The way you attached that z axis...*chefs kiss* genius!
Hi,
The design of the printer and placement of the components is very impressive but the extruder may melt the acrylic mounting and you should use two rails for the print bed for more stability.
Loved the video and editing👍👍👍
The acrylic is fine, although not the most rigid or durable material, it will not melt with a fan keeping the cold end of the hotend cooled.
The bed rail is common with most low cost ender 3 printers and is known to work. A second or wider rail would always be nice for faster print speeds but not necessary.
Yes! Finally video how to make a 3d Printer with no using glue
My creality ender 3 v2 has hot glued stuff in the mainboard thonk
Printer volume sun ke dil khush ho gaya 🙏🙏🎉🎉💕 😎
first one that didnt need a previous 3d printer that i might be able to buy the materials to make it, i have been thinking about how to reduce price (v rails are expensive where i live)and i got a few ideas, next time i get a week to gather info i will make the part list and buy it
for anyone who is asking about the measurment i made small digram and this is what i found
for the base and headbed
3*60 cm 2020 aluminium profile
3*40 cm 2020 aluminium profile
for the height go with what you like as it based on prefrece but you going to use 2040 aluminium profile so we can say 2*45 cm is going to be our best option and for the profile hodling the two togeather is going to be 44 cm 2020 aluminum profile and can use a 45 cm one but make sure the axis are at 90 degrees .
the lead screw needs to be 40 cm you going to need 2 of them for each motor
for the profile holding the hotend since the top one was 44 to 45 cm then 50 cm is the most logical size for it as there are going to be v wheels which from what i found they tend to be 2.3 to 2.5 cm in diameter and it is going to be a 2040 profile.
and thats it i hope i was able to help anyone who was trying to build it .
great idea.today i wanted order 5 pcb from jlcpcb, the price for the customer is astronomical , 2euros goes to jlcpcb,20 euros for the shipping company and 8euros tax.30 euros for 5pcb is way too expensive.
every time I see a tutorial in this video I never understand, because this video does not show the stages of the program. make video tutorials just to show off. try to make a detailed video, not only in detail on the assembly, but try to show the stages of programming so that the audience is not in vain .
Most of the parts are from tevo tarantula 3d printer.
The title should be upgrading tevo tarantula printer to dual z-axis
Yes, I was able to confirm it by watching a Tevo Tarantula assembly video.
Love the repurposing of the Tevo's parts though.
Did not like the use of wood, it adds errors to prints due to moisture expansion/contraction.
Good god man, this is an actual ender 3 level printer, and probably a heck'v a lot cheaper than my ender 3, which came disassembled so I had to build it from scratch regardless.
It's great job my friend . But what is the setting for marlin software Like setps and feed rate and Acc . You can plz tell what's it ?
Might be too late but Thomas Sandladerer (idk how to spell his name) has a GREAT video on it
Excellent job.
Would you like to mention the size details of the aluminum profiles and other parts?
I'm very thankful to you for your kind response.
20x20
i found them for the base is 40cm x 26cm
28 x 40
What about the body itself?
@@andresroyal6401
@@ahmedelbanhawy1just search the ender 3 profiles and there you have the measurments
Can you please provide the measurement of aluminium profile ?
I love this. I wonder how large you can make a printer with this method?
I think it can be more than 1 meter in every dimensions. There is a YT channel where a guyu builds a larger one, but with the same things - extrusions.
Can you give the size of the profiles you use in cm? Thank you.
Even I want
Probably standard 20mmx20mm
from where you got the all black brackets... why have you not listed in your description ?
Can you share the acrylic cut out design i also want to build
Those acrylic parts are of tevo tarantula 3d printer
brooo, im super pumped for this... im making one right away
bro did you make one, how did it go?
I want to know the dimensions of the base frame.. can I get the cad model file of the other parts like the head bed attachment n all?
Hey There! Good job!.
Do you have the measurements of the project? I want to build one too!
And explain in words the parts of everything that you are building because this is why I am watching this so I can build an 3d printer myself!
