Don’t come to Islam unless you want to. Never mind what other people tell you to do. Your way to God is your choice. According to Islam, all religions are from the same God.
Altho, it claims all religions have been changed with time and only Islam will maintain its teachings because it’s a religion made for the last human generations on earth (a modern religion you can say), but it contradicts this by saying “God only judges people by their intentions”.
It means if you follow any religion, your intentions is what matters.
The only major difference between Christianity and Islam is that in Islam God is a single entity.
      Whatever that means to you.
Some muslims think it means God is a single being not part of this world, while others think God is in everything, including this world and us and everything really. I’m the latter.

This is the new age drug that people are getting hooked to. The easily accessible/free drug that is available anytime with ease. Getting help for this drug is a bit difficult and frustrating coz the actions a person gets involved when seeing haram things and most of the society considering it as nothing severe. It leads to mental and physical deprivation in the long term, wish I had known the consequences when I first started slipping into this addiction.
May Allah help us all from falling into this trap, make us more resilient and help those who had fallen and trying to get out.

@@jason-s8c Still not completely got out of it bro. I have been fighting from a very long time. It takes so much time depending upon how long one have been addicted. Some people can get out of it soon if they are able to detect the dangers pretty early but the more you delay, the more difficult and out of control it becomes.
You need to have a lot of self discipline to get out of it.
Offering Salah and meditating are the best methods to gain control on your mind/desires.
Ability to know the time and environment ones slips is also very important. So that they stay busy under those circumstances.
Find people who are on the same path of recovery from this addiction and help one another or a close friend who can help . A support is always needed if one is addicted very severly. Motivation helps.
In the end it's all about educating the mind of the stupidity of seeing haram and how it damages the mind "in the long term". It is very disgusting if you add logic to watching haram, those are just stupid pixels, life is more than that. The consequences will be brutal if you neglect the recovery bro believe me.

How to pray for forgiveness for MAJOR sins:

      3. Never return to it.
And of course, _beg_ Allah to forgive you for the sin you did.

Before You I acknowledge Your blessings bestowed upon me,
and I confess my sins to You.

Maa Shaa Allah. This video is very necessary for youth in our generation. Many people have been trapped in this for too long. I know I have. It is to such a point, committing the sin, then repenting to Allah, and then going back to the same sin again and again. It has brought me into depression. I hate doing it, and yet I go back to it. I hate myself for it. Many times I have thought, if only suicide was allowed in Islam, I could end this torture. My heart burns with tears after every incident, and Allah (AWJ) knows how many oceans could have filled with my tears till now, crying in front of him, no one else. I don’t have any sense of worth in me. If someone tries to praise me for something that I did, I would quickly become uncomfortable, and direct the praise away from me, to perhaps someone else who helped me in the that work.
It hurts. Very deeply. PLEASE, brother, PLEASE sister, stay away from it. PLEASE, I beg you. It will kill you from the inside. Alhamdulillah, Allah has given me the tears to cry in front of him after so many years of transgression, but I know many who have lost that as well. So please, stay away from this evil.

When is it okay to "expose" your sin in order to seek help? I'm very glad you are covering this topic. The taboo has left many people alone in their struggle because they feel that they can't seek help

    • @sweatydood5118
      @sweatydood5118 2 роки тому +36

Notice the difference. "Exposing" your sins means telling others about your sins for sake of amusement, humor, ego, etc.
Seeking help with your struggles is not equivalent to "exposing" your sins. Allah wants us to seek the help we need. Allah does not want us to do the former.

When you go to an appropriate person, perhaps a professional, for assistance or advice, it is ok. Now, sharing it in UA-cam comments that anyone and everyone can see, that's not going to an appropriate person, that's making it public. Making a UA-cam video asking for help, that's also exposing yourself. Select an individual that is trustworthy and respectful of privacy. Someone that isn't too invested, someone with knowledge of the subject. Have a clear intention for why you are seeking help and have clean reasoning for the purpose, and make ishihara before you talk with them.

    • @AllLakers
      @AllLakers 2 роки тому +6

Yes there’s a different from exposing your sins for the fun of it and genuinely seeking help. All is between you and Allah He knows best what your intentions are so make them pure and seek help if necessary.

I'm a Catholic and my sister's a Muslim, and I learned there are so many things we share in common. Anyways, I just want to share something I've learned about becoming someone we aspire. We should not focus on "Changing" rather we should focus on "Choosing" and that is choosing a different path. The difference is that if we set our minds in changing ourselves, we focus on seeing ourselves as bad becoming good. This will lead us to relapse once in a while, because the bad is what we focus on covering up subconsciously. We should rather focus on our journey in life a path we choose to lead and a past we choose to leave behind. This offers us to not focus on the bad but focus on the good which is our future goal.

