This drumcover is quite old however. I personally think that its terrible. I made a re-make of this drumcover, so check it out on my channel!

Emerson Alves yes, ghost notes are the little notes hes doing with his left hand on the snare during the verses at 00:40 . youre making a groove by controlling the bounce. by "in the pocket", i mean he gets into the same groove as the original drummer and playing along perfectly. in a regular band setting, in the pocket means everyone is meshing and playing together perfectly. hope that makes sense

Dude, I watched this like 9 years ago, just when I started playing the drumset and I was so blown away, like yoo how is that even possible. This video gave me motivation to get better and have a nice splashy playstyle. Nowadays, I am amazed by ..different things, obviously, but I'm so thankful that I watched it back then. :)

i’m performing this for school of rock in august so i was looking for drum covers so i could get a better idea of how it’s played in full, as well as get inspiration on how i can make up my own little parts - this cover in particular genuinely blew me away because while you were able to keep the base of the song the same, you also had your own little bits like how you sort of kept the verses rolling with your snare, and the hi-hats in the outro. it just felt so different yet the same to the original in a way that i love. everyone else does it amazingly, but this video for some reason is incredible to me. i just love how you made it your own without overdoing it which is very easy to do. thank you for the amazing inspiration

I don’t understand why some people are picky over a drummers kit set up. Yours is fine and think you have enough cymbals. The set up looks good and so long as you’re happy with what you have then keep banging away some good tunes
