I wish I could test one here in the uk, I have some gold mines near me and gold in the river too! My Sovereign XS-2 is ok for rings, coins and relics but no way near sensitive enough for small gold.

Good Day , i dont know much about 45 kHz that this thing has, can you tell me how deep it can detect gold? for example lets just say with the weight of 10-50 grams, how deep it will do the Job? Thanks

Afternoon guys. Looking forward to trying my new 1000. But apparently they don't go so well in hot places. Reports out of QLD . There a waste of time after 10. Seems to have a heating system problem. Then again pub is open some where .😁😁. Plus head phone jack seems to work, but unplugged no sound out off speaker. Apparently this is a small issue.but according to sources. You have to pay to fix it. Can anyone else besides you tube . clarify this Problem with this machine. But other than that. I hear 7-8 star rating. From beginner to advanced. There trash mate ive been fossicking for 3 years now loving every minute of it... bought one of these trash machines a year ago... now I dont even go panning no more honestly... minelabs great machine has just turned me completely off it... it beeps on every rock every stick on the dirt on the grass... I balance it like all these youtubers show you... and its just garbage... ohh yehh goes off non stop on bedrock aswell... absolute pathetic machine... I hope your having a bit more luck with yours mate..
How'd sounds like a coil is not right maybe have you swaped coils buy any chance, or checked with Minelab code on the handle. It's free to look at. For a fraud Minelab. Just asking. Mine is still a dust gathering wall hanging decoration. Have you buy chance looking at a desert fox not illegal to take dirt home in Victoria. But I tell ya that spinning wheel . How many meters deep can detect?
@@josef851 howdy. Seems like I might be able to help you. So for a test find a piece of small lead. Put in in a plastic bag at a depth off say six inches. And try different seatings. As I'm not sure what ground your detecting. And go deeper than that if you're picking up. then you know what depths it will work and or not work.

The older Whites V-SAT , Gold Master and Gold Master II are well known to detect gold down to half the size of a grain of rice in hard packed ground....cheers

Inferior old VLF technology, please we do 'NOT' want an ultra high tech VLF machine of 'ANY' kind, the last thing we want is another VLF. "Listen", what we 'DO' want is a brand new model PI(superior Pulse Induction) machine that is "MUCH LIGHTER WEIGHT" than the GPZ 7000, the GPZ 7000 can detect small gold(like a VLF), detect much deeper than a VLF and also handle mineralization much better, but the GPZ 7000 machine is TOO HEAVY in weight. Did you hear me, what we DO want is a much "LIGHTER WEIGHT" PI machine with GPZ 7000 technology and it does not have to cost $10,000. That is the answer we are looking for.

I'm told after you turn it on you still have to put the coil down on the ground and pump it up and down to ground balance, but you say in your video turn on then start detecting you yourself don't do that

Hello Gharry, The GOLD MONSTER 1000 is a VLF entry-level detector for those who are looking for an easy-to-use and affordable option and it's great for finding small gold nuggets. However, the SDC 2300 is mid level gold detector that will perform better than the GOLD MONSTER in highly mineralised soil. Minelab Metal Detectors , I have used sdc 2300 and in an erea in Mauritania, it could find the smallest nuggets. But what I noticed that thd sdc 2300 could not do its work near of gpxs , it will be annoying by the gpx series. the thing that I wanna know if the gold monter 1000 is the same with sdc 2300 when it is detecting near of gpx series. Thanks!
