Fantastic video mate, would have been a good chase, a nice slow one too.
Fantastic to chase it on the saturday afternoon along with a few other cars.
The only downside was the light had well and truely gone by the time it got back to yarrawonga.
Would have been great to run this again when daylight savings is on like in early oct and be able to film it arrving at the station.
Looks like heritage groups are being very fast to buy some N classes! It's also great to see the Spirit of Progress coaches out again.
They're still with V/Line. They'll be offered to freight operators before heritage groups. N451 operated 707's tour to Mildura too.
It might be a good while before N's are given to heritage groups. N451 will need Leslie rs5t horns again if given to heritage I reckon

I’d like to see these N class carriages painted navy blue and gold as per the Spirit. In fact, can’t we have a train representing The Spirit of Progress look uniform instead of a bag of mixed lollies?

That was enjoyable. Nice filming as always. The poor old line looked very wobbly in places but at least there were some new concrete sleepers waiting patiently to be installed. 😊👍
