4:25 it is a colligative property pf solutions called vapor pressure lowering, when the heated bottle is placed upside down and ice placed at the top of it, it changes the pressure inside of the bottle and makes a vacuum. That's why the water boils inside.. 😁😁
Sir vapour pressure lowering is when we mix a non volatile solute to the solution. He didnt do it. Its just boiling is the process when vapour pressure inside the container becomes equal to or higher than atmospheric pressure. And since he let it rest for 10 second after boiling making the vapour collect inside container and hence the inside pressure increases, while placing ice above the container decreased the outer atmospheric pressure. And they became equal very fast (even this will make inside vapour pressure higher than atmospheric pressure) and started to boil.
Is the ice absorbing the heat from the air inside the bottle which makes it have more density to be concentrated at an area away from the water which can make the water have a reduction in boiling point due to less air pressure on the water????

Would you consider leaving on 2 tables lamps with 2 different types of bulbs and seeing which lamp burns out first, how long it takes for each one, and why, a type of science experiment? .
The reason why it boils with the ice is because after putting on the cap the water is still at boiling temperature but the pressure build up inside prevents water from boiling. Adding the ice cube on top condenses the built up gasses and allows for more water to boil to replace the condensed water vapor.
A bit loose with the terms but more or less right. In fact the bottle was not boiling when the cap was placed, water is in equilibrium with the gas above at some high pressure. The ice cube lowers the pressure of that air, and water boils at a lower temperature when the air pressure above it is lower. I.e, water can boil at about 98C or even lower at high elevation for example. It also depends if the cap is sealed this time as it certainly wasn’t in the prior experiment at room temperature air was allowed to creep in from the cap.
I for example am not only intrigued but friggin' obsessed with it. So sad the winter is almost over here and it's shockingly mild. Not even single day of frost and snow, just some sleeting at best from time to time.
