That amount of froglets is insane, cant imagine how many work you have for sustaining them. I bred some dwarfclaw frogs lately so I kinda got an idea what it must take. Such a wonderful collection!
Holy crap dude you have a TON of tads!! I only have 1 breeding pair of Fine Spot leucs with 25 rads this season and I was very busy with them. I could not imagine taking care of everything you have! Props to you bud!!
Thanks, yea I currently have over 200 tadpoles and constantly more on the way, I will eventually raise the majority of them communally but as for now I like to keep an eye on certain projects by hand raising them individually.
I absolutely love your videos! I have no dart frogs but am planning on getting a pair or two (been planning for years :) However, if you are showing a tank and the frogs are not out, it would be nice to roll a video overlay of the frogs you are talking about (or even a photo) so we see what they look like. But, again I really enjoy your videos!
Thanks for the kind words, that's a good idea, some of the frogs I keep are camera shy lol but I could always put a photo of what they look like, I like the suggestion.
A few questions-how do you keep the viewing glass so clean?! Would you try doing a video over how you care/what you personally do prior to a froglet coming on land? I’m raising my tads communally (Santa isabells), but have you seem easier work on raising them separately?
The glass is not always that clean, I cleaned every tank before filming this. I raise my santa isabels communally as well and that seems to work well for me, they have too many tadpoles to raise individually. I may do a short video on when to move your froglets to land.
Great tour, on the next one could you please state sizes of the tanks and how many you keep in there etc. Also when talking sizes please dont use 10gal, 20gal etc, just actual dimensions in cm or inches.
Thanks, I'll try to go through and state sizes on the next tour and go through how many frogs I keep per tank, I'll probably state in gallons and inches that way people who prefer gallon sizes can also get an idea of the sizes of the tanks, I myself can picture size better if I am told gallon size rather than inches.
@@TCSDartFrogs Thanks, that would be a great help. Yeah I guess the thing with gallons is its only really used in the USA. So we don't ever see anything measured in gallons. Its always metric system, with usually inches in subtext.
Hi! I have a question. I really want to get my first dartfrogs, but since they requre such high humidity, my parents are really worried that mold will start to grow outside the tank, since i will be opening thier enclousure once a day, and therefore letting out humid air. How can I prevent mold from growing on my carpet, wooden floor and walls outside of the tank?
I use several different lights, I go over which ones I use in this video ua-cam.com/video/fpTXw0H44zg/v-deo.html links in the description for the strip light LEDs I get on Amazon
Thanks, I pieced together the misting system from hydroponics supply stores and Amazon, it is much cheaper than buying a commercial mist system made specifically for reptiles/amphibians. The pump is the most expensive part which usually runs about $90-$120
For my display tanks I prefer using Finnex Planted Plus24/7 LED lights, for all the other tanks I use cheap LEDs I bought on Amazon, there is a link to them in the description of my lighting video.
Just seeing all these froglets is so satisfying, absolutely amazing!
Hi, what an incredible collection ! Thanks for your videos and congratulations for this beautiful presentation !
Thank you for the kind words!

Thanks! Yes it is I definitely have my hands full.
a 17 year old powder blue! wow now that’s really something
Looks great!
thanks, still a lot of things I want to change

I found one of your bulls eyes! @ 1:18 in the left corner ;). You have ann amazing collection btw!
Yea I noticed that too, sometimes it's hard to spot the frogs when I'm trying to film LOL, good eye and thank you!
@@TCSDartFrogs eagle eyes ;)
Great video man! Let’s see some newts/salamanders added to this collection.
Thanks buddy! I'll try to include the newts in the next one but I don't think I'll be adding any more newts or salamanders to the collection.

Tank setups!
Great video... loved some of your plants, maybe a video on your plants could be interesting...
Thank you, good suggestion also, I could do a plant video showing some of my favorite interesting plants.

What is that terrestrial plant in middle of tank at 1:12. ? Very curious. Thanks for posting, and I have subscribed. Look forward to new videos.
It's a variety of ficus, bought at a local nursery labeled 'Island' ficus.
Fantastic tank's. What size tank would you recommend to get into the frog hobby?
Hey Travis. Where do you get the cork panels you use in your tanks? Any specks on them? Thanks.
Can you tell ma what is the name of the oak leafs on the backs of the vavariums, please? BTW beutiful setups.
Thanks! That plant is Ficus pumilia quercifolia, or oak leaf creeping fig, I sell it on my website if you are in the US and interested in some.
This ficus montana is amazing! How do you grow it in this size ? 😍
Just give it soil, light and time.
Are u gonna make a video on how u made those tanks with the hinges? From your June 2019 frog room tour?
I probably won't make a video on how I made those, I'm working on something that is more practical as I didn't like they way that those worked.
i am also interested in the way you use the cork sheets, do you have any information about them? like dimensions and type of cork?

@@YummiestOrphan I hear ya, I kept fish before I ever kept frogs and so gallons is what I've been used to from a young age.

Are those IKEA racks ?
I got all my racks at Costco
The frog room looks great , did you make the misting system on that rack of tanks?

Amazing collection. I’m pretty shocked of your amount of froglets!
Yeah I have a lot of pairs breeding so I do end up with many froglets
When do you eat?
haha, oh you know morning, noon, and night just like anyone else
Guess you must live on escaped fruit flies. 😛

If you want to see a frog pee, the most right frog, and the one that is the darkest blue peed on 5:22
O ma gat
Amazing room, how much would you say you make off selling your frogs thank you
I think you have too many frogs for 1 terrarium, u should Give them bigger space
