It’s implied that the grimwalkers all betray Belos in their mid to late teens, and there are plenty of them. So for simplicity, let’s say every clone betrays Belos at sixteen years of age, and there has been twenty clones excluding Hunter. If Belos raised every clone from infancy, with the clones having the same lifespan as a human and or witch, that’ll mean belos has been making clones for 320 years with the clones growing up to sixteen years of age and there being twenty total (16•20).
I had a feeling that Flapjack's death was going to happen, but it still hurts. Like you said, this needed to happen for Hunter to completely break free of Belos' influence. Rest in piece Flapjack, you will be missed.

If Belos can gain power from absorbing palimans, why not Hunter? Heck, make it so that Hunter can actually perform magic thanks to Flapjack's gift.
And she handled it so well, she was honsetly always supportiveand proud of Luz and her quirks, she didn't want to send her to the camp, it was societys expectations that finally broke her down to do it....
I love that Camilla went with the group. In a lot of teen/kid adventure series, the parents right before the big battle or arc or whatever are just like "I believe in you sweetie!" And stay behind at home while their kid goes off to fight a giant kaiju or something. Camilla said, nah fam mama's going.
I agree! We don't get enough stories where the parent steps forward and enters the fight. This is a testament to what a loving and involved parent Camila is. She wants to BE THERE for her child. Not just emotionally, but PHYSICALLY. As she should! She is setting a good precedent for fictional parents who are usually so negligent or dead that they can't "get in the way" of the plot. Enough sweeping your older adult and middle aged parent characters under the carpet because they aren't the young and energetic leads. Get them into the mix and let them fight and prove their dedication.

Im going to miss the owl house when it's gone wish we could have got a full season maybe if we're lucky we can get some books or light novels or graphic novels that show more of The adventures of the hexide squad in the human world and maybe some other books that explore side stories like I would love a full book on the widdebane brothers backstory and how the older brother fully fell in love with who is clearly a clawthorn , or maybe even a book on Lucy's mom or maybe like a chapter on her and a graphic novel like her past dealing with bullies and stuff and when she was younger and then meeting Luzs dad so here's hoping we get some books

Some people can do that. My aunt doesn't like watching movies with her husband because he always figures out the plot twists and spoils it. That's why I avoid content that tries to predict twists, just in case they're right.
Given Hunter's comments about wanting to learn to carve Palismen and him becoming one with Flapjack. Alongside his new found love for wolves, I wonder if we'll see Hunter carve either a new Flapjack or instead a wolf since he may not want to simply replace Flap. Plus Flapjack is now sorta apart of him so, he may want a different design for his personal palismen. Though it's possible he may simply not get a new one at all
I find it interesting that Willow said as she entered the portal that they would return after “getting revenge”. The others’ primary goal is likely to save the Isles and their loved ones, to stop Belos, to be free, but Willow is the revenge type 🤔

Belos and even Darius seemed to show her limits, but in a funny Hunger Games video when she killed Belos, I whooped loudly. Nothing between her and Terra so Mark's comic will have to do.
One thing I'm curious on and I'm sure will be explained later is that Hunter's eye color changed from red to Brown after Flapjack healed him. I don't think it was an animation mistake since it stayed that color the rest of the episode. It it a way of Hunter becoming more of his own person or something else?

I think so. Especially when you see that the corrupted palisman in Belos lead to physical changes like his eyes turnung glowing blue and we also see that Hunter's eyes have changed after Flapjacks sacrifice I hope this points to a positive connection between their souls

This is a crazy theory, but we saw Flapjack sacrifice himself for Hunter, somewhat becoming apart of him. What if Evelyn did that to Flapjack first? It could’ve been a situation where Philip was trying to kill her and she knew he has to be stopped so she put a part of herself into flapjack and waited for the right time. So when Belos said goodbye Evelyn, he really meant it. That or she trained Flapjack really well.

