I hope it isn't the end of corrections, but if it is, it was an amazing run! Honestly, such a unique segment. I haven't seen a show like this that is only written week-to-week with such extensive call-backs and layering of jokes - Seth made a whole comedic lore and language for corrections. And with audience engagement! What a joy to watch every week!

learning via mike scollin’s insta story that he played mac tonight in this was an even bigger jump scare than mac himself. i didn’t recognize him with a giant moon head-or with sleeves!

Shout-out to the lighting crew for that hallway setup, it looked great and was probably tricky to rig up.
Captions says "thunder clapping". Is that because the audience isn't?
Their lights are all probably wirelessly controlled and RGB And they added some rope lights up where they removed ceiling tiles. They could also be hardwired in via DMX. Most lighting apps have a lightning or TV or broken bulb effect preprogrammed

@@s1135274 amber is an amazing writer and her performances during the show that are filmed for television are fantastic. Corrections is miles ahead of anything any late night host has ever created. This applies especially to comedic substance, engagement with the audience, and reliance on meta understanding, to name but a few things.
It's right up there, but Conan still regins. We're lucky to live in a world with both.
I feel less weird knowing that all of you Jackals enjoy Corrections as much as I do.

I know Corrections should win an Emmy and because of that, Seth should host the Emmys so that he can do the opening monolog like it is an episode of Corrections - desk and all. No suit, this level of energy, and with the same pauses & note-taking.
Internet people always gripe about award show jokes, so we might as well give them the most tv inside joke ever to hate on while we all lose our minds at how great this moment in history is.
If he hosts the Emmys a stylist will have to tend to his c-minus bush
The Mac cliffhanger was beautiful. The eclipse effects. The cliffhanger jokes. Absolutely perfect. I wondered why Seth wasn't doing something similar to the Spec-Jackular, but this was more true to who Seth is.

I just want to say thank you. I’ve refrained from being a jackal but look forward to this every week. You’ve helped me through COVID and beyond. I’m currently recovery from surgery and have gone through every episode on shuffle and the chaos is magical. Since surgery isn’t cheap, I need every Buck I can get. Cheers

I consider myself lucky to have had the front row seat to Seth’s madness these past 3 years and 100 episodes. If this truly is the end, I have nothing left to do than tip my hat to you for the laughs and groans you’ve given me. Corrections is hands down in my top 3 things I’ve ever seen on UA-cam.

I feel like the ACL on the Arizona law should become some kind of historical document or something. It was perfect in every way.
He's the only one I still watch, every night. Sometimes I catch Colbert on the weekends, but I don't have time for much now so this my only indulgence in weeknight entertainment. Seth and Amber and all these folks are my kinda people.

I watched corrections since episode 1 and grew with it. It helped me through the pandemic and never failed to cheer me up.

The Corrections segment really feels like meeting old friends where communication is 80% inside jokes.
You and the team are so chill and relaxed with the audience. It's such a lovely and fun way of staying in touch after we all got to hang out in your attic for a few months.

And i think Corrections will continue, because Seth's wife is probably already sick of hearing his puns, and his other friends don't laugh when he talks about Mikey the Shoe, they quake in fear. So, he will return when he needs another venue where he can force his employees to drink with him, and where he can plug podcasts.

If, sir, you are truly done with Corrections, then I, for one, will miss them! I used to watch your show to unwind in bed at night but with the introduction of Corrections, I found I could no longer fall asleep to them because I was vigilantly watching for mistakes that would show up in Corrections. But it was your truly unhinged sense of comedy that kept me coming back for more. This episode has been avoided for a few weeks now because I didn't want to see it end. But what an ending it was! Bravo! And thank you for the time well wasted!
Just watched A Closer Look from today, and got to see the new outro before this even came out. Waited for the podcast tie-in that never came. Felt like I was bamboozled.

I love how most of the Jackals are in a zen peace with the possibility of Corrections’ end. It has, as you indicate beautifully been our companion through many a milestone, through ups and downs. And I think it’s given us the mental adjustment to deal with the insanity of the world.

Oh, my turn to be a jackal. Okay… they don’t set a criminal free if they aren’t Mirandized. They just can’t use any incriminating stuff they say in court unless they’re Mirandized before questioning. There could be evidence other than what the arrested party says that would be enough to keep them in jail.

@sherinameless1618 Yes they do. All vehicular crimes are permissible until you hit something. (The CPD hates making traffic stops). It's actually almost enjoyable watching 87th Street get turned into a drag-strip by amateurs who don't know that Stony Island is the real deal if you know where.

Even if Seth has to take a break from Corrections to start 5 new podcasts, or sleep, we will always worship him as the embodiment of comedy that he is. We also pledge to correct every one of his future endeavors until the end of time. If he is just messing with us about ending Corrections, we will send nice postcards to his in-laws home, and you know we can do it!
I have to say, if this is actually the last corrections ever (though I hope it's not), that is one of the greatest cliffhangers I have ever seen 😂

Look, I started watching FROM EPISODE 1 as per your recommendation at the end of A Closer Look. After many, many enjoyable hours of Corrections, I have finally seen them all and can’t start enjoying Corrections to shows I have actually seen, and recently too. You simply CANNOT stop doing Corrections now!
