Awesome video and the slugs are definitely taking out the rabbits and the doves. Very accurate shooting and I'd say that you have it dialed in where the slugs performed excellent.
Good shots there Lee. Thanks for vid. I commented before on another vid. You are using the standard superior liner with the slug power kit. I have been trying a few different pellets and slugs but my setup is a standard M3 sniper (700mm barrel and standard pin probe etc) my best grouping so far is using Air Arm field heavy 18gr pellets at 950-960fps out of 25gr knock outs, 25gr monster redesigns, bisley magnums 22gr (pretty good) Jumbo heavy 18gr, fx hybrid 22gr. Also have H&N sample pack but yet to try. Want something with good bc and hitting power. From research the slugs all carry their energy further distances. I haven’t touched the reg pressures yet. First reg is about 145b second is about 90b power wheel on 12 and fine adjuster on 3. 4.5 lines on other adjuster. If you are getting good results with the slugs you are using would like to try them. Where do you get your slugs and what are they exactly?? Thanks.
Hi mate thanks for watching ! The slugs I use are Slug Specialist 29gr . The lighter 25 gr ones are brilliant too. It’s all down to tuning your rifle to the projectile . Some projectiles simply don’t like your barrel and you soon get an idea of if it’s worth persisting with .
I didn’t see you change the POA from 30 to 117 yds (no hold over or under), how did you achieve that? Are you using a series of profiles for different distances?
Hi no I have input all my ballistic data that I have worked out in the field . Now when I range the target the reticle will adjust for me to compensate for the drop.
Awesome video mate 👍spot on love the glasses I need a pair myself great shooting good eating rabbit for the pot I like how you have your gun setup I have mine on a high reg pressure like first reg is at 200 bar sec reg at 165 bar that's pretty high but I'm able to shoot 34 gr varmint knockers 218 and 34 gr javelin at 1000fps plus fps and also the 30 gr nsa I just have to back off the hst a bit the m3 is so versatile I guess that's why I'm always reaching for that gun every time I go outside to shoot pest or animals to eat thanks for sharing bsafe buddy 👍
Hey Chris , thanks for watching it’s much appreciated! The glasses are helping with the headaches so it’s a matter of needs and musts . I appreciate the kind words though makes me feel a bit better about them 😆 are you running the slug powerkit with one or two spacers for the heavier slugs ? I have been experimenting so much lately I decided to settle on this for the time being and actually enjoy some hunting for a change . I have a new crown just sat in the cabinet because I just can’t not pick the impact up. As you say it’s so versatile! All the best to you and family 👊
@@airriflehunter87 yes power slug kit with both spacers and light spring no rubber ball both fx impact m3 22 cal 700mm and the fx impact mk2 25 cal 700mm 25 cal has a heavier hammer weight tho 8 grams
Great shooting… you need to reset the scope to zero/neutral and wear your glasses when you shoot. You adjusted your scope for your eyes, your camera does not need glasses (thus blurry)

More hassle than they’re worth to be honest . Crashing , freezing . Won’t turn on . Avoid

Yeah they have a new model coming out soon . Built in rangefinder / IR and better screen so let’s see if that’s got better firmware .

Thanks, but where do you get these slugs from? I have searched but couldn’t find them? Are they Nielson brand?
Thanks.
