      please no. there's a fine line between challenging and annoying. having your movement randomly frozen by a screamer felt cheap, like something out of baldi's basics. RB needs to hurry up and add new enemies instead.

    the fact that recovering your stamina 0 to 100 is faster than 50 to 100 is funny

    A brief list of some changes that i came up with that i think could be good:
    The respawn pills should only last for five minutes. If you take the pill and then die under those five minutes then you get revived. That way the pills could actually become a gameplay strategy, and it would be worth carrying them in your inventory to take one before a dangerous situation.
    The Stun Rig should only hit one enemy, or at least have a very small radious so it becomes more difficult to throw it at the target correctly. This way the Blind Rig becomes the only one to actually "stun" multiple enemies, making both Stun and Blind good with their own pros and cons.

      Some interesting food for thought, I personally think "stun falloff" for the stun would be interesting (so the further the enemy is from the center blast the less he is stunned for) but I like your idea too.

    This is the reason why I am hoping that they make the nurse that is now in sleeping rooms into prime asset. She could have some kind of a gas or syringr that would temporalily remove all your upgrades. So no upgraded stamina, just one healthbar, one carry slot etc.
    With this they could explore more into the "family" dynamic between prime assets as her being the aunt or something like that.
    Another thing I had in mind is a even, where reagens have a alarm straped to their rigs, that goes off randomly and can attract enemies from much further away that lets say breakimg down doors etc.
    Or an enemy type, that is basicly a stalker that always knows your position.
    Something like this that could rly mix up the games gameplay dynamic.

      They could add an amp that gives ex-pop (or even the Prime Assets) the tracker that we use to find the scapegoats, that would be a really good way to implement that idea

    Glad you see the game in a positive light and I agree with your stance on Psychosis. It needs to be more punishing than it is currently for it to be a real threat. Also, you’re spot on with Poison The Cattle for having the hardest segment in the game to get a no damage run. I’ve been struggling with it a lot myself.

      the toxic room is too big, making harder to reach the exit in time without taking damage, my tip is to hide in a closet or something to reset the toxicity of the poison

      @@theghostblink Oh, I have no issues with getting the poison canisters out of the chem lab without taking damage. My biggest problem is avoiding Franco in getting the poison to the objective.

    i agree with all of ur points, but especially the other creators being super negative for no reason. just cause a game has problems and the updates are slow doesn't mean that it's unplayable.

    I really agree for psychosis. It is just insignificant and not scary after a while.

      Just played with a newbie who died from psychosis TWICE, helplessly walking after me for whatever reason. Ragequit after second death, too, funniest thing in a while.

    I’ve been playing since the console release, been a fan of the series since 2016. I’ve gotten around 200 hours and I’m still having a great time! I do agree the balancing needs to be tweaked and the game because trivial when you abuse certain mechanics, but the main gameplay loop always keeps me invested

    Really good video! I agree with pretty much everything you said. The game is going in a good direction, hope it stays that way. New MK Challenges are good and especially Franco's update. I am not amazing at the game, so I don't think psychosis is that big of a deal, but I definitely think it needs readjustments. I have like 350 hours, and I feel like I have played the game quite a lot, I don't know how you got that high of hours lol. I have only played Poison the Cattle a few times but getting the poison back to the machine is definitely pretty difficult. For rigs, I feel like they should buff x - ray in pretty much all aspects and make it be able to see some objective things in the trials, like the evidence boxes in courthouse, and the poison in PTM. I have barely used x - ray so some of that could already be in game. I think heal is good as it is, it's mainly for people (like me) who get damaged quite often and need a backup way to get health. For blind, I feel like they should extend the range of the blind smoke, and like what another comment or you (can't remember) said they should decrease the stun range or make it effect 1-2 enemies at a time and maybe take away it being used as a distraction tool. For barricade, maybe just make the enemies take longer to break down doors.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if noise reduction not being nerfed is intentional on red barrels end, around 150hrs and and literally cannot play the game without it; I’m sure there are a lot of others on the same boat

    Old screamers should keep the same mechanic but nerfed a bit. basically instead of immobilizing completely the players they can just slow our movement by 70 or 80% and drop our heavy object.

    I think the best thing that could happen to Trials now, or in the near future, would be for it to get on Microsoft's map and land it on Gamepass in all honesty. It's doubtful any update from here on out that Red Barrels does themselves will ever get the game back to launch playercounts again

    Imagine you are not immune and seen by normal enemies while fully psychosis, that would be insane but at least you can't abuse it psychosis in that regard

    Clocked in about 100h during early access, sort of dropped the game after the 1.0 release. The first events really burned me out, but I've got myself to blame for that. Just felt some FOMO over the cosmetics, even tho 95% of my time played was solo (hey I can see my hands and feet, not to mention my room). Cosmetics seems like a petty thing to lose my interest over the game, but I don't know, it felt special seeing people in the lobby room even with any of the original prestige sets because you instantly knew "alright, this dude played enough to make it out". I think I'll just forget about them and focus on what I love, Outlast for Outlast. Events should be fun and challenging, not a checklist.
    Great video, really peaked my interest in Trials again, reinstalling the game right now.

    I dont know whether this fits in the lore but what if the player would hallucinate more during psychosis? Like instead of only seeing the skinner man you also start seeing consumables, traps or enemies that arent actually there or maybe ways appear blocked

    EA period was truly the worst so far. I played game since beta and was hyped. When game became aviable in EA I bought it and had a great time... But then... Lack of content and mostly questionable events.
    I stopped playing for a long time until toxic shock event and I'm glad that Trials are doing good. Still think that some updates are getting so long, but still. Great game

    I cannot fathom playing this for 1,000 hours. There just simply isn't a lot of content or things to do past the 200 hour mark but I respect the committment.

      Same. I tapped out shortly after 100 hours as the game (personally) just couldn't supply enough content in a timely manner.

      I just take breaks between updates. But I also am okay with some grinding for outfits. Escalation has really helped things stay fresh and challenging

      im at 600 lol, playing since closed beta. there just isn't really anything else like it. no other co-op horror game has this level of polish/budget, which is also its downfall as the small team at RB can't seem to pump out content at this quality consistently enough to keep players engaged. not counting prime assets or witnesses, we haven't even gotten our first new ex-pop yet... and they were leaked ages ago.

    id like to see the stun rig reworked into a resident evil-style taser that allows you to break free from any grab attack. then give it a secondary ability that's not too strong so it has some extra utility, since that'd be too weak/boring on its own. we've got bricks, we don't need AOE bricks on top of that, it's supposed to be outlast.