I'm so glad someone else noticed this! Yeah, I think it's a sign Hunter completed his arc and became a real boy. I mean, we all considered himself such before, but grimwalkers are kind of like, a product of necromancy and it wouldn't be surprising if they aren't fully regarded as their own people or truly "alive" because of that. I think Flapjack's sacrifice likely cleansed him of the necromancy stain, even if he's been left with other scars.
Flapjack is basically now part of Hunter so I have a feeling that his powers are gonna manifest on Hunter somewhere during the last 2 episodes, Hunter is known to be powerless without an staff and now that flapjack is part of him now he might be able to use his powers. If that ever happens Hunter might realize that Flapjack still lives on inside him (at least that´s what I want to believe :c).

The 100th episode of Raven's Home, multiple episodes of Villains and Violet on Disney Plus with huge storyline developments AND the first out of three Owl House specials! I definitely know that this season shortage is gonna inspire even more fanfic that takes place on Earth!
Yea I was very good start to the end of Owl house. I was a bit worried about this season being shorted. But I'm just glad that its going very well and now I'm just counting down the days to see the next two specials in 2023.
Vee's design is cute, wish she could have more screentime. Its a shame cant have a season like Amphibia focusing on them adjusting to the human realm before returning for the conclusive battle.

Phillip and Caleb could have had like a cousin or something that couldn’t take them in or didn’t know of them. That did tend to be a thing in those days where you still had a family in general even if they don’t acknowledge you as being in their families.
I just started rewatching infinity train, and my rewatch of the last episode of season 3 landed the day after Thanks to them, I don’t know exactly what it is but Philip and his story just reminds me so much of Simon, and then you made the Vee comparison lol I just thought that was cool Also Simon is hands down one of my favourite cartoon antagonists ever and the way his story ends is something else
Luz's palisman might be a snake, BUT I REALLY HOPE IT'S A TITAN TO RESEMBLE KING- Also I feel like Hunter so be the one to finish Belos. Belos has given Hunter the most pain and trauma, and that would a way for him to get revenge and show he is done with him.
Luz's palisman could be a winged serpent like quetzalcoatl can make it a merge of both her families the wings representing Eda and the clawthorns, and the snake representing her human family but that's just a guess
God, I can only imagine how well they would've built up to the possession scene if they had the full season to do it. they did so well in 44 minutes, holy shit. The owl house not getting a full 3rd season is honestly devastating, but clearly they're doing their best with the time

With Hunter saying he wants to carve palismen during his arguing with Belos I could definitely see him carving a "New Flapjack" with Del not entirely a replacement but something new especially with Del not having the ability to carve palismen anymore and it would work well with the Caleb Clawthorn connections
Maybe Luz connects the two worlds in the season finale? I can see Camille choosing to decide to move to the boiling Isles at the end because Luz fits in so well there with her telling her coworkers and the principal of her school that she found a better place where Luz fits in. But that's just my canon.

The fight scene at the end reminded me of the fight scenes from the Star VS. The Forces Of Evil episodes Bon Bon The Birthday Clown and Starcrushed. The way Belos possesses Hunter was like how Toffee possessed Ludo, and Flapjack’s sacrifice was like Lekmeth’s just like Starcrushed. Plus the fight scene also took place in a cemetery graveyard just like Bon Bon The Birthday Clown.

Flapjack being a red cardinal honestly set him up to die from the beginning in my opinion. There's also the belief that red cardinals represent the deceased coming to check up on you so maybe flapjack was either Caleb or Evelyn sent to protect the grimwalkers after they passed on?

I noticed some people pointed out that Hunter's eyes changed from a dark red to a shade of brown that resembles Flapjack's, so that kinda proves that Flapjack is now apart of Hunter in a way.

