So would mixing Ferro Fluid with Glow Stick fluid make glowing Ferro Fluid?
WARNING! Toxicity level unknown!
Proceeds to plays with it
So, my friend got this gray dusty ferrofluid thingy inside his noise. He says it hurts, like a lot. And it keeps hurting. I don't know what to do.
@@Sh4dowbanned nurses : it’s only ferrofluid , walk it off.
You : *HOW?!*
8:39 when I first glanced at it I thought callie's hand was in the liquid nitrogen. 😱
get yourself someone that looks at you the way calli looks at ferro fluid
Not sure if anyone said it, and this probably will not be seen now, but ferrofluid on a magnet... in a vacuum chamber!
ferrofluid uses diesel as the fluid that suspends the nano-particles, it'll just boil off
They've already conducted this experiment. Collected data on ferrofluids ocilatory dynamics and producing a flux energy field for a conductivity through a magnetic coil, which was wrapped around the containment unit.
Toxicity level unknown.
Proceeds to get it all over body 😂
It has nano particles in it which are small enough to cross into your body, and some might even be small enough to cross the blood brain barrier
@@greenthizzle4 its decided then. if ever I were to want to commit suicide this is how I would do it.
get a huge loan from the bank. buy a gallon of the fluid, drink said fluid, then get an MRI.
the look on the doctor's face would be priceless.
What if you used a strong electro-magnet to clean the fluid off of other magnets, then turn off the magnetism.
Just put the stronger magnet behind a cup and it'll pull the fluid into the cup.
I feel like Nate’s solution to everything is “ Let’s dunk it in liquid nitrogen!”
The ferrofloid on plastic effect seems like an interesting idea for bearings.
"Toxicity levels: unknown"
*holds stuff in bare hands*
Its only a minor skin irritant and they had gloves on but why did she say 'Nate says No' ? WTF?
Any sentence that starts with “alright, we’ve made some sort of magnetic donut hockey puck” is a great sentence.
cover up a knife with ferro fluid, heat it like those 10000 degree knives, and then dip it in liquid nitrogen. the ultimate science "challenge"
@@teslacoil4335 Does that mean it'll explode or burn more? If it's the latter; can't you just put it out when you're done?
@@Emil_Stoltz itll burn, but the iron nano-particles will be released into the air and can be deposited into your lungs if you breath them in, plus itll smell bad
I'd love to see some more Ferrofluid stuff with an electro-magnet, and other things like that.
I'd also be interested to see how it freeze dries. I don't see it working in the cotton candy machine at all though.
2025: **And new reports have come out that say that the fun and magnetic liquid, ferrofluid, is actually severely toxic to the human body**
"I really want to drink this, ... Nate says no"
Wow way to ruin the fun Nate
Usually, it's the opposite, Calli doesn't want Nate to do something that he wants to do.
Me: watch I think Nate Nate likes you
Callie:wut
Nate: I like em like u
I like em small
REEEE
What if you made a magnet hydrophobic and used the ferrofluid on it, would it have a different reaction?
Toxicity level: Unknown
*Lets touch it with our bare hands*
@@marks7648 yes and when they didn't they weren't shoving the fluid in there mouths so they weren't affected by the toxicity.
@@catchara1496 yes for magnetic fluid getting it on your skin isnt bad unless it stains or ends up inside your body

Me: *So that’s how venom got his powers* 😶
TKOR, If you see this, how about a series of different tests with Ferrofluid:
Can you boil it?
What happens if you attach a magnet to a drill tip and spin it near the Ferrofluid ( in a container)?
Can you freeze dry it?
"Oh no! I love it!"
Callie 2019
Him: Very toxic.
Her: I wanna try it, but he said no....

Calli's enthusiasm and her sounds in this video were absolutely adorable! like that meowing sound or her "Wheeeee"
Also, if you make magnets way colder, they get stronger!

If you mix ferrofluid with pen ink, will you get magnetic ink?
Ferro fluid is Laser jet toner. It is really printer ink. The printer uses function to ionize particles of the ink with a laser beam. to create the image and. with high dry temperature
Jerry’s Mod, Ferro fluid is not jet toner. They may have similar properties, but they are not the same.
6:06 the background magnet dances too

“Oh no! Oh no I love it!” When she said that I started dying!😂🤣😂🤣
To not lose Ferrofluid cover you magnets with plastic/rubber.
For small magnets the easiest thing is to put then inside Latex Balloons.
@@salexd1723 That's what your parents did - used a balloon instead of a condom, and that's why you're here now. What a happy little accident :)
why don't you try ferrofluid in vacuum chamber and freeze dryer
and also burn, boil, freeze in liquid nitrogen and make slime. PLZZ TRY
Thank you for telling me what this stuff feels like. I always wondered if it felt pointy or not. :D
It is official. You all have the coolest job ever
You should use your rotating camera jig to film a levitating magnet covered in ferrofluid.
calli:"oh no,"
me:what happened (thinks she got ferro fluid on her)
calli:"oh no , i love it"
me :???
You should try experimenting with iron fillings and magnetic fields I’m sure it will be pretty cool!
I actually wanted ferro fluid for the 2018 Christmas
FUN FACT: Also, the makers of "Venom"- the movie, use ferro fluid for the character.
@@qwertyuiop6046 i think they used ferrofluid as a reference for the animation

