An improvement would be to work on a soft surface so that the puzzle does not make screeching noises all the time.

I had this puzzle once. With the use of a hacksaw, it only took me a couple of minutes to solve.

You arent supposed to use a hacksaw, you were supposed to actually solve it instead of cheating
@@i.c-0n188 first, it is a joke. Second, if I actually had the puzzle and couldn’t figure it out quickly, I probably would use a hacksaw, I am not a very patient person.

A lot is accident...he probably had a bunch of hardware smashed up and squished and found a similar looking object and was amused by it. So what did he do? Hmm
1:22 when I saw you screw that nut up the thread, I thought "Well, I know how the puzzle is done now".
I thought I can solve it in 5 minutes, but got stuck not knowing there is a small notch on the loop of one bolt.

I don't care for this type of puzzle. You can knot up a piece of string and it might take a long time to unknot it but that's not a fun puzzle. The best puzzles (for me) are the ones that seem difficult but you can do it quickly and easily once you find the solution.
This seems very inelegant to me. A good puzzle will slip apart like butter when done correctly. All the fussing and squeezing the parts past each other isn't at all satisfying.
Pffff, this is so easy.................now that I've seen how it's done!

How the hell did anyone discover a technical puzzle like this. Is beyond me.
This should have a difficulty rating of 1.
The solution comes to mind automatically after seeing the puzzle itself.
@@switchstatement568 I figured out before I watched the video. The truth is that there was only ever going to be one way of doing it so it was not difficult. I am no mastermind, so I take no great credit.

Puzzle guy, maybe add a backing under the metal to dampen the vibrations? The metal background actually looks good imo.
I tried to put soft cloth under the background, it didn't help. Actually, it's an old baking tray. Looks good, but sounds bad. 😄

The hardest part of solving this puzzle is getting the thing to actually mechanically cooperate with the moves you are trying to do.

I agree with others. You need some padding to cut down on noise in videos. A wooden (not metal) table would help as well.

Spent few hours with this puzzle screwing/unscrewing nuts. Solved it, but it drove me insane. Not elegant and pleasant to solve like other hanayamas..
I like this puzzle. I like all Hanayama puzzles even those what might drive me insane :)

I wasn't expecting that the nuts were allowed to move. What would have been a cool looking puzzle just got downgraded to being a pain in the ass.

One of the worst puzzles I ever tried. Very awkward moves and sometimes you even need some pushing with force..

I did not like this puzzle, I solved it but the solution requires excellent eyesight to see minute differences is dimensions, which to me is cheating on the part of the puzzle designer.
Try other Hanayama puzzles You will have more fun with them.