My thoughts on the first The Owl House Special Thanks to Them, I love this first episode, and I am impressed with all the work Dana Terrace and her writing team put into this episode despite their limited time and how it works to make a satisfying episode. It is a testament to Dina Terrence and her writing team's skills in them putting so much of their previous storyline into this episode and seeing it naturally progress without it being rushed and feeling unnatural. I'm going to be real as much as I love this episode; I am disappointed that we did not get a third season to explore so much more of this world and the characters. So much interaction Camila could've had with the Luz friends (the Hexsquad), especially Amity and Hunter, though her relationship with the other teens is just as meaningful. Amity's mother sucked, and that's the nicest I can say about her, and Hunter never had any family other than his horrible uncle; again, that's the nicest I can describe his uncle. Camila could've been the mother figure they both needed in their lives, especially with Amity dating her daughter; seeing how serious Luz and Amity's relationship is, Amity could practically be family already. The time passes montage where we see the Hexsquad experience the human world could've been the first half of the season. Again it's a testament to the writing team's skill that they were able to fit the time passes montage that allowed us to see the witch teens experienced the human world for a bit. Luz Noceda coming back to her old school could've been an interesting idea. I recognize some of the side characters in her class from the first episode flashback of why she got into trouble. It could've been interesting seeing her relationship with her old classmates, especially with the fact that Vee had been impersonating her. And there are those two classmates that approached her; I love them, two new students that actually liked and accepted Luz, and there the fact that they are to first human teens to accept her as who she is. Tragically, we're likely never gonna see those teens again; I would've loved for them to become Luz friends. On Jacob Hopkins's appearance and fate, fans suspected that he would team up with Emperor Belos. As much as I would've loved to see that, I see Jacob Hopkins's fate being reduced to conspiracy theories no one believes and his ego costing him his job as a perfect punishment. Jacob Hopkin Being also reduced to a nuisance is also a perfect way to send off that character since this is someone who has so much pride in himself. But as much as that sucks, I'm going to enjoy the three specials we got and try not to be bitter, except at the people who shorten this season. Now onto the stuff, we got that I'd love. I love what they did with Camila Noceda. A minor group of the fandom believes that she's a bad parent. I never saw it; in the first episode, she was genuinely concerned about how Luz's behavior was both getting her into trouble and keeping her from making friends. Camila's concern for her daughter was the one that was only legitimate; she never judged her daughter or harshly told her that she needed to be normal. Instead, Camilla told Luz that while she loves her daughter's creativity, it's just getting out of hand. Camilla also said that while she loves how her daughter expressed herself, but if she can't separate fantasy from reality, she'll need to go to reality check summer camp. Later, when Camila was talking to Luz about going to camp, she pointed out that her fantasy world was holding her back and that if she had any friends, and the camp was an opportunity to make new friends. In Camila's next major appearance, she showed concern when Vee, disguised as her daughter Luz was throwing away Luz's favorite things. That shows that Camila was not against her daughter's interest or weird behavior; she just wanted her daughter to tone it down. I remember how Camila reacted when she learned the truth. Camila admitted to her daughter that she was barely holding it together, though she admits that she's happy that it appears Luz has matured. But when Luz let it slip that she chose to stay in another world, shock Camila asked if Luz was trying to live out a witch fantasy but then asked if her daughter hated living with her that much. Camila asked her daughter to promise her to stay here, telling Luz that she did not mean to drive her away and things would be different. That shows that while Camila was understandably shocked and angry, she blamed herself and wanted to fix her behavior so she would not lose her daughter. This all comes to a head in this episode. This episode reveals that Camila was actually very accepting of her daughter Luz's eccentric behavior and was truly proud and amused by her personality quirks and weird behavior. A lot of parents from animated shows and movies (I'd rather not name them) can learn a lot from Camila about being a good parent. Camila was so open-minded that she was not even concerned or embarrassed by Luz's behavior. I admit it if I was in Camila's place; I would've been a little concerned if my daughter had dug up snakeskin or used meat sausages for a Romeo and Juliet play. But then I realize Luz is not actually hurting herself or anyone. Despite my concerns, I was heartbroken and outraged by how those parents judged Camila and Luz. That scene with Camilla's principal was interesting; we learned that she was also bullied in high school, Luz's behavior is partly dealing with her grief for her father's death, and Camila was pressured into sending her to reality check camp. It's very clear that Camilla has nothing but concern and love for her daughter Luz. Camilla wants to protect her daughter Luz because she lost her husband, and it is deeply implied that she went through the things Luz is going through and that she was also an outcast with no friends. And Camila hopes by sending Luz to camp, she can have a better life and hopefully make some friends. And on the other things, I heard someone say that Principal Hal manipulated Camila into sending Luz to Reality Check Camp. I don't believe that; from what I saw in the first episode, I think he really did have good intentions, and if you look at it from his point of view, he was easy on Luz, he could've easily expelled her, and I believe his concerns were valid. Unfortunately, he unintentionally put too much pressure on Camilla, and since she was criticized by other parents before, she unintentionally bought old wounds from her. Learning the backstory of Philip and his brother Caleb was great. It was interesting to learn that they were both orphans and to fit into their new town, they both became witch hunters. I already guessed that Caleb was the older brother from seeing the pictures in Phillips's mind. Learning that Philip was indoctrinated into being a rich hunter at a young age to fit in with the rest of the town adds another layer of tragedy to the story, so Philip is not a sympathetic character and has lost whatever humidity he has. The battle with Emperor Belos was amazing, and the death of Flapjack was heartbroken. I'm glad that Camilla is coming with the kids, and it's implied that she is going to accept The Boiling Isles as a part of Luz's life. I think that Emperor Belos coming back to The Boiling Isles shows how delusional he is. Emperor Belos already used his best plan and failed, and it's unlikely he had a plan to defeat The Collector. I think the emperor bellows will likely die in the second special, and The Collector will be the main villain.
I just what to say after flapjack pasting and healed hunter, hunters eye colour changed maybe he is becoming a witch and his scar grew and that is what happens when you consume a palsman soul showed by belos!

