I am truly fascinated by your experiments! So clever and we mortal humans would never think of something like that! Well done, please bring some more!!
Good Morning Aramalis’ Adventures: All for kids, You might be able to do it with out baking soda and vinegar, but I think it gives the smoke a place to float on top with carbon dioxide gas. I will have to try it without the baking soda and vinegar and see the different. thanks Ken
hi Sonamtashichoden-uz3wd, Yes you can do it without the baking soda. The baking soda is just to get it to shake it will look like a liquid, if you do it with out baking soda then the smoke will just go to the bottom of the glass. Check out my other video Smoke waterfall and you can see it without the baking soda. ua-cam.com/video/zTBnOx9IZls/v-deo.html Thanks Ken
Good Morning @maamjulie5298, By mixing baking soda and vinegar you make a reaction that produces carbon dioxide gas, which you know. The carbon dioxide gas settles on the bottom of the glass in an invisible layer. The smoke is lighter and sits on top of the Carbon dioxide and when you shake the glass which makes the smoke float. I hope this helps. thank Ken

Starting new years eve off right with one of your videos. Awesome job
As a teacher I love learning from you! Great video!
Good Morning Leonard Shea, Thank you. Love your channel also. Happy New Year! cheers Ken
Very cool! Love those chemical reactions!
I just saw this on an episode of Macgyver and had to learn how to do it 😆 awesome videos thanks
Good morning @ayndylou, lol I should have figured MacGyver did it. I love that show. Thanks for sharing. Thx Ken
Nice meeting on your channel. Your review was very interesting👍 I wish you all the best. Waiting for new videos😉
Why do you need the baking soda and the vinegar? I think I have tried it without them, and it worked as well. Simple and cool experiment!

Can we do this experiment without baking soda and only by using vinegar?

Very nice experiment
Thank you very much
You need more attention
Morning Onion, thank you very much.
May I ask how does the carbon dioxide affect the smoke and makes it float?

Can you cap the bottle and keep the smoke contained in there? Or will it explode?
Great question, but I have never tried. I assume you could. If you try let me know. Thanks Ken
