Brother ... you have to have part of my Dad's genetics! I've been following your restoration videos like a daily devotional. I lost my Dad over 20 years ago. Before we (my other 4 siblings and I) came along, he was a car freak! Of course he was born in the '20s and coming up, if you had a car, you were "somebody"! My older brother and I have been discussing and recollecting memories of Daddy's cars and this is the list we've come up with. '49 Ford rag-top, '51 Buick, '54(?) Studabaker P/U, '56 and '57 Oldsmobile (Delta 88?), early '60's Renault, Vintage '64 1/2 Mustang, Mid '60's Corvair (almost killed him), '62 Impala (327), '66 Ford F-100 P/U (I have tons of history on this one ... I grew up driving it daily), but his favorite(s) was his '57 MGA (which was already a classic!). He bought it in the late 60's and shortly thereafter another for parts. We moved from TN to AR in '72 and took them with us where they sat out in a field for years. The MG's are long gone with the farm, but the memories remain. Had he had the opportunity to restore his, it would have been just like yours ... every nut, bolt and washer from the ground up would have been painted, polished or replaced! I have a lot of old paperwork, service manuals, etc. that you might like. I'll never use them and you seem like a "purist" that could appreciate them. Wish I knew how to upload pics here to show you his. Can't wait to see and hear the finished ride! Blessings!

If you want to route the fuel line correctly it runs from the tank to the outside of the chassis, along the outside of the chassis and then back in under the chassis in front of the shock absorber. The body mounts across the frame where you have the fuel pipe above it so you will not be able to mount the body to the frame. There are some pictures on the mgaguru site. Constructive comment not critical. The build is looking good though.

I'm looking at a 60 MGA, and it has clutch problems. The guy told me it was burnt and frozen. The motor is painted nice like it was pulled, I have no idea why they didn't fix the clutch. Maby the disk is in backwards. My question is must I pull the motor to get at the clutch?

Hey thanks Bradley! Yes we’re doing a black exterior and tan interior! That would be very cool! The guy that owns this car has his triumph lined up after this then I’d be open to whatever!

Very well made, but the music (why always!) Is awful!

I was interested in the carb build but aven at the slowest speed I could not see what you were doing.
I was disappointed as I wanted to see how you mount the needles. Music is annoying.
Speed is way too fast to allow me to learn anything.
