Try putting some music or a podcast on with headphones instead, because then you're still technically on your phone but you have the ability to also do other things, and then you can turn the screen off and get onto doing the second step. It won't always work for everyone, but it helps me.

Y’know I think I get it. I could -order- buy the ingredients, ask my butle- I mean sister to open the door and make the burger all in the comfort of my own room using my phone. Bam, minimum steps. 🤩🤯
I’ve always been doing this to get through harder things, for example when I have to wait 10 minutes I say “alright, 2 minutes until I’m a fifth through” and it’s just easier to process “5 2-minute durations” rather than “10 minutes”
I have a really weird but really good way to get motivated, i usually play games all afternoon, when im playing i start to think about my homework and i start to think what i need to do that i remember, i spend half or an entire hour thinking. I start getting distracted and all of sudden i think of the feeling of finishing the homework and having the rest of the day free, i stop everything that I'm doing and i start organizing everything and i start doing everything i need before my brain make me fell agony of doing homework. Basically my brain turn of reality and i go autopilot on my homework, when i finish my brain "turn on again" then i take a bath to refresh and relax, then i go back to play games. It's weird but it works and that's what matters.
