Oh...this! I have been doing most of what you offered in a clear and detailed tutorial, but wow...you are taking it to another level. Thank you...your philosophy and application..."wanting your eyeliner to work for you, not against you". Mission complete.
I’m a 80’s girl and haven’t wore makeup in a long time. I have watched this video numerous times and I finally got my eyes right. THANK YOU!!!! I love all your videos and watch them numerous times. I love your voice it isn’t high pitch, and is pleasant. I will venture on to the eyeshadow now. Thanks again!!!🤗
I’m in my late 40’s and truly am thankful for your time, effort, and money you spend on making these tutorials and showing the good, bad, and ugly using new products. I always watch your evaluation on a product if you have it before I buy it. I’m a mom to a very large family and never have time to just shop and play with products. But I still wanna wear makeup and feel as good as I can about myself. Thank you very much. I appreciate all you do.
The ipsy bag was a good way for me to try new products without spending a lot. I shut it off after about 6 months because I had a small stockpile. Or I bought full sizes of what I liked.
I frequently see women wearing black liner all around their eyes and it always ages them so much! In my opinion, it makes *most* women look older, and is more harsh and “hard” looking. I’m glad you did this video and I hope that people will try this tip. It look so good and much more fresh, bright and youthful! You explained everything so well, too. Great video, Angie!
I agree, the dark, thick eyeliner is harsh looking on many older women. I quite lining most of my lower lid a couple of years ago, it really made a difference in how my small eyes looked, now they don't look as small. Some of my friends have been doing their make-up the same way for 20-30 years including their thick kohl eyeliner and over-plucked eyebrows, and need to update -- but I'm not about to tell them! ha ha
Future SLP Women should be able to wear whatever they want. This is just makeup have fun with it, there are no rules. If someone wants rock black eyeliner all around their eyes more power to them. Whether it ages them or not that’s a matter of opinion. I’ll be rocking my black eyeliner until I die. I don’t follow these silly rules.
OMG such a difference. I showed the finished look (paused) to my husband and he said "wow what a difference!" As someone a bit older than you, but with similar coloring, I'm so grateful for these subtle but critical steps you're sharing! I have a wedding/family reunion coming up in July and have not seen these particular people in 10 years -- the 10 years (age 49-59) that my face has undergone a lot of gravity-related changes. My goal is to go to the weekend looking like I don't have a lot of makeup caked on but also looking my very best. Your tips will make all the difference for me. Thanks so much.
I actually love both looks on you. I think the "don't" is actually very pretty on you! I appreciate your tips. Eyeliner is always a struggle over here. xoxo
I am so happy that I came across your videos. I'm 41 and my face took a hard nose dive over the last few years. I have all of the issues you talk about in your videos. I gave up wearing most makeup and haven't done much for a long time. It just made everything look worse and made me even more self concious. I recently got botox and lip fillers and it helped so much. But it doesn't fix everything. You are the first person in my age range that does makeup videos and advice for older women. You are amazing and your videos are amazing and extremely helpful.
You can'T say "everyone over 45" ..it really much depends on how you are aging ..there are women in their 30s who might need this and some way over 40 who just don't
You were my first over 40 make up hero. And now I also love Dominic Sachse. Angie thank you so much for the affirmation that make up is just make up and NO MATTER OUR AGE we are allowed to play with it. 🥰 Also, this hooded-eye girl super appreciates you and your tutorials-and your flag-waving for sunscreen! 💕💖
You make an excellent point about adjusting makeup as our face changes. Back in the day I wore a similar look as your "don't" eye which was a "do" in the 1960's for me. Now it's definitely less is more, thinner gray liner vs heavier black. Unfortunately I wasn't blessed with thick dark lashes like my sister and brother so I still need good mascara (Jealous? Who, me? 😄).
Thanks Angie. I have learned so much from your lessons. You have the best techniques to make me look better. The methods are newer and look more current. I'm 67 and the product suggestions are tremendously helpful. No one has better tutorials. You put alot of work into this and we appreciate it.
You are so beautiful...I'm in my late 40's and I was starting to feel I should avoid make-up. However now I feel I can still look amazing with the correct technique. Thank you so much for that.
