The no chunky shoe rule contradicts with Trinny rules. This girl doesn’t have bad style but Trinny is an expert and in terms of balance in style I’ll give this one to Trinny
I prefer chunky shoes with most of my wide leg palazzo pants. Most of them are what's called "full length" by some brands. Sure I have long legs but I'm still 5'4" so unless I wear chunky shoes I'll be walking all over them. I do own heels. But they're not always practical for the occasion. While chunky sneakers or chunky loafers are.
To each their own. It might look frumpy when you do it but not when someone else does it. The same applies with the shoes, it's all about personal preference and what is comfortable to the one wearing it. It's not necessarily a DON'T . Also, I believe one looks the way they feel. If you feel frumpy, you will look frumpy. If you feel lovely in the fit, you will look lovely.
Just wear what makes you comfortable and makes you feel good...whats the pressure of looking good all the time. This is prime example of societal conditioning
The chunky sandals look a million times better and actually balance the outfit. The dainty shoes look out of place, like weird little stumpy feet emerging out of nowhere 😬
I agree too 100% I wear a loose shirt with wide leg pant with my chunky espadrilles and this way too much better than less chunky ones cuz I tried all kinds of shoes to see shauch one looks better and oh boi the chunky one bagged the prized.
This, and also some of us are a shoe size that only gets chunky and not "dainty" shoes manufactured. I'm a size 12 in women's shoes, I usually will just wear mens shoes because they actually fit me and don't hurt like hell.
exactly, it balances the outfit. if you're going to wear wide leg pants the chunky shoes and sandals evens it out. the dainty shoes don't, it makes the feet smaller and out of proportion.
This was really helpful info! I've 65 and going on a cruise this July to Alaska. Currently I have a pair of what I think are palazzo pants that only come just below my knee that are black nylon. They are very comfy and complement my 'pear shape' especially when I wear a fitted top with a gauzy button down shirt unbuttoned but still fitted. I notice your pant legs are shorter than normal. I"m 5'5'' and my inseam is 26 inches. If I get more wide leg pants please give your advice regarding 'just below the knee' pants, pants being a couple of inches shorter than usual or pants being floor length in the palazzo style! Thanks~
never letting go of chunky shoes bro especially if the pants pool a bit over ur feet,, if it feels too bottom heavy wear a hat or an interesting hairstyle
chunky sandals and shoes works for me when I'm wearing wide leg pants. those dainty sandals/pointy shoes don't because of my cankles and since I have thick legs. wearing dainty footwear makes it look awkward, so it's not for everyone, it depends on the body type-it's not one fits all, imo.
That style of sleeveless blouse follows the same "theme" along with the palazzo pants..a very classy and "continental " look! I love how the look of having the cut of the sleeve expose more of the top of the shoulder is so flattering The "shoulders " showing more in women's dresses and blouses in this way are, (IMO) , one of the most attractive and sexy ways to add style and sophistication to an are of a woman's body that is undervalued and underappreciated...the shoulders on women are very sexy and show a classy side without being exposed blatantly as attention grabbing elements.
i'm super clumsy and hate high heeled shoes, plus they are bad for my legs and back. and all I have are Clark's cloudsteppers sandals.... and I can't do too tight shirts. and I can rock the Frumpy Look. as people compliment my pants. and I don't have Palazzo pants, I have the Barcelona pants from Earthbound trading Co.
INFORMATION FOR WOMEN WHO CARE. (Othodox community ) This is the first time I've seen wide leg pants styled correctly! They are styled to look and flow LIKE a skirt! And not dragging on the ground. The underlying message for this fashion sense is to give deference to your husband or male partner, whom you respect, who in turn DOES NOT want your lower "curvatures" revealed to the public. ( There are serious weirdos who study and copy female shapes. ) For the upper body, show you are indeed a woman wearing a figure hugging or couture top, shirt or blouse without necessarily revealing skin. With modifications, wide leg pants emanate from uniforms used for martial arts; aikido and kendo specifically.
Welp. I have zero of those things so I guess my palazzo pants are getting returned 😭. If I was cute and skinny I think it would’ve been ok. I wish these pants weren’t marketed to us plus size gals.
Ik this is a weird question but anytime I tuck in my shirt or wear a tight one everyone can always see where my bra is. Does anyone know how to avoid this happening.
I have a tall stylish friend and she would ROCK a flowy big shirt and palazzo pants and look very chic. I am 5'3 and would look frumpy and dumpy. I think it's all about one's personal style and frame. I have no doubt you look fab!
She never wants us to wear chunky shoes with any outfit
Probably short skirt
Maybe chunk sandals are Not the way to go 😅
Chunky shoes are not for everyone. I think you’ve got to have longer legs to pull off that style.
Just wear em with cargo pants and you got the ultimate Alt outfit

@@paulamolinamirmy exact thought!
Not me actually preferring the sandals to them shoes 😅
Me to lol
To be honest it didn't look bad
idk like i get wanting contrast but there is nothing wrong with chunky shoe+ wide pant. They both look good!