Please!
Do not print directly to print bed.. you will destroy it.. add painters tape, or some kind of print plate on top of it
there is a 2mm glass sheet on bed..
The best beginner friendly 3d printer tutorial
hey buddy if you consider the quality of your printer vs the creality ender 3 pro or the prusa printer . How good or bad your printer quality is ?
YO WHAT THE HELL THAT'S AWESOME!
what 20*20 and 20*40 size how much piece?
Was cheap for me...the 20*20 was listed as $60 + $380 shipping 🤣🤣🤣
O cara faz o vídeo não mostra as medidas dos perfis de alumínio. E ignora o pessoal que pergunta.
Can you please provide the measurements of the aluminium profile?
The design is pretty universal so you can do whatever you like. But for a reference use the dimensions from the ender 3. That's what his diy printer is based on.
Louchesjon thanks
20x20
Excellent project
2 wheels each side for X axis initially and later single wheel is visible after connecting z axis.
that's really simple and good design.. good job
Yep simple and scalable printer
you do not show all part ( how to buy ) , and your scene not enough far to view clearly.
Can you share specifications and dimensions you used?
Nice job could you please let me know what is the total cost ??
What is the total cost of the printer?
It's a great project but with the price the Chinese printers are getting and with good quality like ender 3, doesn't make sense to build this, for the price of the electronics kit I can buy an ender 3 😭
I would love to build one from scratch but doesn't make sense financially...
Plz make video firmware upload to ardiuno mthod and control 3d printer from pc. Or send detail any link in comments
@machine master you can search on google «how to burn marlin bootloader to arduino» and follow the steps you find. Then i think you can use USB to control it, but to find out for sure, after burning bootloader search «how to control Marlin printer from pc»
Sir can you add circuit digram and height, length aluminum bars
Love this video. YOu go step by step very clearly. Really great tutorial. Thanks soooo much :*
Where to get get all such items you shown in the video
Link provided in thr description
What is largest size of item that can print
Pls can you plz.. Give the measurements of the wood you cut... I need help here.. Plus the hole of lead screws
Can you share the wiring diagram and the software used for designing????
Bro add voice and caption mode also so that we can know the names of the parts.
I LOVED TO WATCH YOUR CHANNEL JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR CREATIVITY, AND HOW CAN I BUY THIS FROM YOU?
i hav issue in synchronising 2 Ymotors..both motors doesn't move synchronously.so the horizontal rod shows misalignment.i tried to rectify issue by connecting one nema17 steppermotor and connecting two threaded rods by belt drive. but again the shaft of motor runs, but didnt have sufficient torque to drive the belt and threaded rod assembly.plz give me a solution to rectify the issue
Thank You For the video , Its Most Helpful for me , can share dimensions for bracket and bed carriage
why didn't you use the v slot guides
Does an old PC's SMPS works, instead of this one?
In this video you have not given any code link in the description so I request you to make another video in which you give the code link in the description box and also so how to use 3D printing software
The firmware is called Marlin and can be found on GitHub. By "3D printing software," I am assuming you are referring to a slicer, which is out of the scope of this video.
6:15 YE BLACK COLOUR KA BOARD PLEASE TELL WHERE TO BUY THAT
Hi friend, how many rupees (money) you've been used to make this project ?
Boas amigo, poderia disponibilizar um gabarito com as medidas, e as configuracoes, unica medida que tem no video é a medida maior de 40cm.
um abraço e muito obrigado
Good Job!
Thats looks like the outcome of drunk prusa and ender 3.
Very nice project. Thank you sir
Awesome, i will build one too..
So informative, but practically buying a 3d printer is going to be cheaper than building it, unless if printed object size is matter 🤔
Yes, but you learn a lot more from building it.
This was amazing 🌹🌹🌹.
Any sheet of glass can resist heatbed temperature or no ?
