What is sad is that virtually everything in this clip, except Newport workshops and the red wooden carriages, was new and revolutionary during my lifetime. Am I getting old or are things being prematurely retired.
Thankfully A66 is V/Line Orange and Grey, so i can be compensated for the fact that SRHC will paint A60 VR Blue like they disgraced the P class, that like the A has NEVER worn that livery. Maybe 707 Ops might paint A62 and H5 like Y127?? One can only hope.
ThebusofdoomFSX basically there were around 2 dozen gunzels on platform 2 at kensington waiting for the UP transfer. But a spark was about to block them so everyone started running up To the down end of platform 2. Some were running dangerously close to the platform edge as the spark was approaching and the driver made sure to let them know how she felt about it! A few roots of the horn (and the spark driver radioing to the transfer which resulted in the transfer stopping short of platform 1) later... it was listed as an incident with MTM.
ThebusofdoomFSX ua-cam.com/video/Lmj7u40qa5c/v-deo.html in the first clip you can hear it unfold. I had swapped platforms because I checked whether a spark was likely to block platform 2
Good Work Adam, i saw SRHC at Kensington station and 707 operations at North Melbourne, What i found out was at North Melbourne you need a permanent to have a tripod at the station which is really annoying.
annoying. so use a fence or a wall. they would look stupid writing a law against that. i think i saw that using a camera at flinders street isn't allowed or need a permit or something. so they can't write a law against using the camera function on a phone. i can understand why there are such laws. stations are mainly for commuters who shouldn't have to look for camera tripod legs to trip over.
Jay’s Train Channel A66 is a spare loco. Stored in Bendigo Roundhouse. Not too sure on A70, as some have told me it will be preserved too and others have said its parts

Fantastic video mate, hopefully one day 60 may run again. At least 62 has been lucky enough and looks great now in it's V/line orange livery
I hope A60 and A62 both get repainted in to v/line grey orange because it would suit them better then VR blue orange.
VR Livery has been the rumoured livery for both locomotives. Some are saying that it could be Orange and Grey, and some say it could be teacup
Lachlan Smith orange and grey is the best stfu, but yes copyright
Knowing $RHC, A 60 will be Vee Arrrre Blue and yellow....err...gold!

Great video all round Adam. A nice mix of info titles, mainline running and behind the scenes stuff.
Hahaha sucks if someone would have been trying to film it from platform 1 at Coolaroo. Nice video!
ThebusofdoomFSX should’ve seen the debacle at Kensington 🤦♂️
@@lachlantrainvideos what happened at Kenso?
ThebusofdoomFSX what colour do you think A60 and A62 should be

Train Chaser Jesse if they call the police stand your ground, they have no right to prevent you filming a public place
" BRILLIANT "
fantastic. all of it.
Great video! I wonder what will happen to A66 and A70? Will they get scrapped or preserved too?

Lachlan’s Train Channel ok. I would say that one of them might be used for spare parts. V/line should bring back A66
Amazing video I was just up at the cross filmed there a south Dynon yard