Im just sayin the reveal that Luz got into Azura because of her dad just hits so hard, it really makes the connection Amity and her share over it that much more special both to us and to her
As much as I wanted Vee to go with the group too, it might have been better for her to stay on earth since it does help with making sure Luz and Camila aren't considered missing people if they ever go back to Earth again; ideally they'll be able to travel back and forth again after this is over. Also, Vee's character implied that she had no real interest in going back to the Boiling Isle after what she went through. Lastly, this will pretty much make it impossible for her character to be killed; I didn't think she would but given that we lost Flapjack I think it's possible we really can lose anyone.
I was sad when the death scene happen! Some theories actually happened and had so many feels, FlapJack will be missed…but died a hero in such a tear jerk way! Cannot wait to see TOH more and what’s to come next! :)
It hurts more when you realize this is the first time we’ve seen Hunter genuinely cry. He cried at the beginning of the episode to when Luz called him family, Witch adds more weight to that scene to. But this is the first on screen time that Hunter has just genuinely cry because He can’t handle what just happened. He was un a moment of intense weakness, just brought back from the dead, surrounded by his friends, and cried.
atm my headcanon is that hunter is gonna get goopy powers and work together with flapjack to contrast belos who is forcing his absorbed palismen to cooperate. also my other headcanon is that hunter will go inside his head and flapjack will take the form of either hunter in uniform or caleb since the palismen of belos took the form of him in his uniform cause that was the last thing they saw so they just remembered it

Hunter was wearing a bird costume in the intro and it could be foreshadowing 2. Hunter’s eyes turned brown when he came back to life and 3. It’s not a lot of proof but when he went through the portal he said, time to go home Flap.
I guess I agree with the people who have pointed out that Hunter has always been kind of a disability allegory, and just suddenly giving him powers would look a lot like "curing a disability", but I think there's a middle ground if they wanted to do something with it. Like maybe he could retain some limited version of the flash jumps ability Flapjack granted him. I also think it's enough that he just knows that Flapjack is there with him forever, however sad the circumstances of it were.

