Don’t ever apologize for your birds. They were here long before we were. I love hearing the chirps and squeals lol. Gotta love our furry and feathered friends!
Paper dying with your typical "reckless abandon"! - Who knew? Fun in a small space with a squirt bottle and instant coffee...hmmn what could go wrong Lol. This sure saves on oven time and gets great results. Love what you bring Pam! Creation keeps us sane right now.
Your song gave me a smile this morning. I greatly enjoy watching you create. I'm a precision person so it's hard for me to create in the carefree way you seem to do it. - "under leakage" is hard for me b/c of my precision crafting. I'm a bit jealous of your stencil collections. -- I honestly MUST try this. Thank you for sharing w me. ~ Bonnie
Was so thrilled when I seen you pull out the gold metal stencils!!! I have a gazillion of them that a lady 'threw' in on a purchase I made from her and I had no earthly idea what I was going to do with them all! Now I know!!!! Thank you so much. I thoroughly enjoy your channel and Holly does NOT bother me in the least. I love listening to him :) Have a great day and thank you for all you do to show us how to journal with fun!
OMG! Heather! Hi!!! You are amazing!! Can I get your autograph!!! :) I made so many caulked laces from cake decoration molds!! You are so darn inventive!! Everyone! Listen up!! This lady is the MacGyver of all things crafty!!! Be sure to check out her channel and prepare to have your minds blown! :)
Well that was fun! I wasn't in a very good mood. Sluggish. Got into coffee dying paper. Had a blast. Even the so called bad ones turned out great. Thanks Pam and parrots!
Pammy Pants.....LOL! Great video. This seems so much easier than dipping. My pages disintegrated when I did it. Will definitely try this. TFS. Stay in and stay healthy, all.
Thank you Pam. This is a fun idea. I don't have many stencils but will try this with what I have. I just love to hear your birdies. I would love to see Holly dance and would like to just squeeze him. That probably is not a good idea for a parrot though. Thank you for the time you spend sharing.
😂😂 “I’m not comin’ out...” “I’ve tried to find his off button...” 😂😂 I love your birds! “Underleakage..” 😂 “Bueller...” 😂😂😂 now I have to go watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off!!😂😂 This method of coffee dying paper is a superb idea. You not only share wonderful ideas but making us laugh a good healthy laugh is the best gift someone can give in these trying times. Thank you for that and for setting me up with a fun “shelter in place” day of crafting and a movie.
Awww. Holly sounds so pretty. Always sounds like you’re in a forest & just get those piercing peeps & chirps that ring across the forest. You should catch some of his songs & dancing on video & add them to your videos like Sonny’s cameos
I'm revisiting this video because I will be trying this method today. I have the perfect combination of dry Idaho heat, stacks of paper wanting to be dyed, and plenty of time on my hands. It's a perfect summer day! TFS!
Have been tea-dying for a long time..Am going to buy some coffee cause I don't drink it. Just got interested in junk journaling after Christmas. Haven't made a hard cover journal yet, but that is my goal. After watching this, I could just spit and scream about ALL the stencils I donated (plastic, brass, freezer paper, etc) when I moved into this tiny apt. 3 yrs. ago!!!!!! Used to have a house with a stamping, sewing room😢😤😠. Here, I don't have a livingrm, but a craft room. Hey, I have my priorities! Thanks for the ideas!
These would be so nice to print on. I used food coloring on paper and it comes out nice. Waiting for warm days so I could dye more papers. I’m missing my shopping days in the thrift store. I went stencil crazy, good thing I kept them, using them for JJ. 👍🌼🌼🌼
I have a Cricut die cutting machine and I have a great idea of making some stencils with it. The options of stencils are endless with what you can make. So glad I saw this.i use those cake dyes to color sugar for making cotton candy. They work great. I bet you could just mix them with water and do this with it.
Pam thanks so much for this! I am considered an "essential" so I still am going to work. I coffee dyed paper the other night for some stress relief after listening to your podcast! Thanks for inspiring us to keep creating during these crazy times.
thank you Pam by the way your bird is an angel you should try to do a video with mine in the same room lol he will not let you record not even one word his vocabulary is huge and when he runs out of words he just makes new one by combining 2 words he knows.
I like the bird noises. Then again, I have 2 parrots, so noisiness is a way of life in my house. I wouldn't know what to do in a silent house! Our parrots are our boys, and like children, can be downright obnoxious when they choose to be, but worth every destructive, ear-piercing moment. I love this technique. Very cool.
I will definitely be trying this technique. You set it up and spray it once and get 2-4 sheets out of it. That is a good use of my time. It also dries more quickly than when it is soaked in the dye/coffee. Thanks so much.
Japanese lanterns. My favorite fall flower....As.a little girl I would walk through the old Victorian gardens that came with the house that I parents purchased. I can still see the layouts of the hostas....daffodils....rose arbor....peonies....some lady or gent must have been so proud of this garden.....but sadly....Mom or Dad couldn't be bothered with the upkeep and had a lawn put in.....good grief....When we built our home years ago....we planted all the flowers I remembered from those gardens....down to the weedy forsythia....time goes by....we sold our home. Every once in a while I will say to my husband, "let's drive by the house". 22 years of love and tending and those gardens are no longer. Gardens take a lot of work....a lot of love....but...funny thing....I can (in my mind's eye) remember where I planted every last flower and bulb and bush. Thank goodness for memories....too bad I can't have the recall of the fragrance. of even the smell of the fresh dug earth. All that from your query about the name of the flower on your stencil. See ya!
Hi Pam, I'd just finished tidying up after I'd been experimenting with my stamps when I tuned in to your channel. I thought hey that looks cool so I got my stencils and sprays and crafted along with you 😁 its been great fun 😁 TYFS 🌷 stay safe 😍
Oh my gosh! This is awesome! Love that you get 2 prints out of one spritz! Love how the edges came out too! Also love your song - made me giggle. Now on to video 2!
Thank you so much for the laughter....love to hear you giggle, and I love your birds! You have so many good ideas. Just enjoy sharing with you in this “no fun quarantine.”
I’ve been watching your videos, Pam and enjoying every one. This is a fabulous technique and I can’t wait to try it. I’ve already made my very first junk journal cover thanks to your videos. Thank you and best wishes to you. Ps, I love to hear your parrot chatting to you. 🦜
You and your birds are a burst of sunshine in this scary world! But I'm cursing you for the song as I can't stop singing it now! Love the simplicity of this technique. I have a load of metal stencils that were my mum's that I've never used so got to go and try this out. Tfs x
Our African Grey (who is now enjoying herself in an aviary with other parrots and is in love) used to have buttered toast with hot tea and sugar for breakfast. Mum sitting on the chair while Cleo drank, head on one side, the tea. When she had had enough she would grab the spoon and throw the rest over Mum. That is one of her daily tricks😁
PammyPants, I could listen to you and TwitterPants all day long every day. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I am going to try the spray bottle method this weekend. Keep singing and crafting! ❤️🍌🦜
I got a deal on the resume paper at Walmart for 3$ I got 4 boxes 100 sheets each. Normal price is 13.90 per box. Works super with metallic paints. Feels like fabric . Love it.
Pam this is fun. I love watching you because I sometimes get down in the dumps and I love all your cute things you say. You seem happy so much. Ruth Koster. I still dont have the newsletter.
As always, totally enjoyed watching and listening to "Mama Bear" LOL!!! It took some time...but I finally found the DIY for the ink sprays! YAY!! I have coffee and walnut stain so I'm ready to make some cool papers!...sInce I'm also "not comin' out"... LOL! thanks for video! Love it!
HELLO Holly and oh Hi Pam, LOL. It's really nice to hear some joy for a change. Hope you and yours are doing well. Take care and God bless you and yours. Okay, now I can watch the videos. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas

