On last thing, sure the true colors aren't in game, but the true colors are inverted colors of his colorpallete, I tried it with sonic and his furr color was yellow gold color, meaning that ashura true colors are red with a white fur on his forehead

it makes sense that Super Sonic would revert most of Ahura's palette. It's constantly cycling to give a slight glowing effect, and so I really wasn't expecting anything special to come of it, maybe, but probably nothing crazy. Also Ashura becoming Sonic again also makes sense. The transformation effect is also directly updating Sonic's palette, which would negate the any parts of corrupted color palette that are being directly updated, that is to say, almost all of them, except black which isn't supposed to ever change.
You should check out the latest IDW Sonic character, Surge the Tenrec, who seems to be heavily inspired by Ashura. She looks to be a clone of Sonic based on what has been setup in the comics and her species reflects this with her being a Tenrec, an animal from Madagascar that resembles hedgehogs. Her color scheme also seems to resemble Ashura too.
And the other new IDW character Kitsunami the Fennec is based on the Blue Knuckles glitch. This makes them plus Dr. Starline a sort of Team Glitch in a way

i like purple super ashura. different super form colors in general are really cool to me and im genuinely upset theyve all just become gold. shadow being platinum white and knuckles being pink were dope as hell
Knowing that Scourge is derived from Ashura, and his purple super form in the comics is a direct invert of that shade of green, it makes sense to me for the OG Ashura to also 'invert' the color into a bright, flourescent pink. Knowing that pink and black checkerboard is also the color scheme for a lot of 'missing texture' placeholders helps add to that idea.
While yes, Metal Sonic 3.0 came out a year before the STH2 Mobile Port, (2007, MS3)(2008 , STH2MP) the developers would not go out of their way to make an obscure reference to an obscure glitch that has only really seen talk about during the early stages of STH Internet, dimming down in popularity as people found other things to do such as play the new Sonic games and find out things about them. Also, it looks way too messy to be an intentional palette that was hand-crafted.
Personally, based on how the colors of Sonic’s super form work and him having his fur change to a complementary/contrasting color (from blue to yellow), I personally see Ashura going a purple-ish pink or magenta color, along with the black fur becoming white.
Purple does make sense. Blue is to green as yellow is to purple. Don't know about the black turning into white, since the white on Sonic's regular sprite stays the same color when he goes super. In conclusion, I think Super Ashura should be black and purple.
You show Shadow's SA2 transformation to show that most hedgehogs become golden, which is strange since that's the only instance of that NOT happening. In SA2, Shadow's super form is cream to contrast his previous black in the same way that Sonic's blue becomes yellow.
I have multiple interpretations for Ashura's super form. Either: - Purple-ish blue, really love that look for him - Has the same color as basic Sonic Super Form, just that his quills doesn't rise up, and his eyes remain blue
This makes me feel so old. Bradey and I used to roleplay Sonic stuff as teenagers in the Sonic community of the 90's, and I remember Ashura very well. He took on a Protoman/Blues role to Sonic, and would battle him to make him strong enough to face Dr. Robotnik.
Ashura to me seems like he's an evil water demon within Sonic who was unleashed every time Sonic interacts or is in the water and Sonic then got a panic attack after a certain time period and amount of water-based exposure which summoned Ashura. Its kinda like Sonic Unleashed with the day and night cycle transformations with normal and Werehog Sonic, but it predated it by years hehehe. ;) Now, what's the Japanese for water...? Because it could be a potential nice name for Ashura's Super Form, and that would further indicate Sonic's really heightened fear of water.

My headcannon for a “super Ashura” is: -Purple Replacing the lime green -Black ink at the end of the spikes -Red gloves -Black socks and belt -White shoes -White iris (the colored part of your eye) -black sclera (the white part of your eye) -And a glow around the whole thing My idea for a “hyper Ashura” is pretty much the same thing, the difference being grey replacing the purple
I think the best coloration is the pinkish one, as it resembles Super Sayain Rose, being perfect to match up against the Super Sayain-like transformation Sonic gets.

Ashura has a super form in sonic 3 (no not sonic 3 and knuckles, but actually sonic 3) It only appears for a brief moment for only one frame once you become super sonic
Although I respect that the remasters removed the glitch, I think they should’ve included some sort of code that restores Ashura. heck imagine if you could play as him in all stages now, as it would be an intentional inclusion rather than a glitch
The ashura glitch would be for the recolor for scourge since previously scourge was more than an evil sonic (of a reality where everything good is bad and everything bad is good)

Hidden Palace Ashura looks a bit like Metal Sonic 3.0. It's probably too obscure to be an intentional reference, but you never know.
