What you need:
1. A cardboard box and thin cardboard about half a meter long;
2. Yarn rope (I used 6mm diameter rope and about 3-4 meters long, you can use regular clothesline or leftover yarn!);
3. Fabric about half a meter each of 2 kinds, or what you have;
4. A 4mm diameter macramé rope about 2-3 meters long;
5. Hot glue.

Your idea was wonderful, but the execution left something to be desired, as the thread you chose to make the braid is too thick and the corners were rough, affecting the quality of your finish. Next time, use a finer thread so that you can have a perfect finish.
This fringe made the work "heavy".
