I love how you can actually build into the terrain. In Valheim the terrain above would crumble if you tried to build under it. I will love building an underground hobbit home
This isn't Valhiem. There's a lot of differences, one can exist independently of the other. Valhiem is great for what it is. I'm sure this game will be a blast too
This game looks interesting, but it is definitely missing Valheim's feel so far. Obviously we can't see deep into the game but the real freedom you have in the world is also a Valheim standout. Curious to see if this game develops that.

It's 22 january today, in 2 days Enshrouded wil be here, i cannot wait to build my cosy fantasy village! I can just design my houses on paper now, preparing and surviving upcoming two days :)Your hobbit house is so nice!!!
If I were you I would move the bed to where the flame is and vice versa. You would never place a bed directly in front of the entrance door. You want the bed to be the furthest from the entrance as possible and in the most private and shielded position you possible can, in this case, the left corner. Perhaps you could also create some simple separation aswell, with some shelves. Also, add a small table and/or chair near the bed, it adds to the cozyness, especially if you also have a carpet of some sort, like an animal pelt.
Yah! It’s definitely not a very complete build but it was fun to try. I did a better one in a more recent video on building a cozy forest house :) that one has some more interior done on it
I was shouting, "The rake! Use the rake!", at the video for like 30 mins while you were trying to get that flame inside. You gotta use your rake more often, dude! Leveling that bump in the middle would have fixed it right away. There was a bump that was pushing it 1m above your floor line and then everywhere around it was 1m below your floor line. Just leveling it would have fixed all that in a jiffy. Love your video! Great build! Can't wait to build my own Hobbiton!
as an old landmark player, i really did enjoy watching this (voxel) build. landmark had a smoothing tool, with which you could make clean circles, ovals and other objects. you could take 3d objects copy it and use it as a cutting tool, extracting copied 3d object out of stuff. i built an entire colosseum, very satisfying. this is the next best thing to landmark for sure.
As someone still on the fence about buying his title, this was fantastic. I love that most of my favorite terraforming aspects from games like Space Engineers and valheim are included in this title (given they're all voxel, it's somewhat expected), and it seems this game refines it even further. And seeing you dig this out really showcased this feature. I've watch a fair bit of content and find the apparent mix of Breadth of the Wild meets Valheim to be quite alluring. I also loved the MineCraft approach of barrowing "block" and building materials from other locations on the map. It seems the Dev's really did their homework and combined a winning collection of mechanics. And as someone usually drawn to 'survival builders', this is looking more and more like a must buy for me. Thank you for the insight
I'm so pumped for this game, I've always appreciated completely open building games, I think this game takes building and terraforming to a new level!! I'd always build my Space Engineers bases underground, huge structures all mined underground and almost undetectable
I am loving this build, so cozy! For some reason, I missed this game during the trial. However it comes out tomorrow for early access and I am getting it!
Amazes me every build I've seen and the level of detail players achieve. This is easily the best front to a hobbit hole style house I've seen in Enshrouded.
the rack mechanic is better than valhiems for sure, it is doing like 2 ticks per second while channeling. Rather than one big chunk at once, you can watch it raise/lower and stop it exactly where you want it. In valhiem you need to stand in the exactly right spot to level the trail on a gradual up/down grade. In this you just dont hold it as long as needed.
Hey just found this video through yt recommendations, and I loved your tiny house and also loved this game. Looking forward to seeing u play it when it cames out!

I just went to this exact location in my own world and found that the devs have added mounds of terrain there. I wanted to remove all the mounds quickly, and discovered a trick I will using from now on, and that is to use foundation blocks as a method to excavate / flatten large areas of terrain.. Place the altar close to the work area, then activate build-mode and press X to allow snapping to be adjusted up, down, sideways (basically allowing exact placement), then place, and it will remove all the voxels in the size of the foundation, completely clean and flat, and NO swinging the pick over and over and over... just instant click the foundation is placed , and then simply pick it up and repeat.
