Hi. I am from Germany...just bought a 1962 in bad conditions....I am surprised that you are using rattle cans for all the paint jobs....I wouldn't trust that one's you can buy in harbor freights here but can you send me some information about the ones you used, than I could try to find similar ones here? I like your videos a lot.
I'm looking at a 60 MGA, and it has clutch problems. The guy told me it was burnt and frozen. The motor is painted nice like it was pulled, I have no idea why they didn't fix the clutch. Maby the disk is in backwards. My question is must I pull the motor to get at the clutch?
I notice you put the "lead in" edge of the brake the opposite way on, for direction of wheel travel/ Drum rotation. The end of the shoe where the material is removed should be up on (Drivers) left front and down for the back shoe Passenger side again the front shoe should be the one with the material missing to the top and the back shoe down To my understanding that how they go for better braking. hope this helps Check it out and let me know
I quite like these videos BUT they do not show any restoration of the car or its components, only the reassembly of restored components. They are almost like a factory build. Quite good if you are taking apart your own MGA but not if you need to make a repair or a body restoration.
I love these videos. These videos show progress and are so inspirational. There are many videos elsewhere that do that. Try Matthew Randall's. Not being snarky.
You work fast - looks great
Very cool things you’re doing, young man. Cool hat too.
Great job! The body work and painting next.
Did you mention somewhere that this is not an MGA rear axle and rear brakes? If you did , I missed it.
It’s off an MGB…