The fact that Hunter hurt his first friend and had no idea what he was doing, what was happening, and was definitely not in control at that moment hurt me the most. I have a feeling that Hunter is going to REALLY beat himself up about Flapjack's death and think that it was his fault he's gone is going to make me cry, I swear. I found a plot hole in the owl house: In season 3 ep1 Luz figures out that titans blood makes her glphys work. So how come in Season 1's finale When Luz fought Lilith in the human realm, King was with them so if Kings a titan how come it didn't work then?

The illustration for a Grimwalker shows them starting as a baby so Belos likely can’t control the age the Grimwalker starts as.

If Belos raised every clone from infancy, with the clones having the same lifespan as a human and or witch, that’ll mean belos has been making clones for 320 years with the clones growing up to sixteen years of age and there being twenty total (16•20).
I had a feeling that Flapjack's death was going to happen, but it still hurts. Like you said, this needed to happen for Hunter to completely break free of Belos' influence. Rest in piece Flapjack, you will be missed.

I love that Camilla went with the group. In a lot of teen/kid adventure series, the parents right before the big battle or arc or whatever are just like "I believe in you sweetie!" And stay behind at home while their kid goes off to fight a giant kaiju or something. Camilla said, nah fam mama's going.
I agree! We don't get enough stories where the parent steps forward and enters the fight. This is a testament to what a loving and involved parent Camila is. She wants to BE THERE for her child. Not just emotionally, but PHYSICALLY. As she should! She is setting a good precedent for fictional parents who are usually so negligent or dead that they can't "get in the way" of the plot.
Enough sweeping your older adult and middle aged parent characters under the carpet because they aren't the young and energetic leads. Get them into the mix and let them fight and prove their dedication.

Given Hunter's comments about wanting to learn to carve Palismen and him becoming one with Flapjack. Alongside his new found love for wolves, I wonder if we'll see Hunter carve either a new Flapjack or instead a wolf since he may not want to simply replace Flap. Plus Flapjack is now sorta apart of him so, he may want a different design for his personal palismen. Though it's possible he may simply not get a new one at all

Belos and even Darius seemed to show her limits, but in a funny Hunger Games video when she killed Belos, I whooped loudly.

One thing I'm curious on and I'm sure will be explained later is that Hunter's eye color changed from red to Brown after Flapjack healed him. I don't think it was an animation mistake since it stayed that color the rest of the episode. It it a way of Hunter becoming more of his own person or something else?
Flapjack has brown eyes so maybe it’s a little symbolic way to show that Flapjack is with him.

This is a crazy theory, but we saw Flapjack sacrifice himself for Hunter, somewhat becoming apart of him. What if Evelyn did that to Flapjack first? It could’ve been a situation where Philip was trying to kill her and she knew he has to be stopped so she put a part of herself into flapjack and waited for the right time. So when Belos said goodbye Evelyn, he really meant it. That or she trained Flapjack really well.

I'm so glad someone else noticed this! Yeah, I think it's a sign Hunter completed his arc and became a real boy. I mean, we all considered himself such before, but grimwalkers are kind of like, a product of necromancy and it wouldn't be surprising if they aren't fully regarded as their own people or truly "alive" because of that. I think Flapjack's sacrifice likely cleansed him of the necromancy stain, even if he's been left with other scars.

Flapjack is basically now part of Hunter so I have a feeling that his powers are gonna manifest on Hunter somewhere during the last 2 episodes, Hunter is known to be powerless without an staff and now that flapjack is part of him now he might be able to use his powers. If that ever happens Hunter might realize that Flapjack still lives on inside him (at least that´s what I want to believe :c).

The 100th episode of Raven's Home, multiple episodes of Villains and Violet on Disney Plus with huge storyline developments AND the first out of three Owl House specials! I definitely know that this season shortage is gonna inspire even more fanfic that takes place on Earth!

