The first time I flew Emirates out of London Gatwick flawlessly and on time just after a snowfall had gripped the UK. Our UK carrier, BA had been threatening flight cancellations due to weather. It later turned out that BA used the weather as an excuse to cover up a management v Staff/Pilot dispute. Bearing in mind the native climate of each respective country, that spoke volumes to me as a first time customer.
Hahahaha, that's what US carrier Southwest did last year when their archaic scheduling system simply failed. They kept blaming the winter weather. Then why were all of their rivals happily taking to the skies while Southwest stood around making up stories? Many people seem to forget the beginnings of Emirates. I used to fly Emirates CGK-SIN-CMB-DXB connecting to DXB-LGW/LHR (choice of LGW/LHR depending on day/availability). The murderous DXB-CMB-SIN-CGK were replaced by CGK-SIN-DXB (I think they swapped the DXB-SIN to become DXB-CMB-SIN... With the 777-300, they started the DXB-CGK direct... from 1x daily to now 3-4 daily. Their success is really, cargo... creating affordable economy class travel. Routes like Hamburg, and Newcastle, reflected this. There's a saying, there are 4 class of services in Emirates. First, Business, Cargo, and lastly, Self Loading Cargo. I kinda miss the Emirates of the A300/310 era. It had a real boutique airline feel back then!
I’ve been lucky to fly on their 777-300’s and A380’s and they are by far the best airline I’ve ever flown on, can’t wait to fly with them again in the future once Covid-19 has got itself off 🤞🏻

Meanwhile our Air Koryo was founded in 1955 and operate using only the finest Antonovs, Tupolevs, and Ilyushins given to us by our former Soviet friends (shed tear...it's just not the same). While the majority of our fleet are banned from EU airspace, our two Tupolev Tu-204 are not. Unfortunately, because it's the cringe and US-pilled EU, we will never be able to re-enter Europe.
I have flown Emirates recently, on a A380 from Toronto to Istanbul with a layover in Dubai. It was above and beyond any previous expectations I have. The aircraft, the service, food, entertainment. Surpass everything. I was on an economy class. I am guessing what might be business and first class. From now on, I would to flying only with Emirates. Hopefully to upgrade my seats for future trips.
Have fun walking hundreds of metre within the Emirates Terminal in Dubai. I usually dread booking Emirates into Dubai, because of the 15-20 min walk to baggage claim. Even during transit, I find myself walking a long distance from one gate to another.
Well, when I first flew to Dubai in 1989 I knew which flight I was booked on but never heard of Emirates then, until I saw this aircraft parked outside on the Tarmac of Delhi Airport and there was something I said to myself. WOW, what an aircraft with 4 colors on its wings until did I learn that Emirates carries its national flag on the tail. I can never forget that royal feeling I had when I flew Emirates the first time in 1989 with their logo in gold. Without doubts, I have flown this airline to various destinations due to its patriotic feeling it gives me as I still reside in Dubai eversince.
Emirates best around, flew AKL-MEL moving my family across to settle in Oz and a lot of boxes, Baggage etc, The airline was awesome and the Air New Zealand ground staff who help check us in, with the amount freight we brought with us. Thanks Air NZ & Emirates, we flew the A346 for the first time a very smooth capable aircraft.

Other airlines I flew with are Air New Zealand, Qantas, Japan Airlines, Nipon Air, Thai, Singapore, United, American, KLM, Brussels Airlines, SAS, Lufthansa, Cathay Pacific, and more but Emirates had the best service of them all. I still have to try Ethias and Qatar.
Since I fly from or to Abu dhabi, I cant since Emirates doesnt fly to AD which is Etihads hub, and vice versa for Etihad in regards to flying to Dubai.