WOW! I was actually applying my eyeliner the DON'T way for years but since I have been aging (52) and my skin is sagging just a bit I have noticed that I look tired all the time. Even when I feel like I look good and feel good people would ask me if I was tired. After I saw this video and applied your techniques it has made such a difference. People don't ask me if I am tired all the time and I know I look more vibrant and awake. What a difference it makes to direct your eyeliner the right way. Thank you so much Angie. You are beautiful inside and out!
Brilliant! Your straight forward commentary is very refreshing. No "ums" and no extra drama. You come across as classy as your makeup does. I will be trying out your strategies asap! To add my 2 cents to these comments, I definitely prefer the "DO" eye. As you said, to each their own.
Thank you for this tutorial. I really enjoyed seeing how you press the wet dark color eyeshadow into the top of your lash line. You have many tutorials where you have shown this before but it really stood out to me in this one since you make the point to show the difference in the comparison. I have been using eye pencils and though I love the ones I use -- I make sure they are creamy and they glide on easily -- they still can skip at the lash line and I find I am trying to "draw" into the upper lash line to get the same effect as you did here with the wet eyeshadow pressed in with a brush. I am going to finally try this. I think my challenge is that I do not focus on my makeup and I default into my "routine" I have developed over years, and yes, you are so right, at our ages we need to be ready to adjust our methods. Also, I have tried your up-wing but it hasn't seemed quite right on me. I see now that it is because I am going to the end of the eye instead of stopping sooner to go up. A third tip I appreciate in this video is using the lighter color eyeliner for the lower inner half. This does have a dramatic eye opening effect. It all does make a difference. I notice a lot of comments love the "don't" look, but I'm with you, I am always trying to find ways to make my eyes look more open. My eye shape is similar to yours, almond shaped to begin with, so age now makes them look squinty, especially if I am smiling in pictures. Again, thank you Angie, for this specific tutorial! By the way, those earrings are stunning on you!
I’m 48 and still rock a cat eye on a daily using my Stila all day liquid eye liner, but basically your technique of the do side. I turn it up & get compliments. Thank you for your words on make up & your fabulous tips, tricks & the split comparison. Your are the best. 💕💕🎉🎉👋
I love the "do" eye. I haven't worn liner in over 20 years, so when I tried to I just tried doing it like I used to & realized it was not a good look for my 50 yr old eyes😄 Thank you!
I absolutely love your channel. I've been desperate for someone to teach me how to do my makeup now that I am 62. I especially have trouble with a crepe look on my lids. Some eyelid moisturizer helps. Currently, I know that if I stay on an anti-inflammatory diet, don't drink alcohol, and drink lots of water, I look fresher, but the makeup is necessary for my career. I discovered you in your video on how to look your best when having video meetings. I had lamps and books and all manner of things on my desk for an important meeting, and I looked straight at the camera, and I felt it helped. Thank you!!
I am in my 20s and don't have the drooping issues. However, this is better than the makeup videos by girls from my own generation. Genius! Thank you for making this!
This video shows it's really about HOW one applies the liner, not which type of liner one uses. I'm 56 and had always used the wet eyeshadow technique for my eyeliner and only recently started using liquid eyeliner and now I'm obsessed with liquid eyeliner in every color I can get my hands on. Thanks, Angie!
I’m giving a huge thanks Angie. I’ve always used eyeliner on my top and bottoms. I’m 61 now and I decided to not use black gel on my bottom lash line. It looked beautiful for my younger years but I’m thinking of toning down my makeup. You’re video gave me he confidence that I. Doing the right thing. 😊👍
I love the do side, it's how I have done mine for almost 20 years. I am 62, and stopped wearing it on the "don't" side in my 40's. I do like your tip for the lighter liner on the inside water line. I stopped wearing the dark, and never thought about wearing a lighter shade. Thank you.
I love the way you explained your eyeliner look. Thank you so much. You actually look good both ways but I can definitely see what you are talking about.😁
Great tip! Great video! Thanks a lot for sharing it , I used to apply eyeliner exactly as on the Don't side and it was terrible, I looked like I was about to cry. After watching this video I immediately took my makeup off, tried this tip and it worked! Such a big difference thank you, Angie
Not only did it look uplifted, but you looked happier and more friendly, if it makes sense. The other eye-look is harsher. Thank you for a really great tutorial. I have to practice more as I have so many lines around my 👁.
