@@flacko9706most games will leave you in the dark as to where to go and what to do to progress in an efficient way. Most games will teach you the mechanics in great length even when some of them are not useful. 2k made an OP mechanic and just left people to discover it by themselves.
Idk about the guy standing between us and the rim explanation. For me, I’ve noticed as long as I have speed boosted or got a quick first step animation, then I get the big green window. However if I’m just running then it usually ends up small for the contested. My tip would be to speed boost into all your driving dunks. I have a 86% FG in the paint and I always use the meter dunk
I think bigs on offense and defense are great. The key for me is to have a higher perimeter on your big. I have a 6'10 with 80 perimeter and 92 strength. Being able to cut off your guy and stay in front is the most important thing for defense. If you can always stay between your man and the rim you are good.
I understand the logic and all but there are times where the defender is out side of the paint and the meter is as small as if they were standing under the basic. Doesn't make sense

Idk what your rating is but try David Robinson base with Sengun release. Put Sengun 60-70% and choose your 2nd preferred release. If you can’t use Robinson base, go with Powell base
When badge had said they buffed the dunk meter months back I made a 94 driving dunk build. I’ve been satisfied ever since. The games I can’t shoot or I’m delayed with my 88 3 ball I just run and dunk meter all game. I have a 92 ball handle so speed booster and blow by makes it so easy

Well my 6’11 got 93 driving dunk with a 89 vertical but this video help way more and I get every contact duck with a 93 and gold poster so I think 93 is the cap not 94

If they are between you and the basket it’s tiny every time. Now if you can bury them under the rim then it’s huge no matter where they are. If your right under the basket it should be huge but it is still 2k so it’ll mess up

I had a question, I went out and bought every single dunk I qualified for including dunk packages with NBA players names, do you think it’s detrimental to have them all thus confusing your player which ones to use? Or will the right ones come out since you own them all? I have a 94 dunk FYI

In addition to the up/down and down/up combo you can also double throw up and down too to trigger the contact dunk.

The dunk meter is still somewhat broken. Even when someone is not even that close in the paint the green window is still somewhat non existent