Phillip and Caleb could have had like a cousin or something that couldn’t take them in or didn’t know of them. That did tend to be a thing in those days where you still had a family in general even if they don’t acknowledge you as being in their families.

I just started rewatching infinity train, and my rewatch of the last episode of season 3 landed the day after Thanks to them, I don’t know exactly what it is but Philip and his story just reminds me so much of Simon, and then you made the Vee comparison lol I just thought that was cool

God, I can only imagine how well they would've built up to the possession scene if they had the full season to do it. they did so well in 44 minutes, holy shit. The owl house not getting a full 3rd season is honestly devastating, but clearly they're doing their best with the time
It occurs to me that since they brought up snake's shedding skin and getting bigger in the episode, if Luz's palisman is a snake it may be able to get bigger. That may even end up being important for the endgame.
I kinda knew that Flapjack was going to bite it, but that didn't stop the death from devastating me.
Could it be that in the end Vee sacrifices herself by absorbing all the magic she can from the collector, but is it so much that she doesn't resist it and explodes?

Maybe Luz connects the two worlds in the season finale? I can see Camille choosing to decide to move to the boiling Isles at the end because Luz fits in so well there with her telling her coworkers and the principal of her school that she found a better place where Luz fits in.

The fight scene at the end reminded me of the fight scenes from the Star VS. The Forces Of Evil episodes Bon Bon The Birthday Clown and Starcrushed. The way Belos possesses Hunter was like how Toffee possessed Ludo, and Flapjack’s sacrifice was like Lekmeth’s just like Starcrushed. Plus the fight scene also took place in a cemetery graveyard just like Bon Bon The Birthday Clown.
I have a feeling this means Hunter will finally be able to use real magic