Hi Angie, great teaching video. I had been trying to learn where to put the pencil down for an uplifting look and you did just that! So thank you. I like that you didn't spend too much time talking and that you let the video show clearly what you were doing. Keep them coming!
You did an excellent job explaining that!! The "do" side looked so much fresher and lifted. I see women rimming their eyes the whole way around in thick black liner and although it can look pretty, it definitely makes the eyes look smaller, more deep-set and aged. I have given up on liner years ago for that reason. I will try this for sure!!
Love this video! When you’ve been doing it the “don’t” way, it’s hard to change but we have to adapt to our changing faces! Can you do a video that adds in the whole eye makeup that you’ve already applied in this video? That would really complete the look for me!
Very good tutorial. I'm 65 and been doing my eyes like this since I turned 59 and noticed my eyes were starting to drop a bit. Since then I've learned to make adjustments where I put my crease so my eyes don't appear to be so deep set. Which they never seemed to be until this last year. Boy oh boy aging is tricky and thank goodness for the tricks. I really enjoyed watching this.
Thank you for this tutorial. Too many people purposely do bad or exaggerated makeup to make this point. You demonstrated the differences while still doing real makeup. Thanks!
It's ALL great...thanks for helping us over 50! And also thank you so much for including the brand and color of the products you you use as you are using them!!
I am just newly into the aging stage and it’s weird. I will vouch for the DO side even though there are others saying they like both. When you start noticing aging in your own face the first thing to really seem to show it are the eyes and for a long time I couldn’t figure out why I was so tired looking! Turns out that’s the aging process, so while I can see why others don’t mind either side the DO side most definitely changes that eye to look more awake, and even if it’s mostly just my own reflection that sees the little change, I’m here for it! Thank you, I needed to find a way to look less tired and this will help!
Wowza this Video seems to have caused a bit of a polarizing atmosphere ROFL! I’m late to the party, nothing new there!! ❤️Here’s the thing (from someone that dabbles in the production of films, cable& theatre), Miss Angie’s features are picture perfect, so yes indeed both looks are going to incite a double take when she wears them! She’s a show stopper, period!! But for the rest of us, lighting & makeup technique are going to matter A LOT! In an artificially, lighted setting, makeup isn’t going to look the same as it would in daytime sunshine. I think the helpful lesson being shared is a LIGHTER, UNIVERSALLY FLATTERING version of what can otherwise become the dreaded heavy black liner on eyes over 50!Challenges of deep wrinkles, dry skin, puffiness, redness, problems using products due to skill level, problems using products due to sensitivity and allergen concerns!! THAT sort of eye with heavy black liner is to be discouraged, my fellow Angians!! So this is a way to have a stylishly shadowed & lined EYE, teaching in great detail how to do your own, UNIVERSALLY FLATTERING look, beautifully created with a LIGHT HAND!!!! P.S. What makes Angie’s videos so special to me is the lengths she goes to in order to visually involve her Viewers as she compares products....for instance, she shows how each sunscreen looks (cream, gel, lotion, matte, tinted, white cast, etc) then how quickly (or not lol) each sunscreen applies and absorbs on plain skin, THEN how well the sunscreen does with foundation being applied over the sunscreen.....and on and on!! It’s one thing to talk about the properties of a sunscreen and quite another to actually demonstrate all the differences! Her reviews have saved me $100’s and $100’s of dollars!!! Thank you Miss Angie!!
Love your videos! I'm so happy to finally see someone over 50 giving makeup tips and etc. I am 54 almost 55 and also have very hooded crepe loose eyelids. I've tried applying eyeliner both ways but just haven't had any luck yet. I have small eyes and I'm too sensative to tightline. I'll keep trying though. You certainly look beautiful! Hopefully some day I can get better at this makeup thing. Right now everything always looks the same and just blah. I also have such a hard time putting on eyeshadow because of my droopy hooded crepe eyelids. I guess I'm just going to have to watch your videos several times to see if I can get it any better.
I liked this so much, I got the right version done as permanent make-up. Just a subtle shading along the lashes and then a little hook at the end of the lashline - not the end of the eyelid. It really makes my hooded eyes look more awake and bright, a little mascara is all that's needed in addition on a daily basis.
Wow! I almost didn't bother to watch this, thinking "how much difference could it make?" but, wow! Thank you so much for your clear, concise, effective tutorials.
