Thanks for sharing, I need to trim my trees in my backyard to maximize my panels and there in a hill about 60ft tall, In November my trees shade my panels, what sucks is my batteries can't keep up, even a chimney can drop your setup watt avr.. I'm going to make a 1kw solar tracking setup on my TV tower, this one will be on its own

Nice! What type of panels do you currently have in your system? Certain panels are equipped with better shade mitigation topology than others. Do you have optimizers or micros?

Thank you for your video. I'm looking to put a system up on my metal roof. It seams that the only one looking out for me is you.

Just found your channel, great info for a solar newbie. Here's my question...I want to replace my 30 yr old roof before going solar, is it important to inform the roofing company I hire that I plan to install solar on the roof? (I live in Southern California, Google sunroof says I have 1,992 of useable sunlight/year, with 1,427 sq.ft. for panels)

Not necessarily. They wouldn’t do anything different on their end if they knew you were adding solar panels. Just give the roof a month to sit before you have solar installed, so it has enough time to fully stick.
