  • It's alive!!! Last on the road in 2015 or so, we recently brought this old Honda CB550 back to life. We still have more left to do, but it has come a long way. We'll have a more complete video of the whole process coming in the days ahead. Thanks for watching!

Looks great, I like the blacked out motor and those are killer pipes. I used to tune up the early Honda 750 fours back in the late 60's. I remember the first thing I did was make sure all carbs were opening up at the same time. then I hooked up 4 vacuum gauges, one to each carb, and set the air fuel mixtures. I know this bike doesn't have the same carbs on it but I know you will get it done. Love the color as well !!

Thanks, we appreciate that my friend! I have a carb sync kit, I just haven't gotten to that yet. I set them up statically to be as close as possible, but there is still always a bit of difference between them. Tomorrow, I'll get it all dialed in.

Cool little inline 4 screamer. I remember being in Italy in the early 80’s seeing all kinds of cool cafe racers.
