The 1984 Mexican Spec Monte Carlo SS had a de-smogged 350 and a manual. If was faster than the Corvette that year. It was a one year car though. Also it used the Pontiac Grand Prix dash which looks better than the US Spec. They are very hard to find unmolested though.
Hello from France Randy. This Jaguar SV8 Portfolio (aka PFC8) is one of the rarest jaguar ever : 145 ex for USA and 110 for the rest of the world. I had one (new). MSRP was $130.000 in 2006. Her state though. Paint was crazy expensive at that time and single one of her aluminium front vents still cost $3500 because they are made in one billet and the same for the wheels. Later models are also called Portfolio but they are just regular X358, this one is a X350 very special.
The 4.7 dodge engine is actually pretty good, I have a 05 DAKOTA and never had a problem with it at all. Runs good, good gas mileage, and decent power .no oil problems like you said, they probably didn't service it well
Randy.., please buy the TT.. the following for these cars are massive in Europe! also the 3.2 is the best model, however not the most tuneable but with the money and investment.
My mom had a 4.7 Durango that she drove for 250,000 miles. She would go 10k miles before an oil change. That thing was still running and driving good when they donated it
Thank God I was glad to see you lost a bit on that Monte Carlo that thing was a disaster area once they've been buckled like that you can never get them straight and if you do it's going to cost you more than the car is worth.. now that Cadillac that looks like a nice vehicle I myself would like to get a hold of that unfortunately I am too far away
I am not even sure the scrappers will bid on that Ford Focus. Although it would be amazing video series to see that Focus brought back to life and looking new., something a high school shop class could do. The wrap on that Mustang looked awful.
Randy, that Monte Carlo SS tingled my BS senses. I don’t believe that’s a SS. Too many missing things on that, from the exterior to the interior. Don’t do it. Walk, no Run far far away!
Hey Randy Please fix up the 1982 400 Convertible these are super rare parts are cheap and the convertible was only made in 1982. Most of these were coupes and sedans but the 400 convertible didn't last past 1983 as the 600 replaced it. Please restore the 400 there was only 2779 made in 1982.Also you can have some fun and bolt a 2.2 or2.5L Turbo up to it and have a fun car on the cheap.
The TT could be an interesting restoration, pass on the Jaguar, the Durango is nice. I love blue vehicles and I think it is the diamond in the rough. The SS Monte Carlo is a gamble. Love those cars along with all the G bodies.
on that dodge Durango if it is 4x4 the 4x4 might not work do to the fact it has different size tires on it an u cant do that with a standard 4x4 it would wreck the transfer case so I would bet money the 4x4 is junk in it an its just 2 wheel drive now
Hey Randy. Can you please do something For me? I saw an Dodge caravan or Chrysler town and country. It was a 1998 or something. It was near that duango. Can you please check it out i would really appreciate it. I just can't i love vans
Hello friend Randy what if you one every low bid vehicle you had bid on , guess you'd be stuck with vehicles you may no have wanted ps- does that mean you have to buy those cars hope to hear back from you soon thanks
Actually that interior color is an actual SS interior color that came in black or white Monte SS’s. The cluster is correct for 87-88 model years. The TRUE way to tell is G in the VIN and the RPO sticker in the trunk will have the right option codes.
The monte says rebuilt so it's already a salvage. Hit hard RT rear, steering column, probably an engine. No way that thing will bring 5500. I just finished restoring my 87. I know how much parts are.
On the Durango, if the truck has been bouncing around to the auctions, how does it still have a pending title? Maybe that is why it didn't sell at the other auctions though. I would buy that truck for $1200 all day long. Put some tires on it and drive it. It is a 4X4 SUV and in this market, that is a steal.
Hi Randy: I like the TT. I would of liked to see the white Nissan Z. + The red Dodge Charger, i think it was . Only if they are not bad. Keep up the good work 👍 from Dave in Australia 🇦🇺.
The Monte Carlo has always been one of my favorites especially 73 to 77. I always liked the Cadillac SRX 04 to 09. Always thought they were nice looking.
Love gbody gm cars especially the monte Carlo I really want a 84-88 cl, LS but the only one I was able to get ahold of was a 88 Monte Carlo SS 350 5.7 th700r4 t top car,, and the only other one I could possibly get ahold of was a 86 Chevy Monte Carlo gm 3.8 229 Chevy v6 and was a cl with rough interior junk doors, bent up hood at the rear, and most of the interior trim missing except the dash cluster bezel and dash plaque both of which were broken and the kids that co owned the monte Carlo wanted my running driver very little rust ok both bottom of the doors from a 83 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme, and the matching parts car only missing a gas tank,a messed up left rear quarter panel, and the deck lid which I had but was going to swap out the one on my dad's limited edition 85 Buick Regal 5.0 305 Chevy V8 digital dash opera lights, deep tone dual exhaust and cannon exhaust tips lol car was black with red pinstripe same as the 86 Buick Regal sport coupe 5.0 Oldsmobile 307 roller cam v8 th200c working transmission on the parts car almost perfect interior car had 136k miles my car was a gm medium metallic grey and red pinstripe except the silver and maroon pinstripe cutlass doors, Oldsmobile 307 roller cam v8 b&m street master short tail th350 transmission and almost perfect interior except no headliner most of the fiberboard was still there but cracked by where the sun visors 139k, and the monte Carlo had 277k and had lifter tap but carried good oil pressure and didn't knock but I was absolutely not willing to trade both of those regal sport coupes for the 86 Chevy Monte Carlo cl 229 Chevy v6, was probably also a th200c..oh well
Randy; I remember one car, an Infiniti couple from a year or two back. Remember it, the car every dodge from Autozone all over it, with a huge Fartcan in th back. TK was with you that day.
Have you seen the show rust valley restorers on discovery channel. Mike is like you. Too many cars too fix and not wanting to sell them. Alot of nice muscle cars.
The TT was the diamond in the group. Wouldn't take much to fix either and a car I would be happy to own. I would be pissed if someone took advantage of me and put a 1000 miles on a car they were meant to sell, I would tell them they've just bought it. I could understand a 100 miles but that many means they were using it as a work horse and that is a shitty thing to do and worse when their selfish act costs you money.
I miss my monte..... I had a 78, and loved it...... unfortunately one winter, on icy roads, a tree jumped in front of it
that's awful
As a kid of the 80's and 90's, always wanted a Monte Carlo SS. Just wished they made it with the Corvette 350 and manual.
And i wish they made the Cadillac cien