@@ishansha7197 lol true the politicians and the public who elected them have ruined the country
What a great man Tim Clark is 🍸
Have flown with Gulf Air, Qatar Airways and Etihad, but never with Emirates. However, I have heard so strongly positive reviews of it, and now after having seen your video, I think I will choose Emirates over others (even if it may be slightly pricey).
Not to many er we want few er just few I need a380 back for delta for example my all flight is old so I need 380 back everything is old we need something new plane for 2023 and 2024 2024 2025 okay give it back
Many people seem to forget the beginnings of Emirates.
It had a real boutique airline feel back then!
emirates should be thankful to PIA
Yea
So Emirates was build up by PIA, that's crazy 😧
Great video, impressive track record for Emirates, a truly success story
I’ve been lucky to fly on their 777-300’s and A380’s and they are by far the best airline I’ve ever flown on, can’t wait to fly with them again in the future once Covid-19 has got itself off 🤞🏻
I flew Emirates in the early 2000’s. Now since they have introduced Premium Economy I am definitely going to try it the next time I travel to India.
That's what u get when a country has good leadership. Sheikh Al maktoum had a vision for his country and employed and retained the best skills globally and now look at Emirates and Dubai woooow excellence 🧡
I have flown with Emirates airlines several times and it was an awesome experience.. Especially the service the food the everything in it..
I have been with EK since 1995. We as a family is so used to the luxury and services that my children refuse to try another airline even when they are adults and having thier own decision making ability.
I'm so sorry for commenting without watching coz I love aviation & I just can't watch the disaster of PIA
Hi Kim, how is the weight loss program taking shape?
was on their a380 last year and it was glorious
I have flown Emirates recently, on a A380 from Toronto to Istanbul with a layover in Dubai. It was above and beyond any previous expectations I have. The aircraft, the service, food, entertainment. Surpass everything. I was on an economy class. I am guessing what might be business and first class. From now on, I would to flying only with Emirates. Hopefully to upgrade my seats for future trips.
I have travelled in Emirates and their services are very good.
Very informative!Lovely!
Tim Clarke you are the best at Marketing your premium products.
Flew with Emirates earlier this year..from Auckland to Dubai & then to Taipei, Taiwan. AWESOME AIRLINE👌
PIA or its replacement will soon emerge and success will follow.
Ameen
The best airline I’ve ever flown
Likewise, especially given the frequent free upgrades to business class I got on the DXB-KOL legs of my journeys ☺️
My First Experience was Emirates Airline.. From Zurich to Dubai.. it was Really Nice. Have Comfortable seats in Economy class.
I love flyging with Emirates
Great video & very interesting 👏👍
Emirates has airline service I have ever experienced so this video is right on everything
Without doubts, I have flown this airline to various destinations due to its patriotic feeling it gives me as I still reside in Dubai eversince.
most airlines have their national flags on the tail lol what do you mean
Flying with Emirates is always good
Emirates best around, flew AKL-MEL moving my family across to settle in Oz and a lot of boxes, Baggage etc, The airline was awesome and the Air New Zealand ground staff
who help check us in, with the amount freight we brought with us. Thanks Air NZ & Emirates, we flew the A346 for the first time a very smooth capable aircraft.
The best Airline in the business today by far. Truly the best travel partner to have. Keep up the great work.
You have just got a new subscriber
YES, several time in the last 20 years, EMIRATES is my top favourite airline and the A380 my top favourite airplane.
This is the best Airline I have flown so far. Their A380 flights are amazing and very comfortable to ride.
Best of the best airline so far 😊
Yes have flown many times times on Emirates climbing up the tier to Gold status tried most of the products from economy to business Aircrafts Airbus -330/340-300/600 380 B-777 200/300 ER .My favourite always will be the Airbus 340-600 .
YOU need to work on your mixing skills, the background music too loud.
I was almost flying on Emirates, I did fly with Qatar A380 on the Sydney-Doha route :D
I chose Qatar too for a flight from Singapore to Milan. I personally prefer Qatar.
Flew to Japan 2 times with Emirates. It's amazing
WOW!!!! This was very interesting
Wonderful documentary, appreciated.
I think Emriates will have good service so I'll try them in the future.
Flown with them twice: once to Dubai with the 777-300ER, and once to NewYork with the A380; both times in economy and it was awesome: a lot of legroom and the entertainment system was fantastic. You should definitely try
They used to be great but not any more. Try Qatar airways, thier business class is amazing.
@@ArkadyRenko1 My latest trip with them was the one to NewYork in January 2019. Never flown with Qatar, if I have the opportunity I wold love to fly with them
I flew a couple of times with them. on their 777-300 and A-380. All were great experiences.
Always a pleasure to fly Emirates ...
I've had the pleasure of flying many different airlines around the world visiting over 28 different countries but, Emirats is by far the best air carrier out there.
Simply Flying is great Channel 👍
I have nice travelled via PIA from Manila to Tokyo. Liked the service but wondered what happened to PIA shortly after!
Hope they keep their A380 or renewed models in the future. It's the smoothest plane i've been flying with. Great piece of aviation tech.
Emirates is definitely a remarkable success story... No Doubt about that, for sure
Emirates was and is great ... been on their A380, A340 and B777 aircrafts ... service was good ... and I do like their business class products.
@simpleflying Fantastic, please create more Airline History videos such as this. Easyjet, Ryanair, Cathay, Qatar Airways, Etihad etc... would be great. Such videos are quite useful for people invited to take part in interviews at these large airlines.
Impressive episode !
Nice....
Love both of ur channels and great content...
Always fan of Emirates travelling still round the world with them God bless them ....plus got lots of stuff from my sky reward card ...
That’s unbelievable. Considering where PIA is now., and where emirates is, it’s amazing that once the tables were reversed.