I’m so glad I watched your previous videos about flapjack dying before I watched thanks to them bc I did not want to be caught off guard with a that kind of reveal. Great work interpreting the story, it really does make sense for flapjack to die, even if it’s not something anyone wanted
My thoughts on the first The Owl House Special Thanks to Them, I love this first episode, and I am impressed with all the work Dana Terrace and her writing team put into this episode despite their limited time and how it works to make a satisfying episode. It is a testament to Dina Terrence and her writing team's skills in them putting so much of their previous storyline into this episode and seeing it naturally progress without it being rushed and feeling unnatural.
I'm going to be real as much as I love this episode; I am disappointed that we did not get a third season to explore so much more of this world and the characters.
So much interaction Camila could've had with the Luz friends (the Hexsquad), especially Amity and Hunter, though her relationship with the other teens is just as meaningful. Amity's mother sucked, and that's the nicest I can say about her, and Hunter never had any family other than his horrible uncle; again, that's the nicest I can describe his uncle. Camila could've been the mother figure they both needed in their lives, especially with Amity dating her daughter; seeing how serious Luz and Amity's relationship is, Amity could practically be family already. The time passes montage where we see the Hexsquad experience the human world could've been the first half of the season. Again it's a testament to the writing team's skill that they were able to fit the time passes montage that allowed us to see the witch teens experienced the human world for a bit.
Luz Noceda coming back to her old school could've been an interesting idea. I recognize some of the side characters in her class from the first episode flashback of why she got into trouble. It could've been interesting seeing her relationship with her old classmates, especially with the fact that Vee had been impersonating her. And there are those two classmates that approached her; I love them, two new students that actually liked and accepted Luz, and there the fact that they are to first human teens to accept her as who she is. Tragically, we're likely never gonna see those teens again; I would've loved for them to become Luz friends.
On Jacob Hopkins's appearance and fate, fans suspected that he would team up with Emperor Belos. As much as I would've loved to see that, I see Jacob Hopkins's fate being reduced to conspiracy theories no one believes and his ego costing him his job as a perfect punishment. Jacob Hopkin Being also reduced to a nuisance is also a perfect way to send off that character since this is someone who has so much pride in himself.
But as much as that sucks, I'm going to enjoy the three specials we got and try not to be bitter, except at the people who shorten this season.
Now onto the stuff, we got that I'd love.
I love what they did with Camila Noceda. A minor group of the fandom believes that she's a bad parent. I never saw it; in the first episode, she was genuinely concerned about how Luz's behavior was both getting her into trouble and keeping her from making friends. Camila's concern for her daughter was the one that was only legitimate; she never judged her daughter or harshly told her that she needed to be normal. Instead, Camilla told Luz that while she loves her daughter's creativity, it's just getting out of hand. Camilla also said that while she loves how her daughter expressed herself, but if she can't separate fantasy from reality, she'll need to go to reality check summer camp. Later, when Camila was talking to Luz about going to camp, she pointed out that her fantasy world was holding her back and that if she had any friends, and the camp was an opportunity to make new friends. In Camila's next major appearance, she showed concern when Vee, disguised as her daughter Luz was throwing away Luz's favorite things. That shows that Camila was not against her daughter's interest or weird behavior; she just wanted her daughter to tone it down. I remember how Camila reacted when she learned the truth. Camila admitted to her daughter that she was barely holding it together, though she admits that she's happy that it appears Luz has matured. But when Luz let it slip that she chose to stay in another world, shock Camila asked if Luz was trying to live out a witch fantasy but then asked if her daughter hated living with her that much. Camila asked her daughter to promise her to stay here, telling Luz that she did not mean to drive her away and things would be different. That shows that while Camila was understandably shocked and angry, she blamed herself and wanted to fix her behavior so she would not lose her daughter.
This all comes to a head in this episode. This episode reveals that Camila was actually very accepting of her daughter Luz's eccentric behavior and was truly proud and amused by her personality quirks and weird behavior. A lot of parents from animated shows and movies (I'd rather not name them) can learn a lot from Camila about being a good parent. Camila was so open-minded that she was not even concerned or embarrassed by Luz's behavior. I admit it if I was in Camila's place; I would've been a little concerned if my daughter had dug up snakeskin or used meat sausages for a Romeo and Juliet play. But then I realize Luz is not actually hurting herself or anyone. Despite my concerns, I was heartbroken and outraged by how those parents judged Camila and Luz. That scene with Camilla's principal was interesting; we learned that she was also bullied in high school, Luz's behavior is partly dealing with her grief for her father's death, and Camila was pressured into sending her to reality check camp. It's very clear that Camilla has nothing but concern and love for her daughter Luz. Camilla wants to protect her daughter Luz because she lost her husband, and it is deeply implied that she went through the things Luz is going through and that she was also an outcast with no friends. And Camila hopes by sending Luz to camp, she can have a better life and hopefully make some friends.
And on the other things, I heard someone say that Principal Hal manipulated Camila into sending Luz to Reality Check Camp. I don't believe that; from what I saw in the first episode, I think he really did have good intentions, and if you look at it from his point of view, he was easy on Luz, he could've easily expelled her, and I believe his concerns were valid. Unfortunately, he unintentionally put too much pressure on Camilla, and since she was criticized by other parents before, she unintentionally bought old wounds from her.
Learning the backstory of Philip and his brother Caleb was great. It was interesting to learn that they were both orphans and to fit into their new town, they both became witch hunters. I already guessed that Caleb was the older brother from seeing the pictures in Phillips's mind. Learning that Philip was indoctrinated into being a rich hunter at a young age to fit in with the rest of the town adds another layer of tragedy to the story, so Philip is not a sympathetic character and has lost whatever humidity he has.
The battle with Emperor Belos was amazing, and the death of Flapjack was heartbroken. I'm glad that Camilla is coming with the kids, and it's implied that she is going to accept The Boiling Isles as a part of Luz's life.
I think that Emperor Belos coming back to The Boiling Isles shows how delusional he is. Emperor Belos already used his best plan and failed, and it's unlikely he had a plan to defeat The Collector. I think the emperor bellows will likely die in the second special, and The Collector will be the main villain.
I just what to say after flapjack pasting and healed hunter, hunters eye colour changed maybe he is becoming a witch and his scar grew and that is what happens when you consume a palsman soul showed by belos!
Quick question, in hollow mind belos seemed to be tortchered by the palesmen souls, guilt tripping him. So does that mean Hunter will be able to communicate with Flapjack? (I apollagize for my bad spelling)

