I went back to loc method using Blue Magic Hair grease, shea butter blend and creamy leave in. My hair is growing like crazy now, no setbacks, my hair is thick and healthy. I love the Indian Hemp and Hair food by Blue Magic. Old school works, and let's not talk about the $2.99 a tub.💕💕💕

I’ve been subscribed to this channel for a longgggggggg time and Megz is a hair care guru. You helped put a lot of girls on, including me, with QP mango butter, glycerin, rosewater, jojoba oil, castor oil, ORS products, S-Curl moisturizer, V05 strawberries and cream conditioner, etc. I even remember when you had Ashley make a few features lol 😂 Love that you’re still dropping gems 💎💕🫶🏾

I like to use a tiny amount of Mizani Rosewater Hairdress from mid-strands to ends. If I have a little chi silk infusion I'll add about three drops to each side. Then I either pin it up the way you have here or I might set it with four flexi-rods...tends to come out soft and bouncy.

Hi Megz! Love it when you upload! I just learned that sealing lots of oil and butter for moisture in my hair possibly led to moisture overload cause I was treating my relaxed hair as if it was non-relaxed! I have more to learn on my hair journey like how my low-porosity hair doesn’t go well with proteins, so excited to receive Olaplex in the mail and be in a new relaxed journey. Looking forward to seeing more of your journey!

Meg your hair is looking good. Definitely eating well, vitamins, exercise and moisturization all contribute to healthy hair growth. I am starting to think, regarding my hair, it's not really the brand of product its the consistency of being gentle, washing my hair often and light oil almond and the castor oil on my ends. Just need to be consistent with my scalp messages.

Thanks for the vid! Imma try this one out for sure! Ive been having a bit of trouble with the front of my hair: split ends have been trying to ruin my journey. Funny enough, the split ends ARE ONLY AT THE FRONT!!! My nape is beautiful and grows out lovely consistently. I've been doing dusting and a liytle trimming on my own where the split ends are concerned. Im not sure I have gotten THE moisturizer as yet, though. I will definitely try what you suggested in the video. Would you have any videos on how to grow the front part of the hair as this part is a problem area for me ATM. I need to tackle it head on this year! No retreat. No surrender!

There are only 3-sometimes 4 products I use on a regular basis after I shampoo (every 3 days). I'm an LCO method girl just because it makes sense to me that using the oil(s) last is going to seal-in moisture better than anything else. I use Camille Rose Honey Hydrate Leave-In Conditioner, African Pride Olive Miracle Anti-Breakage Conditioner Cream, and the African Pride Hair Moisture Miracle Strengthen and Protect 5 Essential Oils.
These have been working wonders for my hair type and I'll switch them up if that ever changes. I also use the African Pride or As I Am Pre-Poo for wash days when I need extra moisture. Pretty basic, but the shampoos and rinse-out conditioners are where I switch-up and try new things on the regular.

Girl I have natural hair and my genetics have me struggling with my hair. I'm more prone to stress due to my neurodivergent brain and I'm a thalassemia carrier in a place with little sunlight. What causes my hair to be weak and fall out: stress, ferritin deficiency, vitamin D deficiency, I seem to have a magnsesium deficiency and I just realised that for my age and height and exercise routine I need to eat more protein. ...and hair needs protein!! Yeah I need a time out from 2023. Lol! Yeah it's wig season for me. It's cold outside and I don't want my ends freezing off. lol!

Please read the ingredients in the Fortifying Cream Hair Dress… particularly DMDM Hydantoin. Research that chemical. It is NOT good for our hair. I threw out all of my hair products that contain it. I’m not promoting Keracare but they do not use that chemical in their products. Also, I had a lot of breakage and had no idea why. A dermatologist had me bring in my products and to my surprise almost all of my products contained protein. My blow dry sprays, leave in conditioners, moisturizer conditioners. No, it wasn’t advertised on the front that it contains protein but the Derm showed and told me that… Hydrolyzed silk, wheat, collagen are all proteins. Unbeknownst to me, my hair was suffering from protein overload.