What if someone drank it and you held a monster magnet near him
Nothing Because Organs Are blocking that
But i think you would get Sick if you drank that
Get a really strong magnet and when you want to recover the ferrofluid off a weaker magnet you can place it in a container and use the stronger magnet to pull it off through the wall of the container.
4:06
During this entire bit, I could only think of curling bombs from Splatoon
You should use your rotating camera jig to film a magnet coated in ferrofluid

If you mix ferrofluid with cuttlefish ink and or nail polish will you get magnetic nail polish?
can you mix ferrofluid with bubble soap to create magnetic bubbles
fire cat3748 no the magnet will pull the ferrofluid leaving water to run off.
What about magnetic powder? You could unlikely, but possibly, do that. The world is weird nowadays.

You should drip ferofluid onto a magnet, video-ing with your rotating camera rig.
try a stronger magnet or electromagnet in a sleeve (floor sweep magnet) for recovery. great vid
Can you do something with ferrofluid a magnet, copper and Eddy currents? Being able to visualize Eddy currents with ferrofluid would be amazing!
Does your profile pic work for something? Just curious and great ideas 😃👍
@@bandit6074 it actually does, unfortunately i totally forgot what it was lol.

Try to make cold fire now. That what Action Lab claims again.

Put chocolate syrup in liquid nitrogen or boil it and more stuff

Can you please try doing some more resin art or sculpting magnetic balls
Make a ferrofluid speaker that moves the flerrofluid to the beat of the song
If you've got it stuck to a magnet surely you can make a glas jar / plastic tube just so the magnet sits on it. Then use a strong magnet at the bottom to pull it off into the jar?
To get it off, you could try to put the dirty magnet in a container and put a stronger magnet outside the container to pull it off the original into a container. The container will prevent the ferrofluid from sticking to the new magnet. Just a suggestion/idea
Can you put this on a speaker because the speaker has a magnet in it and see if it will do something strange.
In the beginning of the the video, when they show the bottles of Ferrofluid, on the bottles it says "Do not use on audio appliances" Although I do think that would be cool to test
Welp, there go my afternoon plans
@Vision Gaming nothing happens since dry ice is entirely sublimated CO2. since CO2 contains no water, its effect should be zero .microwaves work by exciting and effectively heating the water molecules in food and liquid.

Experiment With Jello
- Does Jello burn
- Put Jello in a vacuum chamber
- Put Jello in liquid nitrogen
- Drop test it
Have you tried hearing the oil before mixing? Also would love to see black 3.0 paint mixed in as well, not sure if they have an oil based paint, would be a cool science experiment
Callie: WEEEEE! HE'S SO HAPPY! His name is Steve.
#25 at Trending! Congrats!
You should see how much ferrofluid you can get on a magnet.
the way to wash oiled base things is with some vegetable oil before you use dish soap. this also works with the oils from bike's chain.
It would be a cool desk pediment if you could get one to spin in a jar of sorts
Try reversing the magnetic polarisation!
And try putting liquid gallium into it!
I would love to get some of that stuff, make a funky shape and then seal it up in lamination to harden it in said shape
It’s 2020 that germs lesson is needed again
Could you get the ferrofluid off the magnet if you got a strainer and a put the magnet that had it on in the strainer and a stronger magnet underneath kinda just sucking it all in
I forgot to mention the stronger magnet under a bowl or cup or plat
Wow that was cool! Can you try putting it on a electro magnet and turning it off and on
That's awesome!😺
What would happen if you put donuts in a vacuum chamber
U better hope they did not use TMAH as a stabilizing agent... If so: Please go see a doc/toxicologist
Dawn dish soap for those hands. I use it when I've been working on the motorcycle or car engines. It gets the oil & grease off, then I follow up with Dial bar soap.
A suggestion to recover fluid.
Use a ziploc freezer bag and put the fluid covered magnet inside, use another magnet on the outside to attract fluid and pull covered magnet out collecting the fluid in the bag.
Put Ferro fluid in the vacuum chamber with a magnet
Or place magnet with Ferro fluid into a dynamic magnetic reverse field interpreter.
Me: seems cool
Ad:I have 450 pairs of shoes
Me: wtf
You guys should test out different methods of making ferro fluid
Also there is material saftey data sheets for ferrofluid which includes toxicity notes. Its non-toxic irritant according to the one I read.
Oh, man
When Nate says no to eating something it must be real bad!
Don't think so, ferrofluid is non-toxic since its a bunch of oils and very small metal particles.

@@iconoclast45 so it's a non toxic-toxic substance?
Because Nate mentions multiple times that this is a highly toxic substance, holding it bare handed could lead to poison like mercury if you held it bare handed. So if you ingested it, I'm very sure it would take some sort of negative toll on your health.
@@iconoclast45 it can be, it depends on the suspender and the magnet type