As much as I wanted Vee to go with the group too, it might have been better for her to stay on earth since it does help with making sure Luz and Camila aren't considered missing people if they ever go back to Earth again; ideally they'll be able to travel back and forth again after this is over. Also, Vee's character implied that she had no real interest in going back to the Boiling Isle after what she went through. Lastly, this will pretty much make it impossible for her character to be killed; I didn't think she would but given that we lost Flapjack I think it's possible we really can lose anyone.

It hurts more when you realize this is the first time we’ve seen Hunter genuinely cry. He cried at the beginning of the episode to when Luz called him family, Witch adds more weight to that scene to. atm my headcanon is that hunter is gonna get goopy powers and work together with flapjack to contrast belos who is forcing his absorbed palismen to cooperate. also my other headcanon is that hunter will go inside his head and flapjack will take the form of either hunter in uniform or caleb since the palismen of belos took the form of him in his uniform cause that was the last thing they saw so they just remembered it
Have any of you noticed hunters eyes after flapjack heals him. There not red anymore, they are brown. That would mean that hunter is now not a clone of Caleb, HE IS CALEB!!!!😱

I’m not the only one who thinks that Hunter could have powers after flapjack’s sacrifice? Either magic or maybe some kind of transformation like Eda because 1. Hunter was wearing a bird costume in the intro and it could be foreshadowing 2. Hunter’s eyes turned brown when he came back to life and 3. It’s not a lot of proof but when he went through the portal he said, time to go home Flap.
I guess I agree with the people who have pointed out that Hunter has always been kind of a disability allegory, and just suddenly giving him powers would look a lot like "curing a disability", but I think there's a middle ground if they wanted to do something with it. Like maybe he could retain some limited version of the flash jumps ability Flapjack granted him. I also think it's enough that he just knows that Flapjack is there with him forever, however sad the circumstances of it were.

(At 8:10) despite he didn't look the part, considering all the flesh he's been consuming that weren't human (unless you count the previous grimwalker's remains in the head of the Titan), Belos really WAS mutated into a Wendigo.

I think possesed Hunter needed more screen time, I've been brainrotting over him since I saw the episode! I know they didn't really have time for it but I wish we could've seen more of him.
Maybe Eda can give Hunter some palistrom bark and teach him how to carve a new Flapjack
As healing as that might be, it would feel like the death of flapjack would be completely useless. I honestly would like to see Hunter deal with the death and heal a bit, best boy deserves to heal
Eda's father will surely have many palismans equal to his so maybe in the end he will give him one of those
The fact that Hunter hurt his first friend and had no idea what he was doing, what was happening, and was definitely not in control at that moment hurt me the most. I have a feeling that Hunter is going to REALLY beat himself up about Flapjack's death and think that it was his fault he's gone is going to make me cry, I swear. Goddamn, this show gives me emotional damage x1,000. Also, fuck Belos. :3

She probably had it tbh. I thought about that too but knowing animation they just forgot to show that detail.
I am so glad that Camila went with them. Like what kind of parents would have their kids go into a DEMON world without them. She gotta make sure her kids are safe. Just like Eda when she wanted to protect Luz from things children shouldn't needed to be fighting.

I found a plot hole in the owl house: In season 3 ep1 Luz figures out that titans blood makes her glphys work. So how come in Season 1's finale When Luz fought Lilith in the human realm, King was with them so if Kings a titan how come it didn't work then?