Yes! Me too! I use eye shadow and a push brush every day never thought to dip my brush in setting spray 1st... Also love the spraying in a little bowl idea. can't wait to try this tomorrow!!
Great tips!!! I have so many clients sit in my chair & tell me how they're "too old for eyeliner" or "black eyeliner is for young people." I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS show them exactly what you did by not using the liner all the way across & only the 1/3 on bottom. BOOM, they love liner again. I'll definitely add some of your tricks here to my next consultation!
I just started watching your videos. I’m 39 and love makeup but most youtubers are a diff generation than I am so a lot of the videos aren’t relevant to me. I never even thought to search for “mature” makeup, and just randomly stumbled onto one of your videos. I just have to say I’ve been watching your channel the last few days and I love all of your videos and find them all very relevant and informative. I’ve literally not once ever commented on a UA-cam video before but this one I had to because it’s genius!! Your eye looks so much more upturned by such a minor change! I was shocked. I’m excited to do my eye makeup again so I can try it out. Thanks for sharing this tip.
I know it’s not even the right video but I wanted to add I LOVED your anti-aging product video. I always want to start some sort of routine now that I’m just starting to see some fine lines, but there’s so much out there and I don’t want to pay a lot if it’s not worth it. Your video and information was well researched and explained in an easy to comprehend manner. I also appreciated you didn’t just present your favorite products. We all have our favorites too and I do like those type of videos too, but on a topic I don’t know much about I appreciated that you focused of active ingredients vs brand, and also included links to research. Your videos all seem like you put a lot of thought and research into them, so I just wanted to make sure you know that hasn’t gone unnoticed and I for one truly appreciate it and look forward to watching more. I signed up for curolgy using your link. I was intrigued and am a sucker for monthly delivery services, but mainly did because I loved your video so much I felt you should at reward for the work you clearly put in for that video. I know you won’t get much from that, you deserve more, but hey every little helps IMO. 🙌🥰
So happy to watch an instructional vid for mature eyes that’s done so professionally. Smart, solid advice and clear instructions. I love that you’re beautiful yet you don’t come across as arrogant or trying so hard to look sexy. Lol Thank you!!
At the 3:48 mark - where you use eyeshadow, that you dampen, for eyeliner - one thing I always use that works magnificently is Eye Drops. Just basic saline solution (CVS/Walgreens eyedrops). 1 drop into the palm of my hand or into a very tiny salt dish to dab my brush into - and there you go. Perfect... and also sterile.
Oh, I love this idea. I would have never thought of using eye drops. I had much rather use eye drops as opposed to the setting spray. Thank you so much for that tip.
bigskies4ewe yet your brush won’t be sterile, so therefore when you dip it into the saline drops those drops immediately become unsterile😂 Just save your money and use a couple of drops of tap water!!
Oh my Gosh!!! I tried it this morning and surprisingly it works!!! It looked strange and felt strange until I added the mascara and wow!!! I am totally blown away, thanks so much for this tip😍😍😍 I will have to practice a bit more, but really loving how lifted my eyes look.
Came across your posts whilst searching for a good concealer, you have given me some great tips, I am 50 next month, and really starting to notice a difference in my skin, my eyes, and my normal makeup routine. Thanks for the tips, will try this tomorrow. xx
Wonderful tips. I'll be trying them out today. Unfortunately at 71, any wings would have to travel through 3 or 4 creases, so I'll be skipping that part. 😉 Thanks Angie!
@@debbiegibson3604 I am 73 and have never been able to do "wings"! But now, of course, they would look ridiculous! But that was also the time for very heavy eyeliner and pinkish white lipstick :)
@Ann Goodman - I love your sense of humour, Anne!!! I can never get my wing to look right, now I know what to do - lots of practice, and not using a liquid liner!!!
I love my black winged liner and I agree, it is not a question of age, but of carefully adjusting it to your eye shape and the changes your face goes through. Very helpful!
I REALLY NEEDED THIS !!!!!!! I’m so happy I found you Angie!! Not only are you very informative but also very educated on skin care !!!!!!!!! Thank you !