The Tahajjud is a special Islamic prayer which is recommended. The Tahajjud is prayed after Isha (the obligatory nightly prayer) and before Fajr (the obligatory morning prayer). If possible, it is most desirable to perform the Tahajjud between midnight and Fajr, preferably in the last third of the night. Though the Tahajjud isn't compulsory, many devout Muslims try to make it part of their daily routine as an act of worship and to earn redemption and forgiveness from Allah.

Pornography is an AMAZING drug. Unlike, alcohol and marijuana etc. which enters the body and then leaves, once pornography enters the body, it stays, because unlike drugs, where you have to go back and fill the tank up again, pornography, enters the mind and can be recalled at any moment. So it is a far more toxic drug, because of our ability to remember.
I was exposed to porn and alcohol as a child and combined with violence and a hateful and humiliating upbringing the energy of pornography was extremely satisfying. And that is the other problem, if this child like the other children portrayed in this series get infected with any kind of haram it doesn't feel wrong, it actually feels right. So I would suggest to the counsellor to start with this young mans life, because something is wrong and he is using this filth as a type of medication. Once the root of the toxicity is discovered it will be easier for the kid to let it go and he will understand what it really is and what it is really doing to him and why he is so obsessed with it.
One last thing, addiction has two stages the desire to consume haram and then once the product has been consumed by the five senses of the body, the second stage starts and that is an allergic reaction. This allergic reaction manifests itself with the body craving more and more and more. So find out what is wrong and then break the first cycle and then the second is automatically cut loose.

As a Christian, although our ways of worship are different, we all know that whatever we call our God, we face the same temptation and urges. This could be a small step to truly become closer. We don’t have to agree on everything, but that small step is to recognize the fight between good and evil. 1. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah radiyallahu anhu said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be
    upon him) said: "Whoever recites
    Ayatul Kursi immediately after each
    prescribed prayer, there will be
    nothing standing between him and
    his entering Paradise except death."
    2. Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says,
    "Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi' (Glory
and praise be to Allah) one hundred
times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea.
    (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
    3. Abu Hurairah narrated that
    the Prophet said:“There are two
statements that are light on the
tongue, heavy on the scales, and
    beloved to the Most Merciful:
    Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi,
    Subhana Allahi Al-'Azeem (Glory and
praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah,
    the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari)
    4. Abu Hurairah reported that the
Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: He who repeats after
    every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory
    be to Allah) thirty-three times,
Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)
    thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah
is the Greatest) thirty-three times; and

La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu,
    lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa
Huwa ‘ala kulli shai'in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent) Will have all his
sins pardoned even if they may be as
large as the foam on the surface of
    the sea." (Muslim)
    5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that
    the Prophet (peace and blessings
be upon him) said: Whosoever says:
    'Astaghfirullaha al-'Azeem al-ladhi
la ilaha illa huwa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum
wa atubu illayh (I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I
turn to Him in repentance,) his sins
will be forgiven even if he should
have run away from the battlefield
(while he was engaged in fighting
for the Cause of Allah, which is a
    grave sin in Islam).
(Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
    6. The Prophet peace be upon
    him said "Whosoever recites
Durood Sharief on me 10 times
in the morning and evening, I will
intercede for him on the day of
    Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
    7.Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten
times, Allah will build a palace for
him in Paradise. 'Umar (may Allah
be pleased with him) exclaimed, "If
that's the case, then we will increase
in our palaces!" The Prophet ? (may
the peace and blessings of Allah be
upon him) responded, "Allah is better
    and greater (in reward)." [Ahmad]
    8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on
Friday, it wil act as a light/protection
for him from one Friday to the next.
    (Bayhaqi)
    9. Whoever performs their ablution
carefully and then affirms (their faith
by testifying): "Ash-hadu an laa ilaha
il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu

    wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja'Ini
    min at-tawaabeen waj-a'Ini min
    a-mutatahireen": 1 testify that
there is no true deity except Allah
Alone, Who has no partners, and
that Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me
from those who repent and purify
themselves' - the eight gates of
Jannah are opened for him so he
    may enter through whichever of
    these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi]
    10. Whoever says: "Radheetu billahi
Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi
Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallama Nabiyya" - I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad as my Prophet, Paradise would be
(made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud]
    11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise
    three times (Allahumma inni as'aluk
al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: "0
Allah! Enter him into Paradise!" And
    whoever seeks protection with Allah
(Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say:
"O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!" [TIRMIDHI]
    12.Whoever is easy-going, gentle
and kind, Allah will make the fire
    forbidden for him. [Hakim]
    13. In Paradise there are rooms
whose outside can be seen from the
inside and the inside can be seen
from the outside. Allah has prepared
them for those who feed the poor,
who are gentle in speech, who fast
regularly and who pray at night when
    (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad]
    14. Narrated from Abu Hurairah that
    the Prophet (blessings and peace
of Allah be upon him) said: "There
is a soorah of the Qur'an, with thirty
verses, that interceded for a man
until he was forgiven; it is 'Soorah
    Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi'l-mulk
(Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the
    dominion lal-Mulk 67:1]"
If you pass this on, It is Sadaqatul
Jaria. (meaning you keep on getting
rewarded for it, every time someone
acts upon it even when you have died, until the day of judgement).