Not worth it bro
Ss leaking gas from the filter to much cosmetic work

@@michaellang5519 and I can understand. This car in very bad condition
@@Lo_natilo_massages yeah the last owner did NOT take care of it smh
@@michaellang5519 Well, there was no key right?
👍👍👍👍
Mismatched tires on the Durango can take out the transfer case pretty fast.
The 4.7 dodge engine is actually pretty good, I have a 05 DAKOTA and never had a problem with it at all. Runs good, good gas mileage, and decent power .no oil problems like you said, they probably didn't service it well
I'm thinking that monte carlo SS is an LS with an SS front fascia. SS's didn't have tan interior.
Randy.., please buy the TT.. the following for these cars are massive in Europe! also the 3.2 is the best model, however not the most tuneable but with the money and investment.

Randys famous line "id drive it! Id drive the living heck outta it!" Buys it then sais "im not guna drive it, I really have no use for it" Lmao to😂😂
Those fuel filters on the Monty Carlo are known as widow makers because they ALL end up leaking and causing fires.

Lucky’s Wheels and Deals is looking for a G Body Monte Carlo especially an 87 model
Good point. I have a true 86 MC SS. I learned that a real SS has the letter "G" as the eighth digit in the vin number.
Run, sprint or fly from that pos mc
Hello from the lunchroom at school! My pals and I just got the notification! Ready to watch!
Had an 87 ,loved it 305ci great car back in early 90s paid for
love that monte carlo ss did the first time i saw one still do today

Wheel spacers always make me leary also
That TT is first car with DSG gearbox. It sold for 1700, but cheapest for sale in USA is for 6500
Good Coverage Randy, That Audi TT 3.2L VR6, R-Line, A Nice One Man, Lots Of Fun..

seeing that silverado in the back ground of 21:53 is sad i always wanted on of the newer year model.
Cadillac rear tailgate struts are worn out. Their supposed to do the lifting when opening.