I agree with many other of your viewers. Both look good on you. The "don't" eye is a puppy eye as opposed to cat eye. I think the puppy eye is youthful as well and since I have big, round eyes (cannot use eyeliner on bottom lashes at all), the puppy liner is a cute alternative. Maybe you could do a casual puppy eyeliner tutorial with no liner underneath?
Another wonderful educational tutorial ❤️ love these Angie helps me out with my 58 year young changing eyes. I always did the DONT side , not anymore gets depressing so your DO way helped sooo much! Thank you!! 💋💋
True. I thought the “down turned” eye looked much, much bigger than the other and would be a great evening look. I think if she just pulled up the outer corner a bit on top, best of both worlds for a more dramatic look.
Your instructions are excellent on how to lift the eye with your eyeliner. I agree with the comments re: that you look fabulous in both looks but appreciate that your tutorial has made it possible to choose and do either one really well. Thank you.
I do love the Do eye but if I do my wing like that, that up turned, it would not be smooth from all my wrinkles. I have to bring it more straight out with a slight up turn. I really like using eyeshadow for liner though.
Make up is rather amazing. Yes I see the 'do' eye is much more uplifted, than the 'don't', I'm not a fan personally of drawing into the water lines, though, it's too close to my eyes.
I love your suggestions! So happy I found your page... I'm 46 and starting to see the need to change my routine...I have a very similar face as yours... and eyes. Your page is so helpful. Thank you! I've already placed a few orders for some of these products thanks to you
with all the comments below I am surprised...how can they not see the difference? Bigger is not always better.... lifted and youthful is what you showed us and you are stunningly beautiful!! Great video! I will be trying this in the morning :)
Leah, wear what makes you happy. I'd add, as someone who always rocked a smokey eye look. The moment I crossed the Rubicon (aka, turned 50) into Menopause, dark, heavily-lined eyes are aging and not a flattering look on me. I want to look youthful and refreshed. To each their own. If you love it, wear it.
As I said in the video, there's nothing wrong with the "don't" side... it does make the eye look bigger and is a look anyone can wear, but it's also a look everyone already knows how to do. This video is about showing the difference eyeliner technique can make to help older eyes look more lifted... the "do" side definitely lifts while the "don't" side pulls the eye down.
LOVE!!!!! 💗 My eye area is becoming more and more challenging as the years go by including vision along with skin issues. I am 53 myself and I completely get all the issues we face daily. It’s not pretty....sadly. We must do what we can to make ourselves comfortable both naked and in makeup. Always appreciate your informative and very helpful videos. You are a beautiful and sexy lady naturally!! Thankful for you being here! You are a favorite you tube channel for many years, I suppose since your beginning in 2012! Keep rocking Miss Angie!! 😘
I loved both eyes actually! Droopy eye corner is not necessarily a sign of age. I think droopy outer corner is sexy in a puppy-innocent kind a way. Marilyn Monroe had a very droopy corner and her eye gaze is everything!!! You don't need a "cat eye" to have sexy eyes!
I read somewhere that the droopy outer corner and then puffy under eyes are something some people want to achieve to look cute and child like. Different tastes, it seems.
Doctor Anne are you serious? I have droopy outer eyes and puffy under eyes and I hate it, mostly because I couldn’t do the wing, but of course, I was doing it the wrong way, I’ll try the new tip tomorrow 😃
I have been looking for someone in my age range that likes their make up the way I do. My face is changing so it's nice to see tricks that work! Absolutley going to watch more of your videos. I also like that you don't break the bank with all your cosmetics. Of course there are a few things that will cost you more but your assortment of different brands looks like my make up bag aka "box." Thanks again and you look great mami!
Thanks Angie! This really helps me . I have made a lot of mistakes with my eye makeup. I am 51 and my mature eyes appreciate all your help. I am definitely going to try this. Thanks again!😀
Hi Angie. This is a brilliant video. I need all the help I can get. I wear liquid eyeliner. I’m going to try it yr way. Sending you sunshine from Oz 😊🌞🌺
Very well done Angie. The black liner on the don’t eye seems a look that women in their 50s do...must hav3 been a look in our early makeup years. The don’t eye looks hard and harsh and over done and not flattering to anyone really while the do eye looks classy, well applied abs skilled application and age appropriate. Thank you for this.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I turned 50 this year and never quite know how to apply eyeliner - but now I do!! I love the "do" side and am going to try it today.