And take a moment to feel good about yourself when you make good choices. Don't have a huge party with announcements, of course, just take a moment to silently acknowledge you did a good thing. Sometimes we beat ourselves up inside for our mistakes and don't acknowledge the little victories, kicking ourselves for all the times we gave in. I've heard it described like, "When you are training a dog to sit and they do, you don't kick and hit it."

For those suffering from any Haram addictions,
InshaAllah, This Method will work for curing your Addiction, It helped me
    First and foremost
    FEAR ALLAH AND REPENT everytime
    Cut the source of temptation
    • movies
    • social media etc.
    Whenever you commit this sin,
    perform Wudu
Sincerely Ask Allah for forgiveness then pray to 2 raka's of Salah of repentance (as a kaffara, if you do more pray 2×2 raka' or 3×2 raka' )
If praying 2 raka' s doesn't work keep increasing to 4, 6 and so on
Whenever there is an urge to do the sin you'll remember that you'll have to pray Salah.
And Shaitan doesn't want that, so he may avoid you from doing the sin in the first place.
The only condition is that you be Sincere,
Promise yourself that whenever you do the sin you'll pray Salat at taubah (prayer of repentance)
Al`hamdulillah, This works for any other Addiction of yours.

The fact that it's enough to draw tears shows a literal proof you, a man is scared to transgress against your creator, Allah has placed that within you because he loves you, how many brothers have lost that feeling? That shame, dissappintment? remember when you're alive Allah never closes the door on you, we do by saying Allah can't forgive us.
      Sahih al-Bukhari 7405
      Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' How to pray for forgiveness for MAJOR sins:
Conditions for sins to be forgiven:
      1. You genuinely regret the action
      2. You leave the sin
      3. Never return to it.
And of course, _beg_ Allah to forgive you for the sin you did.
You should recite a dua known as *_'Sayyid Al Istigfar'_* because it is the BEST dua for forgiveness:
Shaddad ibn Aws narrated that the Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] said; _"the most superior request for forgiveness is to say:_
      [Transliteration]:
      'Allaahumma anta rabbee,
      Laa illaaha illaa anta.
      Khalaqtanee wa ana 'abduka,
wa ana 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata't.
A'oothu bika min sharri ma sana't.
      Aboo'u laka bi ni'matika alayya,
      wa aboo'u laka bi thambee.
      Faghfir lee.
Fa innahoo laa yaghfiruth-thunooba illaa ant.'
      Meaning:
[O Allah, You are my Lord.
There is no god besides You.
You created me and I am Your servant,
following your covenant and [my] promise to you as much as I can.
I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have done.
Before You I acknowledge Your blessings bestowed upon me,
and I confess my sins to You.
      So forgive me,
for surely no one can forgive sins except You.]
The Prophet [صلى الله عليه وسلم] then added, 'Anyone who says this during the day, firmly believing in it, and dies before the evening; or says it in the evening, firmly believing in it, and dies before the following morning, will be among the people of paradise.' "
      [Sahih al-Bukhari, vol 8, pp212-3, no 318]
Try to say this dua after every prayer.
Also, after you have repented, try to do as many good deeds as you can.
May Allah (swt) forgive every Muslim.
You can share this dua by copying the text in my Just Paste It link and inshallah share in the reward: justpaste.it/5jvjn

Just don’t look. And don’t guilt yourself so much. Allah knows your intentions. And if you are sincerely making the effort, and if given the opportunity, would stop looking. He knows that. It’s the most difficult time in all of history for believers. We are so bombarded and desensitized by what’s being pushed at us through various outlets ( movies, ads, music, magazines, internet, tv, computers, dress code, norms, “typical” societal behavior, radios, even just driving we see advertisements )and subconsciously this has a serious effect on us. It’s unavoidable , unless you can manage to find a ancient society where Allahs laws still govern every facet of living. But unless you live in certain parts of the Middle East, it would be difficult to find. And a lot have already died in battle ( pbut). Just try your best, sincerely. The end days are gonna implode at any moment. Patience too. A salam

The best thing is finding love inside yourself. This can be through gratitude or by being triggered by someone or something loving. When in this state, any addiction feels like something distant that you'd have to actually exert considerable effort to go to and then crawl all the way back to how wonderful you currently feel. There is some back and forth while learning how things feel inside but I think at some point you can decide how you want to feel and then make a commitment to stay there.
