HOW TO HOP STEP IN 2K24! (XBOX AND PLAYSTATION)

In this video I explain how to hop step in NBA 2K24. The simple hop step has been dominant for years and can be used with any position. It is one of the easiest dribble moves in the game and it will continue to be a great move in the near future. You can rack up a lot of assists and easy layups or dunks with this move because it draws the defense into the paint, leaving other teammates open around the perimeter.

I hope this helps some people like me who just couldn’t get it. It’s not as simple as just 1 tap of the square button, yes the 1 tap initiates the move but you then have to press it again to finish the shot. Also you have to do your first press just outside the paint, this now works for me every time I hope it does for you too 👍

@@ItsJSansi he’s talking about either settings or controller settings.. you can toggle it to “absolute” or “relative” but since you’re not familiar then prolly absolute

IT DOES NOT FUCKING WORK. WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR ANYBODY TO EXPLAIN HOW TO DO THIS??? Even the directions 2k literally tells you don’t work. My guy will not ever fucking do this no matter what I do. I deserve to be able to do this move absolutely perfectly on every single attempt if you all you have to do is fucking press square but that is obviously not the case