Another great video. 😂 I'm sorry, but I have never been a "wing" girl. I always thought that was just a little bit too much, however, I have ALWAYS lined the insides of my eyes, and you are the only person I have ever known who does that. I even had the bottom insides of my eyes tattooed black a long time ago and while it has faded a little, it still does the job. My eyes are blue, and it makes a big difference in my appearance. I have tried lighter colors, but black still works better for me (I am now 60). I have to say, that you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen, so no matter what you do to your eyes, they are absolutely gorgeous. From what little I can see of you, they are by far, your most amazing feature.
Oh...this! I have been doing most of what you offered in a clear and detailed tutorial, but wow...you are taking it to another level. Thank you...your philosophy and application..."wanting your eyeliner to work for you, not against you". Mission complete.
Angie, you are totally spot on. Less eye drama perhaps but a fresh, clean, youthful look that is complete and beautiful.
Yes, I love the clean and fresh look it really does make you look more youthful!

Incredible! I am doing it all wrong and cant wait to try your tips!! Thank you so much!
This is the best explanation of where to put the wing that I have ever seen. Thank you so much!
Best. Eyeliner. Video. EVER. Thank you. I have never in my life been able to do eyeliner on my top lid properly. Now I do.
Excellent tip! Thank you
Also your skin is AMAZING
Both look great on you! You can pull off whatever look you want!
I like the do side best. I'm 64 and love the setting spray with the powdered shadow tip. You always look fantastic. Hugs to you!! Deb :-)
FINALLY ..ZOOMED IN.. DETAILS EXPLAINED.. NOT DRAGGED ON FOR 7 MIN ABOUT NOTHING.. AND CAN REALLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE.... NAILED IT GREAT JOB TYVM
I have oily eye lids and have a hard time finding a liner that stays put, great tip on using the setting spray! I definitely give that a try.
Renee Hobson also maybe setting the eyelid with some transition shade eyeshadow or translucent powder I’ve found helps
Thank you for this tutorial. Too many people purposely do bad or exaggerated makeup to make this point. You demonstrated the differences while still doing real makeup. Thanks!
I like the don't look. It is beautiful on you!
It's ALL great...thanks for helping us over 50! And also thank you so much for including the brand and color of the products you you use as you are using them!!
Very subtle tweeking, like using powder instead of liner & where you place liner! 👍
I just tried this and it really makes my eyes like lifted! Thank you
I liked both the looks!
I really like the mature magnification example of your open eye look and not made harsh but , pleasant and more natural final look.
Omg I’m so excited to learn from you! My friend told me about you! I’m 35 and need some skin tips!
Huge difference! Thank you for sharing I can tell this will take lots of practice 😁 but seems so worth the effort!
Wow! I almost didn't bother to watch this, thinking "how much difference could it make?" but, wow! Thank you so much for your clear, concise, effective tutorials.
Loved the setting spray with eye shadow tip. Thanks much much
This is a great tip!!
Yes!
Thanks Angie for detailed instructions!!!!! thanks Jennifer 😄👍 ❤️
I have been wearing eyeliner forever and now that I am 59 this was great advice! Thank you so much!
Well eyeshadow smudges very easily so using a setting spray would help stop smudging. 🤷🏻♀️
bigskies4ewe yet your brush won’t be sterile, so therefore when you dip it into the saline drops those drops immediately become unsterile😂 Just save your money and use a couple of drops of tap water!!
This was SO helpful! I subscribed! Thank you! I have hooded eyelids, so I can do a beautiful shadow job, but you don’t usually see it!
I'm 71, too, and know what you mean! I remember in the 60's when I would draw wings. It's funny that they're back in style.
@@debbiegibson3604 I am 73 and have never been able to do "wings"! But now, of course, they would look ridiculous! But that was also the time for very heavy eyeliner and pinkish white lipstick :)
Ann Goodman at 54, that's a big ditto for me !
I wore Helen Neushafer pinkish white lipstick!@@trisha3338
@Ann Goodman - I love your sense of humour, Anne!!! I can never get my wing to look right, now I know what to do - lots of practice, and not using a liquid liner!!!
I love my black winged liner and I agree, it is not a question of age, but of carefully adjusting it to your eye shape and the changes your face goes through. Very helpful!
The looking down tip was something new and I will totally be using it. Thanks!
