Good work! I bought my second one late in the season, so I left open pockets for growing lettuce and cilantro. I will have to pull my tomatoes and peppers too, but not quite yet as I am holding out hope foe the blooms to mature lol
No worries endless possibilities, thx for your inspiration an content..keep on keeping on.👨🌾👩🌾 All my things had extended weeks to maturity. Just now cutting okra monday, planted last week of april.😮
Wow, this was so informative and I learned a lot!! You definitely make it easy to keep watching, you're gorgeous! Thanks again for your content! My mama taught me to garden, but now I can teach her a few things.
Those nets/bags are seriously underrated. Last year I didn’t net my figs and the squirrels would eat them right before I would pick them. This year I netted them and they are getting zero fruit. Also helpful stopping the black fig fly from getting in.
@@thecottagepeach I used the one without the zipper and it is definitely tedious. Most of my trees are in pots so they are manageable size-wise. I’m using the ones with zippers now and it’s stopped the rats and squirrels from getting my jujubes and I can harvest a few everyday as they ripen 🥳. Much better than no zippers.
Fellow shorty here! I was able to get a couple of the 3 tiers before they were unfortunately discontinued. You can buy the tiers separately, which is nice for customization.I got the Blueberry color that way. 😊
@Nikki-mx5my I buy the 5s plus extras to make 4s out of the pieces I take off the 5s (so if I buy 2 5s, I also get 2 individuals so I end up with 3 4s)
Don’t you love coast of Maine products 😊 that’s what I use for my greenstalks and containers. Great video and inspiration! I growing a tower of spinach!
We're growing strawberries in our Greenstalk. So far, we only have leaves. We thought we would save money and just buy the roots at Walmart. Well, that was a joke. We have three out of 20 actually grew. So we're training the runners to occupy the other pots. The temperatures in eastern Oregon can drop below zero. So I suppose we would need to move the Greenstalk into our greenhouse that we haven't built yet but hope to. Thanks for all the info.
Strawberries are usually pretty cold hardy. How far below zero do you go and how often? At or around zero with the frost cover I showed here the strawberries should be okay to overwinter outside, as long as they are a cold hardy variety
@@thecottagepeach I guess last winter was unusual by going below zero. The weather pages show the average lows in the 20's. So I guess our strawberries will be okay. Thanks.
Yep in the greenhouse, but I have bigger pepper plants I’ll be overwintering instead since I have limited space I’m just picking the best ones to overwinter ☺️
I use one clothesline pin or clip as my marker. Then I move the pin to the next row.
Ah! Perfect
And their we go! A fall garden video! Go Peach!
On it! More coming
Learned something new didn’t know you could grow cabbages in the stalks. Great informative video
They’re so versatile! Thanks for watching

Fingers crossed you have time for a second flush on the tomatoes and peppers!

It just seems like it could get tedious if you have a lot of fruit

I keep mine at 4 layers tall. I'm short and everything growing in the 5th was too high up 😂
That's the way!!

Thanks! It's been fun getting it to this point

(I never protect my strawberries and they stay green all winter, even at 0f in zone 6)

Have you tried Brigg’s in North Attleboro? They have pretty much everything
Yep love it there, but they only had the ones I mentioned 😩
Would you be able to overwinter the pepper plant in a pot?
Yep in the greenhouse, but I have bigger pepper plants I’ll be overwintering instead since I have limited space I’m just picking the best ones to overwinter ☺️
