In 1965, I bought a 1957 MGA, black with red leather interior for $500. as my first car at age 19! Unfortunately, even though the car was in good exterior shape, the former owner didn't tell me that a 'rod' was nearly 'blown', so I wound up selling it to a Foreign car junk yard for $100. for parts! I wish that I had a place to store it because I would have had "the last laugh" to still own it!

I had a 1962 MGA MKII and I could wax it in 15 minutes. No wire wheels so getting it date-ready was a breeze. It was always super clean.