I REALLY NEEDED THIS !!!!!!!
I’m so happy I found you Angie!! Not only are you very informative but also very educated on skin care !!!!!!!!! Thank you !
Hi Angie: We love your channel! You make doing make-up look so easy! We are trying to update our make up by following your tutorials. Ma'am Talks
Angie I use lash boost serum with black shadow and it kills two birds with one stone. I adore your videos and your expertise. You're the best!
I so agree!! I think the don't eye looks bigger and beautiful!! Both are good.
Another wonderful educational tutorial ❤️ love these Angie helps me out with my 58 year young changing eyes. I always did the DONT side , not anymore gets depressing so your DO way helped sooo much! Thank you!! 💋💋
Angie- I actually think both look very pretty on you- the "don't" side is a dramatic evening look.
Now that is very helpful to this very mature woman. Thanks
I agree they both look good
I agree too
True. I thought the “down turned” eye looked much, much bigger than the other and would be a great evening look. I think if she just pulled up the outer corner a bit on top, best of both worlds for a more dramatic look.
Agree too..both looked good 💕
Your instructions are excellent on how to lift the eye with your eyeliner.
‘Once you get to be over a certain age,’ as you say...it does make a difference! Thanks!
Make up is rather amazing. Yes I see the 'do' eye is much more uplifted, than the 'don't', I'm not a fan personally of drawing into the water lines, though, it's too close to my eyes.
Yeah I can’t. I mean, I can, but it comes off even when it’s not supposed to. I got pretty good at drawing right on the lash line.
I love your suggestions! So happy I found your page... I'm 46 and starting to see the need to change my routine...I have a very similar face as yours... and eyes. Your page is so helpful. Thank you! I've already placed a few orders for some of these products thanks to you
Great tips! I love how tight-lining looks - I wish it didn't irritate the heck out of my eyes!
Try Stila smudge proof eyeliner. I love it and it glides on. Never irritates. Hope it works.
with all the comments below I am surprised...how can they not see the difference? Bigger is not always better.... lifted and youthful is what you showed us and you are stunningly beautiful!! Great video! I will be trying this in the morning :)
I thought this looked like a night look and a day look. 😆
I actually prefer the don’t side 🤷🏼♀️ 🙈 😁
HotandFlashy ♥️🤗👍🏼
Leah Rouse me too!! ;)
Leah Rouse me too!
I like both the down-turned look (looks very sympathetic) and the upturned. Nice video.
Yes yes!! Great comparison! Love all the tips - gorgeous as always. Thanks Angie!
Finally someone who shows a great way to make a easy wing for mature eyes
I’m 35 and have dealt with small deep set eyes and tried everything but this was seriously the most helpful! Thank you
I loved both eyes actually!
@@DoctorAnne Oh that's a huge trend in Asia right now. They literally draw their eyeliner down and draw an undereye bag.
I agree! I have hooded, down turned eyes and I prefer the puppy eyes look. It makes me sad that most beauty UA-camrs think hooded eyes are “bad.”
@@starminoui I agree
Doctor Anne are you serious? I have droopy outer eyes and puffy under eyes and I hate it, mostly because I couldn’t do the wing, but of course, I was doing it the wrong way, I’ll try the new tip tomorrow 😃
I love the idea of the brightening liner. It really opened up your eyes! Thank you for your amazing tutorial!
I actually thought the “don’t” side looked nicer. It looked brighter and the under eye looked more polished. Love your videos!
I did too ! I felt like the do side made her eye look lopsided
I actually like both of them...
So many people said that, I'm starting to think its 50/50 split! :)
Me too.
I like both of them too!
Irina Kurachenkova very
Thanks Angie!
Great tips. My eyes aren’t quite ageing yet, but I do have hereditary hooded eyes, so this might help with the appearance of those, thank you x
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I turned 50 this year and never quite know how to apply eyeliner - but now I do!! I love the "do" side and am going to try it today.
Angie I'd love to see a tutorial for do and don't to apply eyeshadow for hoods.
Donna Ford : Also check out Sugar Puff & Fluff - she has a recent awesome video on that technique for hooded eyes.
Angie, I kind of like the heavy liner on you, at least from a distance. Just two different looks!
I liked the idea of using black on the upper lash line and gray on the lower lash line. Thank you for the tutorial
