Welcome to Pairs Well With Knitting! I'm Jennifer and this is a knitting podcast where I invite you to join me as I travel, knit and pair all of my very favourite things together. Hello! What a fantastic podcast for today! Love, love , love all of your suggestions, inspirations, enthusiasm! I’m a newbie knitter and have progressed quite a bit. In fact, I have made 2 sweaters, 2 hats, and am now learning how to knit socks. As a new knitter, you know that not everything is perfect, and being a sponge I am soaking up as much as I can. So I have to say, I am proud to wear my creations! Biches and Buches sounds like a wonderful user friendly yarn. Can’t wait to try them out. Thought I had added a comment…. But gosh I didn’t push send. Love your outfits segment. Long ago I did use this yarn… breaks and was discouraged but my instructor just said keep knitting and lay one edge of new yarn over old yarn knit…and with blocking it will be all good. Think it still is ok! Happy Birthday!

Thanks, Andrea! It was a little silly, but fantastic. I knit with wooly wools all year round, so I wasn't fazed with guard hairs and palm trees.

I just saw my first Biche and Buche yarn at my LYS in Watkins Glen, New York, home of NASCAR here. I would enjoy knitting a cardigan from the book. I am in process of a huge life change in which my wardrobe is a part. Jewel toned wardrobe that is stylish. Not really been here before. Thank you for your enthusiasm and interest sharing of yarn and yarny goodness. It is definitely a treat.💚💚💚

@pairswellwithknitting absolutely. I have topaz/ruby on the needles with local indie dyed yarn, the Dustland sweater by Stephen West. And the greens with Patons Kroy sock yarn using a sweater pattern from a knitting magazine; I think from 1993.

Oh man! This was action packed. First off…I have been wanting to know how to knit those mitts since you first showed them. And in NOT following your new algorithm I have yarn picked out to use! I just can’t wait for the pattern. March 10th seems like forever now. Next, I love that posey. It reminds me of the renunculus a bit and I may just have to try it. I can’t wear the unsound next to my skin (but I am certainly going to try with the mitts) so the shirt pairings were smashing! I never win anything…but if I were to win it would save me from purchasing the book as it just looked beautiful and I want that in my hands now too. Thank you for another great episode.