I checked the Caravan on Copart website. The photos show no damage. Run and drive. It looks like it's sold.
@@Kirawolf1971 thank you For letting me know

That Audi has the 3.2 VR6, same engine as the R32. That engine goes for a good chunk of money!
Pretty sure that monte started life as a non-ss based on the interior.
Actually that interior color is an actual SS interior color that came in black or white Monte SS’s. The cluster is correct for 87-88 model years. The TRUE way to tell is G in the VIN and the RPO sticker in the trunk will have the right option codes.
The Dodge 4.7 engine wasn't bad . But you have to keep the oil clean. I've seen more than a few with over 200,000 miles come on the car lot .
Randy I remember the twin SRX vehicles, and it was a very wonderful video.
Hello friend Randy what do you do if you win every low ball bid on all the

Lucky wheels and deals is looking for a monte carlo too.
I'd buy the 4.7 drive train out of the Durango and they had lifter issues

After the swamp vett the old Monty SS doesn't seem like that big of a deal to fix, if the engine is ok.
Lucky is looking for another Monte Carlo SS but that might not be what he’s looking for. I think he wanted a T Top car
The trunk on that Monte Carlo SS is also misaligned
Bruh you don't put straight antifreeze in your radiator

Audi tt is a updated karrman ghia unofficially, once you see it.
Those Volkswagen VR6s are solid little 6 cylinders
The two-tone Mustang looks like a "leaving cars and coffee" accident. Lost control, hit something, got sideways into something square.

I love spell check, should have been Dodad.
That MC is not an SS it's an LS converted to an SS
Hey Randy as much as I like the Monte Carlo ss no way but the cadalliac is a WINNER 100% !!!!
Hmmm, Randy, please check that VIN from previous auctions. I’m wondering if this was way worse and was doctored up for a quick resale???
I dig the live bidding videos
I think the reason your fiancé said she wasn’t impressed by the Audi is because she probably likes the Hellcat more
That vr6 3.2 also has a 6 speed DSG gearbox
The focus is known for weak engine mounts my focus st took a light front end hit and the engine broke off all of its mounts
Drango i bet the transfer case is fried with the tires not matching.
The jag has a key. It's just stuck in the ignition.
Those SRXs get a bad rap… but you have proven even after being flooded they can still run and drive!

As a owner of 87 monte carlo ss. You should by it. These cars are going crazy on prices. Even for a piece of junk
The Lincoln has buttons for everything. Absolutely everything.
that is a vr6 engine with some factory upgrades! that is a fast engine and it sounds great!
The only Monte Carlo SS to have is the Mexican Spec 1984 model. It is so odd for me to see a Monte Carlo with that dash board.
Hello Randy how's it going
Love watching your videos i usually go for buy it now or non damaged videos, looking to change things up a bit and these videos help alot.
Caddie for sure. Focus is really fugley. 😎👍🇨🇦

That Focus should be in a museum
Hey Randy Lee Shear Of Auto Auction Rebuilds
Thank You Everyone Else
I ad a Monte Carlo when I was 19. Old beat up but I loved it.
Enjoyed the walk-around. That poor Monte Carlo is toast. It seems it's better as a parts car than trying to get back on the road. Shame really.
It would be nice for once, if you would buy a car like the TT, to see what it takes to make a car nice again.
Great video randy that tt looks like pretty easy to fix keep up the great work u do
Had a big block 1970 Monte Carlo
The Angry Mouse from TK garage was pretty funny but not has bad has the Ford focus
The white powdery substance was the coke in the back when the cops pit maneuvered the previous owner!
Wtf happens to the Ford Focus
I always smell the oil. Just me I guess. How I grew up. I'd definitely pass on the carlo. To many people have messed w it.
