Been going through a lot of videos about CO lately (including other videos from your channel), and this is the most helpful to us. Thank you for showing us the true beauty of Colorado.
Thanks for visiting and sharing our beautiful town! When you come back, make sure you stop into O'Toys in Ouray! We're a great place to play out of the rain!
amazing video! I love Colorado, hoping to experience those lake hikes this summer. I could see the emotion in your eyes and knew that visiting the San Juan Mountains is a must for a amazing experience! god bless and safe travels.
If you get some time, rent a 4x4 and take a trip up into the mountains. We drove from Ouray, up to the top of the red mountains, and down into Silverton all on back roads. There's really some awesome stuff you can get up there and see. We did this in June and there were spots were we literally drove through snow drifts that bulldozers had plowed through. They were taller than the Jeep!
If you visit here please respect the land, pack out your trash, keep your dogs leashed, leave the wildlife alone, obey the traffic laws. Be a good person and have fun.
I love Colorado 💜 thanks for this guide, Colorado is certainly beautiful. I’ll have to get over to that trail. So majestic💜 I’m Wanda, new to your channel.
If you are ever in Ouray again, be sure and grab a burger from Maggie's Burgers. They are really good! Also, next time you are in Telluride, instead of driving up to Bridal Veil Falls, hike the Bridal Veil Falls Trail. You will get three different waterfalls on one trail that is less than 2 miles in total! It is worth it. Also, another quick waterfall pay-off is on the Cornet Creek Falls Trail. The trail is a quarter-mile round trip but is a great trail!
Omg Im so excited! I just move to Colorado and all your Colorado blogs are so helpful to my husband and my friends, we’re planning a road-trip to Telluride and this content is so helpful to us in this moment 💘 thanks so much !
That's so exciting! Welcome! There so much beauty to be seen here on CO! And this area is definitely one of the best! Thanks for watching! So glad there are helpful to you!
I’m so excited!! We are going in 3 weeks and your videos have helped so much!! … Quick question: may I ask what camera you are using??! The video quality is beautiful!!!
Your video is amazing!!! I live in Colorado and my family is looking for a short get away. The hiking trails you mentioned are they loops are are they in and back? I’m traveling with kids the youngest is 9 but 9 miles might be a bit of a stretch!
Thank God it's not a national park or they would ruin it. Country Lodge in Montrose has some nice themed rooms. Dallas Divide is my favorite Colorado pass, breathtaking every time and I used to drive it almost daily.
Which trailhead did you use when you did the Blue Lakes Trail? I see there are multiple starting points online, but not sure which one to start at. Also, what month did you do the Blue Lakes trail? Thanks for this great video. Very informative and helpful for trip planning.
Great video! In my opinion the San Juan Mountain’s area is the most beautiful part of the state. Two things: 1. What camera are you using? The colors are fantastic! 2. I don’t want to sound mean, but you misspelled “Ridgway”. There’ no “e” in the name.
Thank you! I Can totally agree - it's so beautiful! 1. I use my phone - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and a GoPro Hero 10 2. Oh my goodness! You are totally right! Thanks for catching that... I will be sure to take a mental note of that for the future. Can't believe I did that. Thank yo!
Awesome video. We are going to Colorado in june. Looking for something not as busy as Estes park RMNP, and breck. Was it really busy when you were there? Also wondering if any activities like zipline, alpine coasters rafting in these area you went?
Beautiful. Also just wondering how many hiking backpacks 🎒 do you have? I noticed 2 diffrent ones you were wearing in a few videos. I have a collection of about 4.
Hey Jeanie love you content will be visiting co in the fall and would love to know your opinion on what are the must see's I should see in co as a whole or even some hidden gems! :)
Hello that looks very beautiful. We are planning to go during Labor Day weekend. Did you guys go from Denver airport and travel to this destination? Where did you rented the car and which model is better to drive there?
What do you guys think of Durango? I’m trying to plan a Southwest CO trip this summer & I really enjoy your content. My son will be 7 when we go, so not sure if he can do Blue Lakes Trail, but man would I love to!
Durango is a college town plus mucho touristas with a ski area up the road. Nice area but you'll want to give the Pagosa Springs area some time too for more space.
You just got my subscription, can you tell me where I can hike or drive for best fall colors scenics route and when is the right time to enjoy falls foliage. What's the town that have low prices for hotels?
Thank you so much! Fall colors start in September and runs through October - Mother Nature determines when they will turn, so I can't answer that - we love seeing fall colors in Rocky Mountain National Park, Breckenridge, Leadville / Twin Lakes and Aspen :)
@@JeanieMarie Thank you very much, since you're a local person which area would be #1pick? I am from North Carolina and will visit the Colorado this mid September.
Hey there would you still go to Telluride if the gondola was closed? Apparently they close it on 16 October every year for maintenance for ski season. We live in Colorado Springs and are planning to go up there in October 20 The hike looks nice they said a lot of restaurants would be close to. Have you ever been this time of year and what are your thoughts thank you
Yes, many things in CO are seasonal and shut down in preparing for ski season. I would personally not go when everything is shut down - but that's just my own personal preference.
Yeah. Im feeling that way too! What about Pagosa Springs??? They don’t really shut down I don’t think and I believe it’s some nice hiking and springs. What are your thoughts?
@@nancydee6106 I haven't been there yet to check it out. But if you haven't been to Glenwood Springs...they have some great hot springs! Really beautiful little town.

I’ve read many reviews that say it is a really rough 9 mile dirt road. It is recommended to use 4WD but another UA-camr I follow saw all types Prius, sedan, minivan, everything really. You just have to take it slow
That's a tough one. As that's borderline snow season. It could be beautiful or it could be snowy. You would have to watch the weather to see how the season is going.
Hi Jeanie! My apologies I was reading your about page and it said to contact you what ideas etc, but I can't figure out how to send you a message! So sorry for leaving this in the comments but I'm hoping to get through to you. Thanks!
I find your videos informative but so many times I can’t see the view because your head is in the way. I don’t mean it rudely but maybe turn the camera around more when showing views.
Stumbled on your video, unfortunately we have to move on. The current trend of horrible vocal fry and deleted periods and commas plus such a monotone delivery, uh girl you need vocal coaching…

great idea!
You don’t technically have to pay to get to box canyon you can get to it through the perimeter trail
That's true.
Better to pay them since they really work hard to maintain trail.
I’m here Ridgeway & Telluride tomorrow, don’t know what to do .. you helped me a lot (came from Maryland 58 yrs old mom)
So glad I could help! Have an amazing time!!
Thank you for this video I love all of them

Ok Square.
😂 Park rangers are now patrolling the internet in search of potential bad actors? Please step on a Lego.
I hiked to lower lake and as we were arriving, the showers showed up lol. we tucked under a tree for a while and enjoyed the beautiful lake and view.

Video is just gorgeous as the place!

oh wow! This is such a beautiful video!
Great job on the video!!!
Orvis hot springs just outside of ridgway is a great option that’s less water-park-y. It is clothing optional, however!
Thank you! I'll keep that in mind! I just don't like "waterpark" hot springs. Doesn't give me the "hot springs" feel! Thank you!
Orvis, midnight, new years eve, under the frosty stars... ahh memories...
thx for sharing and stay safe
Thanks so much for watching!
I totally love that area its the bomb
If you come back to Telluride you should visit trout lake and go paddle boarding in the view.

Ice Lake
