k ought to be the cap imo. Just to much money. Having said that IF I lived somewhere where I could register and tag a UTV for on road use and drive it to work etc I could see spending it. It looks to be a very nice unit. But not if Polaris hasn’t improved the quality and reliability.

why does the 2019 Ranger Crew Northstar not have the Ride Command ?? (I really question the thinking at Polaris sometimes) - so I can get ride command in a 2019 Ranger Northstar 1000 (3 seater), but not in a 2019 Ranger Northstar CREW?? (that makes ZERO sense)
