♦️Jimin mentioned that one of his fav movies “Like Crazy” he watched during pandemic, inspired parts of the song aside from the title of song. In the beginning as well as ending to the song, he even uses excerpt wordings, with voice over actors using dialogue more in tune with song, from it. Jimin has also said that many of the songs on the album convey what he was going through, his thoughts, his feelings, his emotions as well as despair & depression, during the pandemic in the last few yrs. He also was hoping that maybe it could help others by way of relating & going through similar difficulties during pandemic. So this song Like Crazy, could also be during that time, thinking back while laying his head down, on table in that depressing small room, dreaming of the better times in the past, when he was free to enjoy himself, as well as being with someone or with friends, or even around ppl in general, being able to be free to go out & party. Which is why he even said in the lyrics please don’t wake me up from this dream. I want to stay here.. Maybe, since dirt or mud means despair, that was what all the dirty grimyness including on his hands in the end, also represented, despair of situation, how he felt or how things were at that time, even when it seemed to even ooze into his dream state.

Jimin “Set Me Free Pt.2” was a pre-release that came first at the end of March last yr, then at the beginning of April was Jimin’s album FACE release along with the “Like Crazy” MV! On the album there is even an all english lyric version which I almost prefer with some change up in lyrics. All Jimin’s songs that he wrote lyrics, composed melody, & helped produce from his album FACE are musts to hear: ❣“Face Off” absolute fire, ❣“Alone” so deep & emotional, & ❣“Letter” (only on physical album) Jimin’s heartfelt letter to army, from his solo album FACE. Jimin wrote, as well as composed the music, also involved in production. Jimin even was the one that recorded ❣ “Interlude: Dive” which follows Face Off which is first sing on album! Jimin used his phone to record himself doing various things that go along with the background ethereal music in this short piece. I do recommend hearing the all ❣english ver of Like Crazy that I actually prefer. Which Jimin sung while performing Like Crazy on Fallon tonight show, which was shown the same day of the FACE album release as his debut performance as well as interview & hilarious skits he did with Fallon. Sadly most not safe to see on YT except the skits, possibly live, but not usually. 🔥❤🔥👍😍🐥🔥🔥

Wirh headphones you can puck up on all the background vocals that are so mesmerizing. I didn’t love this song on first listen but let me tell you this is a masterpiece that grabs you and won’t let go. It’s actually part of the Spotify billions club a year after its release. Still #1 on Spotify SK, longest charting korean song and still going. Jimin is too talented for the casual observer, his craft is a delicacy to be enjoyed and ravished over and over. I sound like a commercial lol but he has me obsessed ❤ thank you for appreciating his art so much!

There is also a safe to see ❣Stage Mix of “Like Crazy” by brilliant that I also recommend that’s excellently edited seamlessly for Like Crazy, from all Jimin performances but the audio is from Kbs which had best audio, but not safe to see! The audio from the kbs music bank performance had the best sound quality as well as loudest most spine-chilling fanchants, but kbs is the least safe out of all to see, but through stagemix happily parts of all performances are able to be seen, plus this stage mix is quite well made. Also the stage mixes from ❣Idol Studio, for Set Me Free Pt.2 even has Eng subs with cc turned on. Which I also recommend. Idol Studio also has for Like Crazy, but doesn’t show as many performances he did, though does have the cc for Eng subs. 🙏👍❤🔥🥰
