Nice livery for these bilevel cars. It looks like Märklin has taken the existing German cab control car that they have the mold for and painted them to follow the current DSB design - not the first time they’re doing that. The differences of the front of cars are like night and day, including the position of the lights, antenna, geometry, etc. Cheers, Axel
Hi Axel, Yes - I really like the livery and the cars are for the most part really nice. A shame with the cab though! Using the cab from the IC2 would actually have been more accurate... Enjoy ;-)
Hi Bo, congrats! Hope all good in AUH hot season 🥵 Despite a good looking Bombardier DSB livery, MA could have worked on details for realism indeed! But very nice to see your two DSB commuters running smoothly on your temporary layout. I also appreciate the advanced automation setup 👍🏼 any new CS3 event feature integrated? Cheers from DXB, Nils
Hi Niels, yup - I am enjoying the heat! I like the DSB livery on the cars, but indeed the cab is disappointing... The automation is basically just standard events. I find that using the standard events is easier and makes more sense than trying to figure out the more advanced macros such as the shuttle. Enjoy ;-)
Thanks for the video. Do you have 2 of the same car set? Are the Vectrons different models? The sound set at the factory is a bit loud and I always adjust it when possible.
Hi Kimball, yes - I have two of the Märklin 43599 Danish commuter car sets. It is two different DSB Vectrons - one from PIKO and one from Märklin (see description). I did lower the sound on these models to approx. 50% of the original - I do agree that the sound is often very loud when new. Enjoy ;-)
Hi, I can only agree - a little disappointed with the cab of these. The rest looks nice. Didn't know they are on they way from McK - can't wait tilll 2024! I do have some old Hobbytrade one's somewhere though... Hygge ;-)
Hi, Please find the track plan here: 1drv.ms/i/s!AqYmnR5sGgDxghoYNgyqiNRcDKid?e=KzjIs4 I have marked in red and green where I have places S88 sensors for automation. Red=Stop here, Green=Reduce Speed. The grey is station platforms. Hop you like it! Enjoy Bo ;-)
Nice Routes…👍
Hi Henk, Yes - thanks! Enjoy ;-)
Nice locos
Hi Chris, Yes - the Vectrons are really nice in the DSB livery! Enjoy ;-)

What is the steam engine with the red band on it?
Hi, This is a Danish DSB Litra D - you can see it here in this short: ua-cam.com/users/shortsdZ6fnwQXkOg Nice little steamer. Enjoy ;-)
Hey Bo. Anyway you could send me copy of the track plan of this layout? I would like to copy it! 😊
