Thank you sharing your vacation. The views are awesome. You stated you are from Texas. We live South of Houston and as you know beach life is always there available. Can't wait to travel. Stay Safe and God Bless
One of the first times I ever traveled over the east side of Medano Pass I was with my uncle. We took a Model A Ford. It of course was two wheel drive but the only trouble we had was the gravity flow fuel. On a couple occasions we had to roll back down a hill, restart the engine and then back up the hill so the fuel would continue to flow from the tank located in the dash. I grew up in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Music Pass was the tough one.
When you mentioned game it reminded me we used to go to the Medano for a Colorado trophy buck season. A lot of hunters did the same thing. One year we were in camp after being there a few days and some campers that had been camped above us were leaving. They had a home made camper on the back of their pickup and as they drove by our camp I saw a bear standing on the little porch of their camper and they couldn't see it. As they drove by the next camp down a hunter in that camp shot the bear off the back of their camper because he had a license. The hunting was mostly above timber line. The Medano Lake it a small wonder to behold. It's shallow water out maybe 75 feet or so and then turns black because of the depth. There used to be some very large beaver dams just below the lake. It's a good hike to get there though.
Our favorite trail so far for a little bit of everything. Great area to spend the night. Been twice but still would do it again espcially as part of a larger trip.
I recently took my bronco up the auto road at Mount Washington and at one of the over looks I found some plastic water bottles stuffed in the bush's. Of course grabbed them and put them in the bronco. Those are most definitely bear tracks. Awesome camping set up and looked like a really great location. I like seeing the stuff in video that is not shown as often
A buddy and I attempted to make medano in our F150s last year on our way up from new Mexico. I got my running board stuck on a large boulder about half way up and had to turn around. I swore I would come back with my bronco. Now that I have it I need to make that pass again.
Chase, finally got my Wildtrak after 15 month wait. And changed my name to Blue Horse. Love your content bro. You are inspiring me to do this too. Don’t know very much about you tubing yet but it looks so fun to adventure and make vids with the Bronco. Keep it up man!

@@BlueHorse22 dude congrats on the WT! Best model but I’m biased lol 😂 thanks off watching my content too btw🙏
Kinda odd question, but how tall are you two ? I have a gfc and my feet hit the wedge so I'm looking for something different.
I’m 5’11”
*2:30** That's a rookie move to go 4L at that point, kinda premature FJackulating just cuz its a dirt road.*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 more like mechanical sympathy. But rookies wouldn’t understand what that means I guess.
I Don't know if it's just me, but a lot of your affiliate links aren't working.
I didn’t know that!🙏 Thanks for letting me know
Get a girl/wife that looks at you how she looks at him. Cool rig, great video.