Fun way to color papers; I really like your collection of stencils. Awesome! The brass ones are embossing stencils, which were popular in the '90s, I think--before Sizzix started the machine craze. I love the stencils, though, and would grab any of them I could find. Love this, thanks for sharing; take care!
So I'm a year late here, but I fell upon your video just as I'm paper dyeing. Love youd ideas, Pam! And Holly's screeches definitely add to the fun. Mx
Pam, just Stumbled on this “U-Tube Video” WOW, I Know Three Years Later … but Awesome❣️. I Have learned a lot … Love the Ideas ❤️❤️❤️
Love your song! I’m not coming out, I’m staying home. Made me smile.
Don’t ever apologize for your birds. They were here long before we were. I love hearing the chirps and squeals lol. Gotta love our furry and feathered friends!
I’ve enjoyed dying paper with you and listening to Holly and the Lovies. It seems Holly was so, so happy that you were close to her in your kitchen. 🥰
With these directions I feel like I can actually try to coffee dye paper now, thanks Pam!
Whaaaaat, you mean there are ppl that actually CLEAN their stencils!?!? lol
Beautiful and easy :) 💜

Hi Mark or Bonnie! Happy you like it! :) Pam :) !!

Thank you Pam. This is a fun idea. I don't have many stencils but will try this with what I have. I just love to hear your birdies. I would love to see Holly dance and would like to just squeeze him. That probably is not a good idea for a parrot though. Thank you for the time you spend sharing.

Hi Jane Cottonaro! So happy to hear you are having fun! :) That means so much! :)

Yes,! Thank goodness you kept them!! :) Lots fun to be had with stencils!

Pam thanks so much for this! I am considered an "essential" so I still am going to work. I coffee dyed paper the other night for some stress relief after listening to your podcast! Thanks for inspiring us to keep creating during these crazy times.
I am long since considered "essential" but I have been tea staining paper for my destress trying to survive this pandemic. 🙃😁🙃
I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ keeps you and covers you, also that all is well with you. I can imagine how stressful that is GOD BLESS YOU TRULY

Ah!! You get me!!:) I have no baseboards left! :)
Hey a new way to clean your stencils, I try to clean as I go, but if I am using it I clean when I am done, thank for sharing this great idea.

Fun way to color papers; I really like your collection of stencils. Awesome! The brass ones are embossing stencils, which were popular in the '90s, I think--before Sizzix started the machine craze.
