Kevin Bridges is a legend here in Scotland, his shows are amazing and so relatable to us here in Scotland in particular. Good to see you two enjoying it so much too 😂
It’s amazing to me how well you understand our Glasgow accent. I ask you to try watching a show called “Still Game” I’m confident you will enjoy it. All the best to you and yours.
Man, can you imagine American people especially here in the south of the US, trying to understand still game 😂 “Hey Boaby, geez another pint, PRICK” 😂😂
Kevin was born in 1986. This is him playing his home city of Glasgow. He´s popular all around Britain, but particularly so in Glasgow where he can sell out 15 to 20 nights in the exhibition centre, the SECC.
It's true, and people share such personal things with people they last saw when they were 3 😳. I'd like to recommend anything from Lee Evans by the way. He's retired now, but he was a true comedic genius. Thanks guys, love your reactions! 🙏🙏
We've got our first reaction to Lee recorded. It's currently fighting several copyright strikes though. We should be able to share it by the end of September
In my opinion Kevin Bridges is probably the best stand up comedian in the world (in terms of shows). Maybe it’s just being from Britain (England specifically) that makes his material so relatable but he presents it in such a hilarious way.
I've seen Kevin Bridges live with my son and we both nearly died laughing. I've also seen Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans and Al Murray and each of Micky Flanagan's tours, plus the great Billy Connolly on his last ever tour when Parkinson's disease had already taken a terrible toll on him. Another great reaction from you two.
Would you have Kevin above all those? I haven't seen any of those live exept Al Murray. I have seen Jimmy Carr,Ricky Gervais, Simon Brodkin,Al Murray,James Acaster,Reg D Hunter and Henning Vehn. Would loved to have seen Billy Connolly and Kevin Bridges👍
@@martindunstan8043 not necessarily, they are all good in their own different ways. Micky Flanagan is a favourite because you can relate to the funny stories he tells, but tbh, I was very disappointed in his last tour. I also saw Omid Djalili who was a very big let down.
Kev is incredible. Not only is he hilarious, but his observations around how we used to deal with rejection vs how we deal with it now are incredibly prescient. Horned up sex-gremlins and apprentice rapists are two of the most apt descriptors I've ever heard for young Scottish lads today.
I live in Manchester northern England. My best friend was from Glasgow (sadly passed away this year). But he had a wonderful sense of humour and brilliant comical observation.
Kev is a Scottish legend even in his younger years. I had the pleasure to meet him at my partners birthday bash in Dumbarton a few years ago as my son was Kevin’s best friends apprentice for the local council. My son also called Kev spoke of him so highly and listening to his stories of him and his b st friend Tony which you can see him on an episode of would you lie to me. Honestly I grew up in the same era and I can so relate to his humour. His stand up is actually the whole truth about how we grew up in West Dunbartonshire between skinning up a 3 skinner taco, to avoiding getting stabbed for a quid it’s just so relatable to growing up for our generation. Honestly as good as billy Connolly in my opinion all though both are Tim’s but that’s easily forgiven as I’m not religious but we still love to rip the pish out of each other all though he does it with such beauty and grace. Seriously you need to watch his dvds. He’s an absolute legend and makes me so proud that he was able to make something out of his life from all the things that we had against us growing up in this part of the country. And Kev if you are reading this Wee Kev is now staying in Dubai still up to his old stuff but living life to the full. Love you both but my boy always comes before your hysterical antidotes. But bro still loving you and that from a Myre boy. Oh and still to this day the Bundy were and always will be pussys 😉 ❤️🤍💙
Nice reaction, thank you. I think the fact that Brits can really take the p*ss out of themselves and are experts at sarcasm, means we have some of the BEST comedians in the World. Cheers
You two need to come to scotland as thats the humour and it’s amazing!! No offence to Your country but most Americans ive met in Scotland or when i have been in America the humour goes straight over there head. You’s two must have scottish blood in you!! Alba Gu Brath 🏴 god bless guys, wishing you all the happiness whilst im sipping on my sons capri sun
One of my fellow Scots I sound just like him lol this is the glaswegian accent,,hes absolutely hilarious, he grew up 5mins from where I live now,his parents still live in clydebank, us glaswegians are really just down to earth people we don't really give a s**t about what people think of us we're thick skinned ,an just want to have fun an enjoy life..go Kevin your awesome big guy..🏴🏴😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🏴🏴
One of the legendary Glasgow comedians. Led by Billy Connolly and Frank Boyle. Check out the Liverpool comedians Ken Dodd, John Bishop, Chris McCausland and Stan Boardman
I really like watching you guys reacting to "things" . As a EUROPEAN....... WE/ A LOT of us think you Americans are a bit/little SLOW/ RIDICULOUS. But you prove that not ALL Americans have LOST their mind:) LOL ...Love your energy and hope you get bigger on UA-cam.
