Between you,, Chris,Jeff and Slim, a heartfelt THANK YOU! After far too much stress over the scamdemic, weather, riots, civil war, I mounted up, rode through three days of rain, a bit if hell, Dehydration, I'm in Arizona with my Monster. Its not about finding Gold for mr. Its about living the life I dreamed. In a tent and prospecting. Today is my first day. Owe it to you three Genlemen. You too Slim! Thanks guys! Jerky and beans for breakfast, and glad to have it. I'm near Tombstone. Been coming to Cochise Co for decades.
Cheers Bill...thourght I had suction pumped my hole clean, then Allen me ol mate ran over me hole with his monster. I ended up with over twice the ammount of gold out of my hole. My monster turned up by courier this morning. I appreciate the tutorial. Regards from New Zealand.
Hello my dear.. something wonderful and beautiful from you. I ask God for all the success for you. As for me, I am watching your video clips. I work in the field of silver, gold, and precious stones. Good luck.
Thanks for this video, Bill. I just purchased the Gold Monster 1k. These videos are very helpful to understanding the machine and how to ID targets with it.
Saw that one as well. At least in that environment, was quite clear it was more sensitive. Idiot-proof machine that's great for noobs, super sensitive, well-liked by the very experienced -- and a very nice price.
G'day from Australia mate. Thanks for spending the time to explain some of the idiosyncrasies of the Monster. I've been umming and arring whether to get a second detector to compliment my GPX 5000 and after watching your video, I've decided to get the GM. Our ground is heavily mineralised over here, so I know i'll be pulling my hair out with frustration for the 1st few months using the GM until I get proficient with it. But that's what this game is all about, practice and perseverance. Have a great one brother
Your a bloody legend Bill and a wealth of knowledge. As a remote area fitter I actually bought my Monster for finding small bits and bolts that I'd dropped into the sand where I was working. I didn't take the price seriously as such a great little gold detector but after your informative video i was very surprised. Have subbed and thanks again.
I found your channel from another guys channel from a video on the 2019 Gold show in Phoenix. This videos so far is the best video I’ve seen explaining the settings on Monster 1000. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I've had my GM1000 for a couple of years nearly and it's a brilliant machine but have sporadic finds. Your tips help me and others a lot. Thank you from Downunder 🇦🇺😀
The goldmonster is the best gold detector ive used. Its great for those who are new and those who have detected for yrs. These machines can find even micro tiny pieces of gold.
Damn good review. I’m about to buy one of these tomorrow. Thank you for the video. I live in Alabama and only smaller nuggets and this detector seems to do the trick
Thank you for posting this information. I just picked up a ML Gold Monster and was having some trouble just figuring it out. Your information was extremely helpful in understand the ground balancing alone. Understanding and knowing the target area on the coil and pinpointing where the strongest pick up is located is huge. Subscribed and hit the notify... thank you.
Fantastic explanation of this machine, Bill! Minelab should bundle your video with the kit for all the monster's they sell - ITS THAT GREAT! Keep yer coil dusted off my friend!
The micro processor is balancing a lot of different ground conditions at once when moving it around like your suppose to where the older VLFs balance in the specific spot the coil is moving up and down on and is good reason why they seem to be out of balance in a few steps. That makes this detector much more powerful. Good video Bill.
Thanks for a great tutorial, as some one who knows nothing about detecting/detectors, but is interested in learning, I've learned a lot today. Thanks again
I appreciate this video so much, I learned of the monster from one of your other videos. I was getting ready to buy the Mine lab 8000 or Garett... I am an Arizona native and am tired of sluicing and panning... I have the Gold magic and now would like to try my hand at the detectors also.... Thanks for helping me pick and showing me how to use it, simply... I am just simplifying things now that I am older.
Hi Bill. So sorry to hear you had a rental house fire and the people lost a loved pet. Devastating! I enjoyed the refresher on the Monster. Man I love my Gold monster and most everything I learned was watching your videos. I use the 5x10 coil and amazed how small the targets can be. I work a little bit of white silicone dap to seal the coil cover and 1-1/4" electrical heat shrink instead of tape, works great. I have to go really slow at times in hot ground. Cool you found gold doing an educational video. Thanks, another fun learning video.
Good, good words to remember, thank you for your explanations in this video. So much to learn so we need these videos so we can catch that illusive rock we call gold.Lesson well taught Bill,We Thank You David out.
Thanks for the tutorial! I plan to purchase one for myself and can use the knowledge of people like you to help me get the most out of this investment.😊
Thanks sooo much for this video. I just bought this minelab and I’m jazzed to try it out. I’ve been using a old garret for years and finally bit the bullet and bought a minelab.
Thanks Bill !! I spent the weekend with Jeff Williams and what you have been talking about helped me out fast method and understanding the way the monster works. It truly is worth the $$ and I was finding gold in less than an hour, I never even took my Gold bug 2 out of the truck! Again thanks keep up the great post!!
I do the same with the 4500.....turn the threshold to zero and wear headphones...... It's true you have to experiment and know your machine..... I read on several metal detecting forums that the GPX 4500 and the 5000 have over 30,000 combinations for different grounds and materials..... Thanks for your videos Bill.....
Thank you for the very valuable training and information. I’m in southeast Oregon very near the coast and I deal with a ton of hot rocks but I’m learning. Thanks again.
Thanks Bill, Looking for insight of the 1000 and you have helped me there, thanks. Looking for a machine for a noobie is like looking for gold with a tooth pick, if you catch my drift. Have a good year!
