Cough, cough, ummmmmpppphhhh ummmpphhh. I just wanted to say that Grace and I have been on many adventures with you and haven’t received our Kershaw utility knives… Haha! JK. Great episode! Editing was on point! I was wondering how I was going to do the Episode of Medano Pass and it was completely different. That’s such a good thing! Different perspectives! But the part about the recovery was so well done, I think I’m just going to screen capture and put it in my video 😜. Haha! JK as well! Good work Alan!
Lol! Do what you want with the video, Jon. Lemme know if you need original source. I will reward you and Grace by buying your Kayak!!!! Excited to see your perspective. It's definitely going to be more informative than this video. I'm just trying to get across how much fun Colorado was. 🌏🏔️
@@GotterAdventure I think with just a simple tow up like that it wasn't as risky as if it was a true recovery pull. I just mentioned it as food for thought for future pulls... It's the safety mindset coming through from my work.
My son Casey enjoyed making the trip with all of you. He called and sent pictures. Your footage was Amazing. Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing, and stay Safe.
Wow! You're so blessed to have such a great son 👍. It was awesome meeting him and seeing his Honda Pilot in person. I'll be sure to send him more footage as I get through editing next episodes. Your support and encouragement keeps me going, Mark.
Aaron you and the fam been releasing content so fast! This trip was a blast. I really dig both Honchos & your Pilot builds. Got me in the Honda mindset so much that I picked a Honda up myself. Official disclosure in a future video!
I think I figured out what happened to my UofSC front plate! Xterra goes into the water crossing at 12:48 nothing wrong with front plate. Xterra comes out of water crossing at 12:55 front plate hanging off. I don’t remember hitting anything there though! There was a spot further down the trail where the bumper hit something and what I heard must have been the plate getting torn off! Wow.
Yep, the water will definitely mess with the front plate if you hit it too fast. My front plate on the 4Runner got all bent up on that same water crossing a few weeks ago.
Enter from the east side but they will charge you when or if you exit through the park gate. If you go back the way you came no fee for anything. Times before they charged per vehicle.... now its per person

It’s a good thing Aaron’s tow point held up considering you and Ian were in the line of fire if it had come off!!
@@Mike.D.843 you've got a point. ⚡ dangerous taxi 🚖
@@Mike.D.843 I am thankful my secondary front tow point held too!

The mosquitoes don't get you on the actual Dunes. Along the creek they are thick