You couldn’t have said it better Busi👏🏾👌🏾
oversize with wide leg pants looks good on NO ONE lol

Those pointy, slingback heels are fab

All this is good. How does a huge shirt like that tuck so easily without weird lines showing on pants for all these influencers?
Probably shapewear 🤷
honestly, never been a problem for me?
I have to do the taller chunky sandals bc I’m short 😅 but I DO pair my palazzo’s with a tighter fitting top.
She works with herself, i love my chunky sandals and platforms.
Your advice looks a million times better. 😊
No way! Those Birkenstocks look awesome with those pants!
Sharp! You can really see the difference 🎉🎉
What is the brand of your pants so pretty

Where what makes you feel comfortable ..create your own style always.
Wear what you like with a beautiful personality.
I like your Palazzo pants. ❤ Brand and link to buy the clothes you wear would be helpful.😊
She doesn’t answer!
I want to know what pants those are -- love them!
Me too!
I love wearing oversize shirt and pallazo just like the first outfit .. i hate tucking it inside .. i feel comfortable & stylish the way it is..
Thank I use to do this mistakes. Now is clear. Thanks a lot
I ONLY wear my pallazo trousers with chunky sandals. ..cus thats what suits me 😊

That's actually a great tip
I could've never thought about balancing legs/shoes with my head 🤯🤯🤯
youtube just asked me to rate your comment. that was weird
Where are these pants from!??

Love a bottom heavy look !!!

wow the difference between the sandals and the neutral shoes were insane.
I guess the same tips could apply to skirts, since I'm a dress and skirt person.
Love chunky sandals for that though hihihi

I love these videos!!
I love big chunky shoes with wide pants & a tight fitted shirt.
Chunky sandal looks better to me…. Pointy/sandal looks old😅(a 40yrs old would do that)

What if you're not 100 lbs? Does this still work?
This kind of advice is worth what you pay for it. Wear what you feel attractive in. Try on some outfits and see what combinations YOU like.
Yes, as long as everything fits properly. Larger wonen look great in pallozzo pants. Shoes or boots should have nice heel.
Wht is the name of this 👖
Link??
What earrings are you wearing here?
The pants need to just skim the floor. They are too short.
Sorry girl, i love how you look, but shirts not tucked in looks so much better and fresh
What pants are they?
Should plus size girls wear those pants? I feel like they make me look bigger
Damn you're good!
idol 😍😍😍
I'm sorry but no! We all look different in things! It's what suits us as individuals
Ik this is a weird question but anytime I tuck in my shirt or wear a tight one everyone can always see where my bra is. Does anyone know how to avoid this happening.
And wear them so they come down a smidge past your heel, or so they stop just past your knee.
I like palazzo pants almost touching the ground - these ones look too short
Where are the trousers from?
chunky shoes are a big no for me too! with literally every outfit
“Don’t wear oversized tops with palazzo pants”
Me: committing the crime anyway because I want to be comfortable 😭
How do we save shorts?
May I ask where you got these pants?
They’re linked here! rstyle.me/cz-n/gm984kch8sf
Some women are belly heavy and these tips don’t work for them. Tucking in shirts inside pants makes us look frumpier.
Where you i can buy that pants 👖
payaso pants Spanish for clown pants 😂 That’s what it sounded like.
Those pants make me look like an Oompa Loompa no matter what shoes or tops I try. They're just not meant for 5'4"and 180 & up.
Cute

Everyone will still judge u. So wear what y u like

I love the way u style but I literally want u to wear suitable makeup on face
Omg your foundation is way too orange🍊. I'm sorry but please get a beige , it is so distracting.
WOMEN!
Don’t wear them. Removes all those rules...
All I see is the weird makeup. Very distracting
I can't take advices from people who don't bother to learn how to actually say "palazzo".
Or don’t wear them ever!
I hate those Pants.. Do nothing for your legs😮
booooo I wear my big shirt with my palazzo pants and don’t look frumpy
That’s what u think, but not what others see 🤷♀️
@@aeriz85 Stay insecure about how others perceive you I guess ♥️
