Even when out in the car I like to wake up and take my time, with a gentle start to the day. Sort out the day ahead in my head. What am I going to do, and what am I not going to do.

You look great at 75 ! Good advice. This comes at a good time for me since I am trying to come to grips with whether or not I should make a major life change at 72 . Follow my heart or logic?? I agree ! How annoying that people try to tell us what I should be doing when they have no understanding of my life. I actually resent such tiresome advice from ‘friends’ no matter how well meaning. ❤x

I am totally with you on this. I feel that I am constantly being led into how I should feel, act, and what I can and can not say. It's as though everything I have learned through my 64 years has to be unlearned and questioned..we are living through some very strange times and I can fully understand why so many people are now struggling with day to day life.
People are indeed struggling. They are withdrawing into themselves. It shows up when they comment on social media platforms. They lash out at anybody who dares to think differently to them. They are patronising without them even realising it. Anger has reached epidemic proportions. This behaviour is all down to fear peddling from Governments, who are on a path to opening borders and a one world globalisation plan. People need to start saying no, I do not comply, I will not go along with that. They need to wake up and take back their lives.

Some of the responses, even to the most balanced of viewpoints, are so offensive and aggressive that it can be quite frightening 🫣.. And from some of the responses to your post today, you can see why communities are breaking down because people (including me) are self protecting by keeping a distance from other people..the fresh air from our beautiful countryside has never been more needed .

I think we have all made mistakes with bad decisions in the past. As long as we learn from it, that's ok. We are all human. I see critical thinking as a long term function. Looking further than the nose on your face, and asking questions along the way.
I sometimes wonder if those in charge are deliberately trying to sow division and dissension amongst us to make it easier to push mad policies on us. I think they want us to be less neighbourly, communal and respectful to each other as it makes it easier to gradually exclude different members of the population. Society has become very polarised and I guess the best way to resist that is not going along with these divisive tactics that are creeping into all aspects of life.
:) and how many times people tell you what to do or what you "should be doing" but they have no idea what they are doing with their own lives? :) It's just their opinion, sometimes not a very concerned opinion, easier said than done. You are the one living with the consequences so :P just do whatever you want!

Hi Ilona, your like me, a thinker, sometimes it drives me mad😂. My heart hasn't ruled me for years, as I've got older I've got harder, I love being older you don't care as much😂. You will live to be 100 lady, as long as you keep clear of the nhs😉
Hi Ilona, Yes, I definitely get out into nature asap every morning. This morning, I watched my cats chase and almost catch a squirrel. Fifteen minutes in nature sets the world right for me. I'm 74 and just can't believe it! I am so thankful not to have to work or deal with office politics. My office is a backyard or local park full of birds. One of my neighbors is a birder. He's one of the top 10 in our county. Yesterday, on his walk less than a mile from my house, he spotted 42 varieties of birds behind a school and next to the Ohio River. Hey, have a happy day, whatever you do.