He's very funny and the reaction from Jess. "If any of your friends want to get off with me." She burst into laughter and slid down in her chair like she was about to pass a kidney!😅😅 I admit I passed a drop of pee before I managed to control it. HILARIOUS!
Hey guys. Great to see you react to Kevin Bridges again. He's awesome. I have something completely different I would love you both to react to. It is something unique to us Europeans. It's a music festival held in the Netherlands called Defqon 1. It attracts over 250,000 people over a 4 day weekend held every year. I obviously don't want you to react to the whole thing. Just some of what they call the End show Ritual. They are spectacular and I think you will really enjoy watching them. I also think it is something you kids would really enjoy watching too. Regards from the UK 😀
love your comedy reviews. To keep up the british comedy theme, please take a look Inbetweeners. There is the original series and later 2 full length films. All very funny, love seeing how the americans react to the raw and untamed comedy the UK has to offer.
Yees done Kevin Bridges Halloween? its so true. the nightout stopped being in a pub/club and became people watching. always a full on madness around halloween
Loving the comedy vibes however I believe you are both missing out on Lucy Thomas her latest video is special (I Dreamed A Dream) (Les Miserables) as always Lucy is Stunning looking and vocal --- Sean (UK) x
On social media, you never know what you're seeing, i superglued a Lego spaceman holding a flag and a space rocket toy to my arse. For a fake "moon" landing joke, i cut the photo so it looks like it could be the top of my head, and now i post it for birthdays and if people are ill, writing things like "I'll be over the moon, if you get well soon" and nobodies realised yet am really mooning them, by the way gorilla glue is very hard to get off, and turns out i have a bad reaction to it, i just wish I'd though of taking a photo of the bad rash i got, and saying that was the rocket blast off mark, so be careful not all is what you see
19 years later after secondary school (High School) I actually ended up engaged to the prettiest girl in our year, we barely spoke in school but became friends after
If you think Kevin's got a broad accent then you should hear what it sounds like in real life 😂 I never realised our accent was so hard for non Glaswegians(although Kevs technically from Clydebank) until I met my future in laws who couldn't understand a word I said, and they're Irish and our closest kin ffs.😂 Kevin is brilliant and I'm so glad you both enjoy him. ✌
If you want to know where Scottish comedians started from , try Chick Murray , then Billy Connolly and in my opinion Kevin is number 3 on this generational list Have a great time I’m sure you will love them all
The thing about observational comedy greats like Kevin Bridges is they really do cut through the white noise and bullshit of everyday life , not exposing it but actually seeing it for what it is , we all identify and see exactly the truths this type of comedy reveals .
I was at school with Kevin in the year above. Not much opportunity where we grew up so its great to see him do well.
Kevin Bridges is a legend here in Scotland, his shows are amazing and so relatable to us here in Scotland in particular. Good to see you two enjoying it so much too 😂
he's great in Wales as well
I was born in Scotland live in England he's a legend everywhere
👏 👏
I'm an English incomer to Scotland (been here 9 years) and I'd not heard of him before, going to have to check him out now..!
Tell them, "Big Kevs in the corner, eating a Freddo (chocolate bar) and drinking a capri sun, looking for luuuurv" 😂😂
Freddo is also frog shaped, so very much marketed for kids.
Yes, I still ate them as an adult 😅

Big Kev is THE MAN!!!!

I’ve been lucky to sit in the front row when I saw him live. He spoke to me all through his performance
That was great, love Jess' impression of 'Big Kev'🤣🤣✌️
Apart from YT and LinkedIn(for work purposes) I don't have any social media, for this very reason. Kevin nails it! 😂😂
This was a fun reaction I loved how much you both laughed take care.
