Total professional! Excellent review, always a pleasure to watch your videos. I have the mk2 177, after using a friends m3, I wouldn’t say it was much better, although speaking to some of the FAC guys at my club they do say it’s better for FAC. But from a sub12 perspective I don’t think it’s worth the extra hand out.

Plain and simple, the gun shoots great and is exceptional at (U.K.) longer ranges. We all knew that, but FX have the Mk4 now tugging at our purse strings, what mods will the Mk5 contain ? There will always be another upgrade and another YT vid to make. Thank you Sherriff.
From the vids I have watched the big seller for the Mk3 seems to be the ability to adjust the power and tune for slugs and pellets In a sub 12, I think I would just stick with the JSB heavy on max power For the FAC versions, it would be nice to have one rifle setup useful for both indoor ratting and rabbits in the field In terms of accuracy, I have an unregulated FAC Airarms 510 and it shoots better than I can I think I would rather spend my money on a thermal spotter Love your channel

You can bye the new mk3 cocking levers I’ve just fitted it to my mk2 definitely worth doing as far purchasing a mk 3 defo in FAC but not sub 12 great shooting and video 👍
Do all sub 12 M3s have a smaller plenum? I’m not positive at the moment, memory isn’t great , but I thought they had the 720 plenum. Maybe sub 12 doesn’t need a big plenum.🤷♂️ Nice shooting gun for sure.

@@pontypoolpestcontrol I should have added/mentioned that I was referring to FAC versions that take a lot more pressure abuse than sub 12 guns. That makes a difference as far as durability since they don't run at the same pressures as FAC guns. Your MK I has done you well and will continue to should you deice to stay with it. :-)
That's a nice magazine. The ones that come with the M3 are SHIT and move around too much. So much to the point where the plunger will not load another round if you accidently bump it. I've got to contact FX USA and see what they recommend about this magazine issue. I bought an M3 2 weeks ago and it's nice however there are 2 problems I've found so far. 1.) Magazine has piss poor tolerances. 2.) the valve adjuster was not thought out correctly for the 500mm barrels because you can not loosen it far enough out like you can on the 600, 700 or 800 mm barrels because it bottoms out on the barrel shroud. Other than those 2 things it's really good. I bought the 500mm compact m3 .25 cal with a 580cc 300bar bottle and put a donnyfl koi on it. I get a ton of shots and it's a laser, 1 ragged hole, out to 75 yards which is as far as I've gotten to shoot it so far. The one thing I've noticed with 300 bar guns now though. Filling them with a 4500 PSI 90 tank is damn near useless. I get 1 complete fill. So I find it more useful to just air it up with my Yong Heng every time. Which brings to to believe that I might want to purchase another 580cc 300bar buddy bottle for it for the field. oh yea and one other thing. the extend foster quick connect fitting that came with the gun leaks. I purchased a extended treaded type from UTAH Air Guns. I could only fill the gun up to 250 bar because of the leaking quick disconnect at first.

Fx Impact 🤔 good shot count 👍 judging by reviews seems accurate 👍 expensive 🤔 Well it’s a fair chunk of change 🤔. That said a good rifle should last for years so worth the outlay 🤔 Reliable 🤔 I have heard a lot of horror stories regarding Fx, low power, terrible grouping, poor service from Fx. 🍋Don’t want to by a Lemon ,that needs to keep going to a gunsmith , Shot a HW Kt. for5yrs fantastic ,if I missed i new it was my fault not the gun, only trouble was to low a shot count for hunting. Tried two BSA R10se found them inconsistent need additional work to make them work properly. Currently shooting Daystate Huntsman Hr (for the last two years) good accuracy better shot count and very good looking. Down side , it’s a long rifle and can be awkward in a hide which is the( bulk of my shooting.) A higher shot count would be a advantage when hunting some times. I’ve been looking to try another hunting rifle, Fx , AGT , Daystate up to £2,000 what would be your choice. No rush for your reply as I am sure your a busy man👍 Have a think of your top 3 👍 I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

Nice unbiased review and some canny shooting. I picked this up in my local gun shop and was surprised how light it was. I quite fancy the Brocock Ranger XR as it folds down to nothing and will fit in my rucksack making it ideal for carrying about and not having to lug a gun bag about. Like the gunrest which model is it? Happy hunting bud.....
FX offer terrible service and low quality products! Here's a real response from FX Support after I purchased a faulty "Power Block" version of the Impact and the dealer refused to help: "The support will be closed for summer holidays 16:th of July to 15:th of August" This is 100% true!!!!

i purchased a .22 sub 12 Mk3. i had to send it back twice. the barrell was too tight and 'bent' clipping the moderator, air leaking excessively. after receiving it back it seems ok. My question to you is this: - i know you were testing 'accuracy' but how can you take any credit for the groups, when the rifle is in a rest? - you are essentially just cocking, lining up and firing. no effort from yourself with regard to position/hold/breathing etc.
Actually, alot of us do want real world non-bs reviews on different guns - it's alot of money to potentially spend on a gun that may not be as good as the hype *cough*BSA collectors edition*cough* You're free to press stop and choose another video at any time ;-)

Sent mine back, groups would change position every 5 or so shots. My mates was the same after returning for repairing and assessment 2 times!

I believe the upgrades on the internals alone make the late MK II's and the new MK III worth it

I would go for the M3 because of the extra adjustability ! For example from 32 fpe down to 12 for competitions .

I've just gone and bought the M3 and it's accurate but i don't think it's as accurate as the 1.5 impact......

The test was of the rifle accuracy not the shooter’s skill. If it was rifle was in a vice the testing would be fair,the test is the rifle.
