@@Spoons7414 my new grendel build is already so damn heavy with the scope I put on it, I can't afford the weight of a regular prs. They need to hurry it up with the lite version. They've got one month until they'll just change it to "late fall" and then spring 2022
PRS stocks are probably my favorite Magpul item. I bought my first one way back when the Gen 1 was introduced.
I’m building a new AR10 right now and was wanting a PRS but was dreading the hefty additional weight.....problem solved. 10 ounces is a lot of weight savings.
Yep that's about one Ruby Red Texas grapefruit of weight savings.

Awesome, just got an Aero M5 receiver set to build a 6.5 CM. Kinda wanted a PRS Gen 3 but didn't want to build a super heavy gun. This sounds perfect.
This is the final piece to mine ..it's in stock as I write this....
The PRS Gen3 is nice bought one for my AR10 308 WIN and it is heavy; also building another AR10 6.5CM and I am waiting for the PRS Lite!
@@genedydasco1077 if I were you I would get on magpul's notification list, you can also go to Brownells and get on their notification list and you can also go to opticsplanet and get on their notification list. They only had the black ones available but I'm guessing they're going to produce the fde and green also. I would have liked to pick up a green one but I have one on my 6.5 creedmoor build all I'm waiting for now is my accutax bipod and that b**** is ready to roll. Of course I need to figure out how to f****** zero my scope and make time for all that s*** but anyways good luck bro

The whole world is suffering because of post covid problems. Increased demands for polymers and resins are a big thing right now. The same polymers and resins that plastic manufacturers need, are in demand by paint companies as well. Then you have compounding issues with labor shortages, supply chain issues, and the list goes on.

Yes, the LOP does go from long to super long (13.85 to 15.25 inches), but if you're prone all the time, that's exactly what's needed. I don't got long arms, and I still pull out the telestock all the way when prone.

One huge set back with this stock is no one but Hickock 45 has a shoulder pocket long enough to use the recoil pad at any adjustment other than closed 🙁

Cool, but the PRS and UBRs are rifle length systems and this is a carbine so it's an apples to oranges issue.
I wonder if a rifle version is down the road...