Initially you showed right angled brackets at the lower end of y axis. Later it disappeared and you placed the motor anchors on one side. Explain it it correct it
Teria o desenho desse projeto pra disponibilizar?
really nice, can you send the link of the hot-end plate with pulleys
Mr Innovative your design has a few cool features. But it seems that you changed your gantry design without telling us. Because your gantry that you showed us in the beginning at ua-cam.com/video/LIS7aB0-xfc/v-deo.html was changed to ua-cam.com/video/LIS7aB0-xfc/v-deo.html (also seen at
ua-cam.com/video/LIS7aB0-xfc/v-deo.html ) You don't show us the finished product in full scale in the end of the video. If you communicate with the viewers it will be good for you in the long run as well. You do not openly discuss anything with the commenters. People want to build something like this, they want to know the pluses and minuses of this design and they want to improve it.
Which slicer software did you use?
Mr your design is fantastic I have watched your video like 5 times man kindly dimensions of the frames man thanks
Hello Sir, can you please add all the necessary components and also the code needed for the Android?
3d printers don't run on Android, this one is running on Marlin 1.1.9 any version higher than this would slow down processing on the 8-bit RAMPS board
@Moshe Gavriel Binkovitz i can make a BOM of all the components, just give me a day or two. I think i will go with the cheapest possible V slot extruded alu rods. I also noticed the electronics KIT listed in description costs 200 dollars, which is way above what you can get if not buying kit
This printer is controlled by a ATMEGA2560 microcontroller on an Arduino Mega, no Android involved.
Umm how do we give the shape to the printer to build it. mean what if I want to build a glass out of it, what should I do then?
With a slicer like Cura or SLIC3R.
You put a model (usually STL) into the slicer, it finds the best way to print it, then writes a gcode file that tells the printer where to go.
Hi there. I love it. Can you tell us how much it took you in total ?
Sir! what are the dimensions of wooden materials?
Excellent design and great video thank you, can you please provide names of the material or how I can find them(not the frame but all the ones connected to arduino board )
Main board: Ramps 1.4 Shield for arduino mega
Drivers: A4988 or DRV8825, silent options: TMC22XX, TMC21X0, and more
Power supply is 12 volts only.
Notes: define your stepper driver in Marlin.
End stops and motors are just generic, and the LCD is the RepRapDiscount smart controller
It would be better if Acyrlic plates cutout would be included
App malin ini bisakah buat cnc ruet dan sebaganya...????
Thanks ,how much does all the parts cost?
Find answers?
Hi, guy. At 7:47 where do you buy fixing plate? Can you give me link? Thank you very much.
Name of things you use ???
Perfect video 📹
What is the total cost ??
Some parts of the video are not in the description
Can you share the dimesions 3d printed and wooden parts you have used please I want to make a copy of this printer.
How long is the black colour extrusion? pls reply.
Is the RAMPS board able to lock the motors on powering down so the Z gantry does not crash into the bed?
no it will not
Beautiful build thanks for sharing.
Halo Mr. Innovative , may I know , what is the function of marlin firmware, is it enough for the machine to function ?, thanks for response , I am newbee in mechatronic
6:41 FROM WHERE TO BUY THEM THAT BLACK COLOURED SHEET PLEASE TELL BRO
Brother pls. explain the total measurement of 20x20 alu profile & 20x40 alu profile.
can anyone tell me what are the x,y,z carriage plates are made of?
Video that 3d printer manufacturers don't want you to see💀
Endstops?
Yup I was wondering if I missed something
it is there but missed in video...
It's very cool bro
kaha se DIY kaha se laie itna saman sir
You should never constrict Z rods like that. They're meant to turn unrestricted on the top.
That's a Ball bearing so they don't sway when the printer is moving
products are unavailable/nor are sent to Portugal in some cases.
Bro plzz make linear actuator using pulley and belt system
Whats the cost?
Where’d u get the acrylic parts?
I need automatic fish feed using audrino pls help me
It's great job brother, could provide a template with the measures, the site does not have this project yet.
Using Marlin 1.0.x in 2020 is not good practice. Even 1.1.9 would be better, not to mention 2.0.x.
WE CAN USE NORMAL PBC
